Hi all,I'm thinking about buying FlightDeck Companion. To me it seems a great add-on, one which makes your FS more realistic. But can this add-on also be used in combination with PMDG aircrafts. Are there functions you can't use, or will everything be ok.Regards,Steven

Hi....HELPat the back of the 737NG 600/700 manual i notice a section on the fact the FMC stays blank even though all apu power is on...im one of the unlucky ones...that is my problem....it says to copy the lucida fonts from my windows cd...well i didnt get a windows cd with my computer...can i get them off the net and what do i require and how do i install it. i am running xp.i have several discs i got with computer new but not a windows one.only a system restoreplease help me i am desperate to use my 737 but so far to no avail....have i wastedmy money so i can never use it?DaveFujitsu siemens scaleo 600atholon 30001024ddr256 radeon graphics card

I know that there are a lot of really serious simmers to be found on this forum, and I was wondering where I would look to purchase a real-world 737NG operations manual. I have heard of one before but I don't remember the name of it or where to get it from. If I recall correctly, it started with a 'B', but who knows... Hi,could someone tell me how to add vapure effects to the wings?When approaching and landing in wet conditions, I watched these effect in reality flying as passanger in a B733 and as well and more in a B738. Can someone tell me if there are automatic vapour effect somewhere to download and how to add these to the PMDG B737-xxx fleet???Thanx a bunch!

i wish to upgrade my 737 600/700 to the 800/900 version but my internet connection times out after 2 hours and using 56k conn that means about 30 mb.Is there any other way of obtaining this upgrade eiher by post or use of software to resume the download. regards mark

Hi GuysFantastic Product - 1/2 way through my world tour and i only had the 900 a week!!Anyway - when I get in and start up, programming the FMS I find the plane creep sforward even at min throttle with the park brake on - am I doing something dumb?Let me re-phrase thatOn the 'righteous' authenticity I have experienced with your product to date, please can you let me know what I am doing rong?:-)Thanks again - and I am in the line for the 747 and anything else you guys bring out!

Is there a rule of thumb for determining heights / distances when bringing the aircraft in to land ie to complete the fmc info.thanks eric

well,what a good start...3 ops into the intro flight.i start the batt. and the apu(cant hear anything start up...r u supposed to?)...follow instructions...click on ready to programme FMC...nothing....fmc not getting any power...tried several gos at it...same result...am i missing something?Thank youDave

I have just re-installed Windows XP. I now need to re-install PMDG 737 back into FS9.I managed to save all of the previous files and have successfully reinstalled the base 737 600/700 and have been able to upgrade it to version 1.1 however for some reason, the installer that upgrades it to 1.2 is not working properly.Can someone please give me a link to re-download version 1.2 so that I can continue and get it upgraded to 1.3 and then get the 800/900 installed.Thanks for your help with this.Roger Hollands

Hi guys,I've had this problem for a while now and I've taken a screenshot to show you it. This is me cruising at FL360 with a clean wing etc etc but the speed tape shows that I'm overspeeding. I cannot work it out! Is there anything I'm not doing? All the speeds in my FMC are wrong for example, the Approach Ref for Flaps 40 is 1118kts!! Hi,Here is my question, at Edinburgh (EGPH) the ILS/DME ident is "I-TH." In the STAR you may need to fly a DME arc off the ILS/DME. In the real NG can you enter ILS identifiers into the FMC legs and fixes page? I can't seem to do this with the PMDG NG.If it's not possible, do you fly off raw data?Thanks,Paul

For those of us who want to be as "real as FS gets" ;), can anybody post some realisitic LOAD coimbinations for the 6/7/8/900 aircraft?I'm just GUESSING when I go into the load manager and setting number od PAX and cargo weight. Hi !The Hapag-Lloyd 737-800 Livery is wrong, Hapag Lloyf only uses 737-800 w winglets. The Coluors are right.Could you please correct it?ThanksMarcello

Having a bit of a problem that I hope someone can help with.When Flying the 737-800 I get a system freeze and black screen at 20ft before touchdown. The hole flight would go ok with no problems.The strange thing is, I flew the same route in the 737-600 and had no problems. It only happened in the 800 maby 3 out of every 5 flights.Anyone shead any light on this one.

Hello,I have a question to developers or real pilots of a 738.Like the 767 PIC the N1 button is to engage the throttles for takeoff , why is in the panel of the PMDG a hidden to/go button and a visible N1 button with a other commands??? is that in real life also???????? If not please can you make it as in a reallife.Is there a possibility to use the FMC for a alternate airport?Is the fuel flow and step climb accurate as in reallife, with my testflight, it was not, it stayed 2000 ft below a reallife flightplan. wat is your experience?ThanksCees van Diest

I know about the capability of using the MAP display on the ND to indicate the to/from bearings of the VOR selected as VOR1, and how you can change the bearings with the Course control in the MCP.What I would like to know, is there a way to assign the to/from bearings of the VOR selected as VOR2 and change the bearings.What I trying to do is locate a point on a chart using two VOR bearings.Any suggestions would be appreciated.George

Hi!I am experiencing low framerates (around 10 fps and often less) in the PMDG (upgraded to 800/900) using the virtual cockpit (in 2D cockpit it's around 17-20 fps). This especially happens with airports (like Munich from German Airports) in sight. My scenery sliders are mostly moved to the max, "medium high" clouds though. The only really successfull way to increase the framerate to around 20 fps is to reduce the scenery complexity slider a lot (but then everything gets ugly). Changing gfx card settings (anti aliasing, filtering and so on) does not help to get the fps above 15. I normally use the resolution 1280x960, but also in 800x600 the framerate doesn't get above 15…
