I have download the zip file for the 800/900 upgrade twice. Both times when unzipping (with winzip 9.0) I received the following message:-Extracting to "c:unzippedPMDG_737_NEXT_GEN_800_900"Use Path: yes Overlay Files: yesExtracting PMDG_737_800_900.EXEbad CRC 39adb6d2 (should be bab25188)Extracting README.TXTInstallation would not proceed ....... does anyone have any ideas as to what may be going wrong...I use broadband and don't normally get problems and did a clean restart before the second download.Many thanks for any help anyone can offerJohnLondon UK

PMDG and fellow pilots,I experienced a very hard computer crash this past weekend, I am just now starting to get back on my feet. Luckily for me, I had my FS on a different drive, but all of my FS files, IE activesky, PMDG, FSBuild, were on the drive that I lost. So I now have none of these files left. I am wondering how I can get my downloads of my PMDG files again, since I lost all of my info. I would appreciate anything from PMDG or anyone else who has had this happen before.

Hi, I`m going to buy the the PMDG 737. Is there a reason why the download from PMDG is dearer than the cd from Just Flight? What will I lose out on by buying the cheaper version?Hope I`m not treading on anyone`s toes, asking this question.Cheers,David

Hi!I don't know if you are working on items that follows but I have some things that must be corrected:1) elect hyd pump can supply hyd power for all surfaces with engines off (now is only possible to put out flaps with engines only)2) Stby pumps activates when flap override switch is on (alt flap) I don't remember exactly but it put slats directly into full ext. pos when flaps are not 03) flaps do not move unit per unit but in down position moves for the time you hold the switch, in up you can release switch and it will put full up the flaps.4) Fire module on p8 panel in vc is not interactive, if you can try to make a working fire warn module even in vc and put a bette…

Hiyaaaa!2 screenies on final... at the same moment (I paused the sim)...Showin' the difference between captain 2D and VC views...The 2D one is great!!!But the VC one is "bizarre"... sometimes switching to VC from 2D the field seems suddenly so far away...And I can't remember if it was the case before 800/900.In all other addons the differnce is NOT that huge between 2D and 3D.Is there something I can do about it?Shot attached.

I have the latest KMCO data for PMDG. The only thing is that when I select 17L it doesn't show 110.95 witch is the frequency for it. I don't even have 17L available. Is there away to add it to the data base? I haven't checked 35R. The ILS works but I kept getting the warning about the radios and fmc didn't match or something like that.

PMDG,I know it is not PMDG's fault that ATI card owners (still get the stuttering with the latest driver set) get a stuttering in the VC gauge refresh rate even when they are turned up to max value through the PMDG menu. I also know you guys are aware of the problem and have tried to tweak the -800/900 upgrade to help out. I was just wondering if you guys have been able to figure out anything else that might help us ATI users in regards to the upcoming 744?

Hello,Just a quick question. After installing the 800 update, it also refreshes the 600 and 700 with new panels. So, is there any difference in realism between 600 and 800? Basically whats the difference between 600 and 800 after update? I know that older versions virtual cockpits have not been updated yet, but lets count this out.Thanks.

Hi,I am flying 11000 and to make sure that the Autopilot can obtain the programmed altitude (8000) set by the FMC, I set the right altitude of 8000 in the MCP, way before reaching the ToD. When the airplane reach the ToD, it starts to descent and reach the 8000 altitude just before getting to the next waypoint. Up to now everything is OK. --- The Problem is, after reaching the 8000, the plane stays level and does not follow the descent pattern established by the FMC. Eventually, I get the message: (rw/app crs error ) and later on (Des Path Unchievable)Question: Why does the plane remain at the 8000 level ?P.S.: Take off and cruise are normal.I have updated the NG to the …

Hi,I'm new to this forum and just manage to buy PMDG 737-600/800.can we edit or add a new navigation name such NDB,intersection in the FMC database ? how actually it works with FS9 navigation database system ?

As the 747 is a long range aircraft, I hope we find some way to save the flight so we can do it over a period of time instead of one sitting. I know about FS9 limitations and would love the 747 by PMDG but hate the idea of limiting where I can fly by my own time limitations.John

I just purchased the 737-600/700. It seems to be a really great addon aircraft. I've been a big fan of PMDG since the old FLY days. They've always produced a quality product. My problem is that this thing is eating my system for lunch. I'm running a P4 2.4, Radeon 9500 with the latest drivers,512MB of memory. It takes a while for the aircraft to load in FS9,then my framerates are all over the place with random stutters and pauses. I have my sliders at mid-way and I've even tried turning my AI traffic down to zero. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When I lit the panel light the instrument lights up in the 2D panel, but in VC the panel light seems to be extinguished rendering the VC very dark. What to do?RegardsJan Friberg
