hi, i recently bought the pss airbus pro a319etc.however in my panel only a small square on the top left is visible of the outside, the rest is blacked out completely. the panel displayes perfectly, just the outside view that's a prob. i've tried opening the BMB's to ensure their completely black, and attempted to resize the square with no luck.Thanks,Lee Collier

My Force Feedback 2 stick is fairly old now but never the less worked ok until a few days ago. The problem is that as soon as I touch the throttle N1 goes to 55% and the only way I can reduce the power is to hit F1, also the nose wheel steering is chaotic. On the set up screen (properties) the slider and rotation function ok and and test area all seems ok. Gear, flaps kneeboard and brakes all function as normal. I have read on a forum that it appears that the early FFB2 stick is not supported by XP. Has anyone any comments that may help. It has frustrated my simming for the time being. Thanks Bealine

hi there,i have a strange problem. so i dont know if that occures after installing the 800/900 update. on my last flights on evenings i noticed that the cockpit lighting is not working anymore (i dont mean the dome light)?!i never touched a hand to the aircraft.cfg - only to install liverys - or the panel.cfg.what would be the easyest way to solve that problem.thanx

I cannot enable either 'alt hold' or 'change level' when setting an altitude while in AP mode - I have looked at the manual but no luck -can anybody help me please?

Hey, folks:Since I know some of you are not going to be upgrading to the -800 (either because you don't want it or because you can't do it), I figured I'd start to work on a modification of the -700 panel to at least make it more accurate. I've been working with photos, and I've come up with this so far. It is obviously work in process... Dear All,I have a spare 19" CRT monitor. Is it possible to use my Video card Radeon 9800 Pro ( 2 monitor ports) to show the panel and outside stretched across both screens. I am aware that you can show "other" screens such as FSNAV, SB and throttle, overhead etc but can you show the main panel on both screens?I am just startingout in my home Simpit so here goes. Ideally I will have multi monitor set ups over a network. But...well I thought this could be a start.Thanks for any helpAndrew

I am very new to all of this and am just starting to touch the edges of in depth flight simulation. I have not touched on any of the online facilities such as squarkbox etc.I am exploring my PDMG 737NG 700-900 and also my PSS A340 and so I'm just starting to understand the basics of FMC programming. I also have FS Build V.2 and can just about export a basic route.What I don't understand is whether or not I need to export the SID STAR's and how this differs from the SID STAR's available to choose on the FMC.Can anyone help or point me in the direction of understanding these basics.Many thanksSebastian

Sirs,I don't know if you have read the avsim front page yet. I wonder if PMDG would make a "virtual co-pilot?" I think the PIC crew are making a real co-pilot so you can fly with your bud across a LAN or the net even. I think Dreamfleet's 727 may have a "virtual engineer" too. I know that Captainsim had a go with this for their 727, and it wasn't perfect but still very entertaining hearing your co-pilot call outer marker etc...Do your think a PMDG virtual co-pilot would be worth developing? If some didn't like it I guess you can always turn it off.Paul

Although I am a beginner, everything is O.K., but I am not able to land with the aircraft at all...I can use most of the FMC, but there is a problem with STARs. As I am descending, ATC assignes me the exact runway for landing. Then I gotta update my route in FMC - I want it to go from the last waypoint (entered in FMC even before takeoff) to the first waypoint of STAR that leads to the beginning of appropriate glide slope. In this point I want to turn to my final approach (using ILS) and then normally slowly descend along the glide slope all the way to the treshold of my runway. HiI've been developing some SIDSTAR files and hence departing many times from the same runway. It would seem that, if rotation and positive climb does not occur very promptly, approx 60% N1 is commanded - leading to a crash unless Auto throttle is disarmed.What seems to be happening is that I set the speed bug to V2 (which is incremented by 20kts). The aircraft is ruunning fairly heavy and if it is not rotated very promptly, the THR HOLD mode annunication changes to MCP (can't remember specific annunication here) - in other words it seem to suddenly decide to chase the speed set on the MCP (anticipating the aircraft accellerating presumably) at the point when you need max…

A command syntax would be useful;TURN [left/RIGHT] RATE [rate] HDG [target heading] UNTIL/INTERCEPT ....and so onThere are many procedures that require a turn to a specified heading BUT where that heading is more than 180 degrees left or right.This slight change to the TRK or HDG command would make these a LOT easier.Anyone think a good idea?Cheers :)Nick Kidd

I've just installed the 737NG 600/700 and it looks great. I decided to use the introductory flight to get a feel for the aircraft butI cannot get the starboard engine to start using the instructions in the manual. I can however get the port engine started no problem by following the same instructions. I've version 1.3B. Any ideas where I'm going wrong?. I've tried umpteen times without success.
