Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to obtain ILS frequencies to airports while flying 737 NG in MSFS 2004? Air traffic control gives me clearance to a runway but unless I've done my homework beforehand I can't tune in.Many thanksRichard

Hello, I have recently installed the software and the gti.dll. Im running windows me. When I run flight simulator 2004 I get an error, saying kernel32.dll I cant play the game and the program shuts down. Can anyone help me on this?Thanks

Hi guys. I recently created a approach for SBRF and I was testing it today. When on final, pressed TOGA button to initiate the missed approach, and for my surprise my A/P was disengaged (if I engage it again everything goes well). Is it normal?In this approach, i turn to final very close to the runway (2.2NM), and I activated TOGA as soon as my turn to final started. Is this right?As this is a non-precision approach, I should activate TOGA at MSA or it's ok to wait a little more? What if ATC asks me to go-around before I turn final? Hi PMDG.How is the status of the patch for the -800/900 series?

I was wandering about the flight dynamics of the PMDG 737-700 when I tried to replicate the crash of USAir Flt 427 in Pittsburgh back in 1994 or thereabouts. The problem was with the rudder valving and the rudder stuck in the full left position leading to a rollover to the left and resulting crash. The aircraft was a 737-200 and was at an altitude of 6000ft on approach to the airport when the rudder malfunctioned.I know that the PMDG is a 737-700 series and I was attempting to see if the flight dynamics were the same or close to the real 737-200 that went down. hello, i usa the navdata for 737TNG, and i downloaded the latest packet and i seem to ahev a lot of prolem with running the FMC. The common problem is some of the routes i enter it says invalid entry. Also when making the route and at the end where u end with the airport with direct, i cant seem to do that. It also says invalid entry. help...thx

Hi, as you might have figured I'm no expert when it comes to assigning an action for the pmdg 737 with fuispc(registered).I want to assign a multiple action to a button on my sidewinder that when pushed activates the autopilot and when released engages vnav on the mcp of course.I tried posting on the Pete Dowson forum before but that didn't work out so if there are some good samaritans out there willing to help I'd appreciate it a lot.Thanks in advance,David

Recently in the alt.games.microsoft.flight-sim newsgroups the subject of braking came up. It was suggested that a good pilot could land without brakes and get to the taxiway without using them. I believe that this is certainly against certain airlines procedures which says the autobrake must be set, however that is a secondary point really.Out of idle curiosity I decided to try it and see what would happen. To facilitate this I took my PMDG 737-700NG to EGCC on runway 24R in zero wind conditions. Hi,Everytime I load a PMDG airplane, I get that progress bar telling me that its loading the AIRACS, runways, fixes, etc. Takes a few seconds so its not much of a big deal.However it I was recently talking to a friend of mine who said that he only gets that if he updates the AIRAC cycles when Richard from NAVDATA releases them. Otherwise, the airplane loads without that progress bar.So I'm wondering, how many of you are getting that progress bar everytime you load a PMDG airplane and is this supposed to happen? I've format my PC, reinstall WIN XP, all update from WindowsUpdate, just fs2004 and everythings OK, 737NG inclusive 80-00 series and half route crash to desktop; I followed all suggestion from the pmdg webpage, copying as well the gdi module into fs folder, delete fs.cfg, all saved flight,....bu still crashing to desktop.I've bought this product, because I use the 800 series,...but I cannot take advantage of that due to this problem....Hope to be contacted by pmdg teamAndrea

Hi allHow can I set ABOVE/BELOW altitude parameters on SID/STAR script?If i must intercept a radial from ABC, and intercepting I must overfly that point at, for instance 4000 ft how can I set this parameter, the speed is documentated on manual the altitude is not, I mean:TRK 128 INTERCEPT RADIAL 220 FROM NAVAID ABC (altitude?) Hi,Q: Why is there so match cargo capacity for the luggage ofcourse, but if you have 107 passenger, then your weight should be around 2000KG of luggage. But if you calculated both of the cargo holds together you will get a max weight of 12364KG (-700 type).Why is that???? You never fill the cargo holds to that weight!

Search this forum a few days ago. There was a topic that mentioned joystick/yoke throttle calibration.Apparently if your throttle is not calibrated correctly and when you pull the throttle to idle before landing the spoilers will not deploy. This may also affect autobrakes.Check N1 is below 21% when your throttle is at idle when on the ground, if it is above 21% you may have trouble. If it is above 21% push F1 and see if N1 drops, if it does you have some calibration issues.hope this helps, Nick
