Dear PMDG,I cant help but notice that all the engine data (N1, oil temp, vibration etc) seem to be identical for both engines. Im sure some of these values should not be identical for both engines in the real world, so why not just program a small +/- 1% variation for one of the engines values, to add much greater realism when looking at the engine data. Since the 747 is coming out shortly with four engines, it would seem even more unrealistic if all four engines behaved exactly identically.One thing I do love about the PSS A340 is the fact that all four engines behave differently and, consequently, it is much more of a pleasure to look at their engine data during the f…

hi pmdg community - this is my first post so i'll take this opportunity to introduce myself.i'm Graham from the UK, (cheshire). Very happy with the PMDG 737 600/900. I bought the lot a few weeks ago and i'm a happy chappy.Anyway, the question i would like to ask.I fly using the FS ATC and i was just wondering if there was any software that can convert FS flightplans to the pmdg format.I bought FSBuld, which is a very good bit of software, but it doesnt seem to be able to convert FS flightplans to PMDG format very well. eg. A UK flightplan (.PLN) converted to .RTE went half way round the globe. Well off the mark you could say.So if anyone has any reccomendations i would b…

Hi allIs the incoming Update for the 700, going to optimize the Poligon count in the models?If so, will a lower poligon VC with clickable overhead and the rest of bells and whistles represent an increase in performance for the average machine?Thanks

Hi,Would it be possible to add to the failures menu so we can have an option such as "generate one random failure every 30 minutes?" Just so we don't know what's coming. Also, will the updates improve the failures system?Cheers,Paul

Hi AllGot the brand new boxed version of this wonderful aircraft but keep getting a niggly problem hope someone can help me please.Trying to follow the tutorials available for download by Fred Clausen and Tim Metzhinger and running into problems with the auto throttle it just will not harm at any cost.The lever throws and then bounces back and the middle red light keeps flashing for some reason.When I load the plane in the UK sometimes on cold dark start I hit ctrl e to start engines then try autothrottle arming ready for takeoff and no luck , other times it goes on no trouble in the same scenario.Hope someone can shed some advice into what is stopping it arming so I can …

Hi,my problem is that whenever I need to change the PMDG aircraft from let's say -600 to -800 or -700, and I try to load the next aircraft, FS9 just does a CTD - crash to Desktop.Is this a knows FS9 bug? I can swap between cessnas to pipers etc. but I cannot swap between highend a/c like PMDGs?!!?Had MS not thought about that what they created may support real highend simulations like from PMDG and so has to be able to handle such big aircraft models?!??

Hello everybody,I have a little problem with PMDG 737-700.Randomly, in every part of my flight A/P disegnages automatically and CWS mode (r or P) engages by itself.It happens during climb, takeoff, cruise, etc etc..I know what is CWS mode but I don't know why it engages automatically...I don't touch axes of my joystick, I disabled it also, but there's always the problem...I use Fs2004 with FsMetar to have real weather in my flight...I read old post about this argument but I was not able to find an answer to solve my problem...Another question...sometimes when I'm in cruise with LNAV and VNAV mode armed, VNAV disarmed automatically and I can't arm it again...when i tried t…

I am trying to use TMetzinger's PMDG 737 tutorial and I have downloaded hos PDF and other files... but the readme.txt says..that I need two other files.Requirements:You need NAVDATA0313 (www.navdata.at) andSIDSTARS 0401 (www.precisionmanuals.com download page)But I can't find these two files on those two sites... hi all,can i just say how much i love the PMDG 737NG i absolutely love, i am always flying from CNS -BNE and back again in the 737-800 Qantas and Virgin. Just a thing i was having trouble with my scenary always blacking out when i am flying the new 800/900? i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, if so will it be fixed in the update coming out. thanks steele

To save initial dial up time, I am thinking of buying the Aerosoft CD. If I go this way:a. Do PMDG provide any support or do I have to rely on Aerosoft.b. Can I download and install the 800/900 upgrade.I ask because I have run into problems with a previous product by buying the commercial cd versions - the developer had no interest in any problems.Many thanks

Hey guys!!!I have this weird problem since I installed the 800/900 package. Before I could do entire flights with the VC/VCAB models in the VC mode. But now I when I load a plane after the update and go to VC.. myframes drop from 30+ to 10 and below. And when I exit the VC and go back to 2d where they were 30+ they stay at 10-15 max. But if I change planes and get a 2D only model its back to 30+.so the problem im having is related to the VC on the new models and the old ones now. Can I do coupled 2 AP (Autoland) ILS approach in every airport equipped with ILS?Does it have to do with the Weather, visibility winds etc...Does it have to do with some designations found in the charts?I was looking at some and I found some CAT II or III, but I have not found clear definitions on that... Hi I am new to Flight Sim but trying to learn fast I have started to use the FMC in the excellent PMDG but when entering STARS and approaches I am just vectored off these by ATC making the use of them rather redundant Is this just a limitation of MSFS ATC or am I doing something wrong. Yesterday I was flying on VATSIM from EDDS to ESMS with the 737-700 in MSFS2K2. When on final, the approach controller decided that he had put me too close to an airplane in front of me so he issued a go around. By then I was in APP mode and he wanted me to turn left heading 090 and climb and maintain 2500. My question is what should I do to exit APP mode and enter HDG and VS mode? I tried simply pushing the HDG and VS buttons but the plane just continued the heading and descent it had while in APP mode (HDG and VS wouldn't lit up). I also tried to pull the Autopilot Disengage bar which sure enough put the plane out of autopilot, but when I tried pushing HDG and VS (and t…

Hello everybody,I've got a problem with B737-700 NG autopilot...Randomly, during flight (climb, cruise, etc etc) the A/P disconnects and engages CWS mode (p and/or r) and the plane begins pitching down and banking...I know what CWS means but I don't know why it automatically engases by itself...I don't move any axes of my joystick and I disabled it from Fs too, but there's always the problem.I read old post about this topic but all said that the problem was generated by accidental moves to the joystick...It's not my case, because I tried also with Joystick disabled controlling pitch and roll by keyboard.Thanks for your helps...Bye.P.S. Firstly I have just finished Tim's tutorial V2 and thoroughly enjoyed it, having done V1 some time ago. Anyone purchasing this aircraft should do it before asking any questions as it's well written and thought out.However here's my question. On the attached image, what does the circled yellow strikethrough message mean? I've looked in Bulfer and the PMDG manuals and couldn't see an example. This is a general question, rather than relating to this flight.

Hey there. I've watched two justplanes videos with NG's in them, the Virgin Blue one and the GOL one. For some reason, the Virgin Blue trim sound differed from the GOL 737-800 sound, which is the mechanical "click" as in the PMDG. The Virgin's aircraft, however, had more of a "whoosh" sound. Am I imagining things or are they different?

I have recently done the default flight in the 600.Everything worked fine except for the autotrottle. it will not stay on. i have clicked it a number of times but it just flashes on then off again. Any ideas what i am doing wrong.

How does one fly the back beam on an ILS in the 737 NG?There is no mode for it and when I try to fool VOR/LOC mode it turns around.Thanks.
