HI THERE,IM ASKING FOR SOMEBODY'S EXPERTISE ON THE SUBJECT!I CANT GET THE PMDG BANNER TO DISPLAY IN MY SIGNATURE. IT WILL ONLY DISPLAY THE LINK BUT NOT THE BANNER. Does anyone know how I can change models from one engine variant to another, or is it even possible. For example, if I fly the Alaska 739 with 26K and I want to fly the KLM 739 with 27K. I know you can change the panel style in the PMDG menu, but I have not come across any with the 27K engine. Does selecting a style also change the engine type to match that airline? Also, does 1K extra on the engine make that much of a performance difference (in the sim), such as with the flight dynamics?

I use autothrottle when flying manual ILS. During manual landing, will autothrottle retard to idle by itself 50" above runway or should I disengage autothrottle before approaching the threshold and manually set it to idle?Thanks,Wayne Chan

I'd love to see a B737-700/800 (with or without winglets) in the livery of Air Europe, the UK airline which ceased operations in 1991:http://www.airliners.net/open.file/468560/L/Until a few years Air Europa also had the same colour scheme:http://www.airliners.net/open.file/003130/L/Even an Air Europa -800 repaint would be fictional as the first -800 to arrive was delivered in an interim livery(http://www.airliners.net/open.file/081443/L/)pending the all new blue/red livery.Would also be nice to see other fictional repaints of now defunct B737 operators, past colour schemes or hybrid schemes.

I was reading the review of the excellent 737 and came across this:"PMDG's president Robert Randazzo says a -600/700 update is in the works so later you'll have the option to upgrade that package without buying the -800/900 too"What will this be exactly? I'd really love to have the EFIS/MAP option on the 600/700 package, and also the new panel bitmap, don't care much for TCAS though.Leonardo C.

Ok I have spent an entire day trying to get this to work. My system runs just fine with only pmdg600/700 installed but when I install 800/900 I cant even load fs2004 it shows the opening picture and then vanishes before it gets to the create a flight page.I have erased fs9.cfg...I have reset fs2004 to default...I have tried it in safe mode....I have tried unistalling everything and reinstalling it...I have reinstalled v1-3...I have tried installing the patch for 800/900...I have tried not installing the patch for 800/900....I have updated my video drivers...I have checked my current version of direct X...I have the most current fsuipc...I have set my video card settings …

I first want to say great job to PMDG for their product! Your time and effort in creating it shows. Since purchasing the 737NG, I've spent many hours not just flying, but enjoying the learning (fustration?) of the complexity of their creation. But I (the village idiot) seemed stumped and I'm sure it's something obvious.I run the checklist and usually bring the bird up from a cold start. Hi all,I have been tweaking my aircraft.cfg file for the great Beech 1900D. Two of the lines now read:atc_type=BEECHatc_model=B190Should be correct, yes :-hmmm However, ATC now calls me "... is type Beech Beech 1900". Some questions:1. can PMDG 737 Next Generation and Radar Contact be used together in FS9?2. can Flight Deck Companion (FDC) and PMDG 737 be used together?3. can FDC, Radar Contact and PMDG 737 be used together?4. what about also using Advanced Sky 2004 with these combinations?If positive answer, no "interoperability" problems? Hey, Just read the post about the continuation of the expres lne of aircraft. I personally love the B1900D, but something I would love to see would be the Embraer 170. I saw a few previews over at Flight Factory Simulations months ago, but they are denying any such project. This aircraft is going to fill a big whole in the market, and there is a huge interest from many european airlines and in the US. The option of the 175 and 190/195 series is also a big bonus.Ok thats my sales pitch done, I'm sure whatever you release I will go reaching for my credit card cos they are so damn good!!!ClodakaJames MacLeod

My landing and taxi lights do not work in 2D cockpit mode. They do work in the VC or spot view.This now happens with all aircraft not just the PMDG.Does anyone have any suggestions?ThanksStanner

Hello,When i'm on ground and preparing my flight and ready for entring the V-speeds by clicking on the buttons of the FMC/CDU at the right side there are no speeds enterd, and when i'm doing it manual the speeds in flight are not correct! It calculates landing speed of 250kn!And i have filled in all the info it needs! ZFW runway temp etc.On a sudden moment the critic speed bars are intefering with each other!!What's the problem?? Oure is it solved in a service pack, oure i'm i the only one with this problem!!Peter

Could you give me some advise pls? I have installed FS9, PMDG and till now some add-on sceneries. FS9 and add-ons use about 350 MB (!) of my 512 MB memory... Loading times are long Cpu is constantly at 100% Once the first windows are loaded, in the beginning the framerates are not too bad.. After a while (around 15 - 30 min) the rates are dropping, as the the memory gets full and the system blocks sometimes. The specs of my pc are: Windows xp Pentium 4 2.0GHz/512k 512 MB 266 Mhz (PC2100) DDR Ram 64 MB Ti GeForce 3 Video Card 40 GB IDE Hard drive As the costs to expend do count in my case, what do you guys advise me, in order to improve performance, so that it is at least …

Howdy everyone! First post here at Avsim Forums. I have a question regarding the PMDG 737-600/700 FMC. If I want to make a direct-to path to a specified waypoint in the FMC, I click LSK1L to make a direct path to the nearest waypoint. However, I want to make a waypoint to say the second or third waypoint, if I do this it simply copies the waypoint into the "notepad", then when I press the LSK button to make the direct to path it gives me a "invalid information" error.I belive its trying to re-enter the information into that way point, thus it will not let me make a direct to waypoint. I hit this problem on an approach to an airport, where I needed to make a turn to the VO…

Hi all:I am a new to this forum, and I would like to congratulate PMDG on a wonderful product (I have owned it for about a week). I am able to complete short flights, but for some reason, longer flights are a problem. I have repeatedly tried to complete a KORD - TNCA (Aruba) flight, and I consistently get a FS crash (send report to MS or don't send screen) around KMIA. I have completed the same flight plan with other aircraft without any problems.Any ideas as to where I should start looking? I have a registered version of FSUIPC with extended battery checked.Thanks in advance.Fabio

Hello Developers & Enthusiasts! First time "on Air" I'd like to thank the whole PMDG team for the great work they did on the Boeings available - many exciting hours spent learning the ropes of the 737!! My urgent request, wish, question is:As I use GoFlight Modules (GF 45) for improved realism I wonder if PMDG has ever thought of adapting their MCP to work with the GoFlight Auto Pilot - the Com's & Navs, XPDR's are just fine but, of course, the "Real McCoy", the MCP doesn't....Seriously: Any thoughts, plans or patches on that planned??Thanks in advance fo any news! During takeoff with my pmdg 737-800, just seconds before V1. Both engines stop. Also during landing some hours later. Fs9 crashes to the desktop. What is going on? Can someone help me???
