PMDG General Forum

On my last two flights now with the-700 I've had trouble after engaging VNAV. Climbing out as usual, at 3000' AGL I engage VNAV and my speed begins to bleed off until a stall is initiated. After recovering I'll engage VNAV again and, I lose speed. N1 is showing climb power. Another thing, I cannot access the CLB or CRUISE pages. I'm not doing anything different, I've had 100's of successful flights. Ok any SWA buffs in the know can help me out here. Notice the MCP in this picture http://www.airliners.net/open.file/257525/L/ and what is puzzling here is that the VNAV button is not covered (Most have a little cover that goes over the button) and it actually has the Speed Intervention option not to mention the A/T does not say INOP. I know PMDG lists the 800/900 to be used with FS 2004 but, has anyone tried it with FS 2002? :-)

Hey all,I've recently been making a FedEx Express repaint for the B1900 but have run into a strange problem.The repainting is fine, no problems there, neither is there a problem converting the textures from 24bit to 32bit with alpha. Hello and thanks in advance of any comments.Even though this is only a simulation the 737 can still be a handful especially when flying online.I am curious to know if anybody uses those flight companion programs to help?How effective are they?regards Robert

Is there any place I can download checklists for the 737NG which is used in real world flying? A checklist with some explanations for each step would be nice.Marius S

Hi,Why should you release the PMDG SDK to PMDG users enthusiasts ? The answer is here : www.cpflight.comI'm sure you know about this site.Take a look at this site. They have done a great job to release a real MCP for 737NG, But this fabulous hardware does not work at 100% with your B737NG 800/900. Some key assignments in the PMDG does not works (like HDG Decrease or V/S Decrease).The CPFLIGHT Crew needs this SDK, so they can release a patch for the MCP737 to works fine.At last, i'm not a member of CPFLIGHT, just a great fan and user of the PMDG 737 800.It's up to you now PMDG Staffrgds / Stephane LTT

Hi guysI have a query regarding STARS in the FMC vs Real world charts. I have recently started flying online with British Airways Virtual and have come into a situation regarding my arrival at EGCC (Manchester UK) via the DAYNE1B STAR.The FMC STAR has a transition between the end of the STAR and the Approach ILS rwy24R/06L to complete the flight plan. Looking at my real world charts this transition does not exist.The approach chart also has a different flight path to the FMC, with a procedure turn involved on the chart.My question is what does everyone else do when flying online - use the FMC flight path or the real world chart?So far I have not been under ATC control whe…

Hi,I'm trying to make up a set of SID's for Gatwick but keep running into a problem.An example is the Clacton 5P departure from Rwy 08L. The text states to go straight ahead via GE NDB maintain track 080 to intercept radial 273 from DVR VOR.If I program that as it states on loading it gives me a discontinue line after GE. Hi,I just noticed something strange. When I am on the right path for the APPR, and I click on the APPR button, the indicator (the two yellow dots) on the button goes off but it follows the GS path for the approach. Any idea why the light turns off?Thank you.

Gents and simmers, need help here!I downloaded Rob Barengret's (spell) nice box por sounds, crew calls etc, and followed the installation instructions as precisely as possible.Rob's example is for a standard MSFS 747, so I had to twist things a little to put it on PMDG...See what I did: 1 - I backed up the original panel.cfg file;2 - I than copied the .bmp file to the panel.cfg of the PMGD 737-700;3 - I copied and pasted the [windows0X] configuration into the panel.cfg; a) The PMGD panel.cfg has 36 [windows], while the 747 has only 06, so I renamed it [windows37]. :( Also, the PMGD panel.cfg has, after all the windows a configuration for colors. There are constallation of things we'll never see.And while i can second you on some requests, i have to admit that such a functionality would be completely useless :(Yes i too would like to have a NG in my backyard, but unless you buy the whole plane i don't think it is possible :(

By "accident" I had the virtual cockpit view once on a flight. Normally I have only the view without any instruments. What to do?Andres
