Hey! :)Here's a routine status update on the 738. I am getting the right side done now. I am still tweaking the color of the metal and AA text, but they're starting to look right. The tail is HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL, in other words, it is going to change. But I just thought I'd let ya guys know how it's going. It's being a pretty smooth process considering there's no paintkit. :7Comments and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism welcome.Daniel Pimentel.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/74675.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/74676.jpg

Hello,I just noticed that when I adjust the trim, the Stabilizers will move up and down rapidly, the trim indicator in the cockpit will do this as well, I noticed this on the ground before activating any autopilots.

Tim, I think I am correct that you have the Bulfer manual for the NG. I had it a few years ago but sold it (dumb move since I have several of 'em)Do you know if the NG FMS supports 'off path descent radius'? The circles (drag/no drag) for a input fix.thanks

I'm just wondering if any real world 737 NG pilots who use the PMDG model could make a post here and mention how it compares to RL.

Hello,My cabin pressure is a bit screwy with my -800 model. It seems to work fine until climbing through about 23,000ft at which point my cabin pressure continues to climb to about 11,000-12,000ft, where it remains throughout the rest of the high altitude portion of my flights. It should of course climb to about 8,000ft and remain there through the rest of the flight until reaching the correct point during descent. Attached is a screenshot illustrating my problem. It was taken at 37,000ft. I have pneumatics set properly with both packs on and the center isolation valve positioned to AUTO. Both engine bleed air valves are open and duct pressure appears to be …

I've got this feeling that everyone knows something that I don't.I haven't seen any other posts regarding the fuel planner only showing the option to calculate for the 600/700 series. The 800/900 options are faided out on my planner. Is there a download somewhere that I don't know about, or is it something being worked on.Thanks in advance.

Hi all,I have flown quite a few flights with the NG and I have been having some problems with it. I will start a flight, program the FMC, takeoff etc.. The only real problems is when I get to my descent point. I'll be flying, get the RESET MCP ALT warning, and I reset it for the descent phase of the flight but the problem is when I get to TOD I get a message from the FMC saying VNAV PATH NOT AVAIABLE. It then switches to SPD when in most cases causes me to get down to where I have to be late. First question is what do I do to stop getting the VNAV PATH NOT AVAIABLE message from the FMC. Second problem comes on the approach part of the flight. On the FMC I put in th…

I recently bought the PMDG 737-600/700. I downloaded the new navigation files and the sid/stars. I put the sid/stars into the FS9/PMDG/Sidstar folder. The problem is that when I acces the DEP ARR page on the FMC, it shows no sid/stars. Other than that the navigation is fine. Someone please help!

Couple of questions for you guys about the 800 / 900. Note.. all weights in pounds, in both the sim, and pmdg load mangager.Flying the 737-800 from LAS - SFO, (ZFW 130,665) using around 1,000 in the center, and 7,000 in each wing, I was wondering what the usual takeoff length would be. Using proper trip, and rotation techniques (as discussed ad nausem in this forum =P), and it takes me roughly 7,000+ feet of runway just to get airborne. This seems a bit long to me seeing as how the bird is VERY light and should have no problem getting airborne (as I see them jetting out of SNA all the time, that runway is only 5,700 feet long.) Flying the 737-900 today from PHX - SAN …

I have a problem where I cannot see the flight levels and speed info in the LEGS page in the FMC. I enter a co-route at startup and go through the normal steps, but the info about flight levels and speed isn't showing. Do I have to enter all this manually? Will it make a difference if I'm using cycle 0504 for FSBuild and FMC but 0404 for the sid/star database?Thanks-Mikkel
