No results in searching the forum, so it must be something I do wrong.On touchdown I don't hear any sqwueeking sounds coming from the tires. Is this normal? I have the touchdown wave files in my 737-700 sound folder. Also, I don't hear the overspeed warning sound. All other sounds play well (as far as I can judge). The sliders in FS are set correctly (I can hear all the sounds in the default aircraft).Any ideas?

Hi guys,This may be: -New to everyone -Buried in an old post somewhere -Real functionality...but I personally have no idea.The key elements (to replicate) are:Battery onAPU not onYaw Damper onAft Left Fuel Pump onSuddenly the Yaw Damper switches itself off.I know it's a weird procedure to follow. I was halfway thru and got distracted by something, when I came back I was all out of sequence.Can anyone account for this seemingly odd behaviour? There is no immediately obvious reason for it to behave that way in the real world.Obviously not a 'showstopper' type of problem but interesting all the same.Cheers!

Hello,So far, and despite several download attempts, I have failed to extract these two files:1) pmdg_737ng_flight_tutorial.zip2) 737ngadvtutorialv2.zipEach time I think I have downloaded the files, my WINZIP says there are no files embedded in the ZIP-file, despite showing the allocated MBs.?.. I did manage to extract the first file from another machine, only to have the PDF file turn out corrupted.Any help or suggestions out there?Thanks.

I`ve loaded a simple fplan luton to birmingham into fmc and I believeall other info, before reaching ToD I set autopilot to 2700 alt and on reaching ToD the fmc reacts and the aircraft starts to descend but reaches the airfield way above the ils and consequently overshoots I`m not an expert but I`m obviously doing something wrongcan someone advise please. Also the tuturial says switch to LOC then to APP is there a time in between presses?thanks eric

Hi I am having trouble getting the 737 600/700 to install,I get to the point when the Microsoft Word appears,then after answering the questions I get the message that is as follows;This operation is cancelled due the restrictions in effect on this computer, contact your system administrator.}( When I try to open the 737 the computer hangs!! that's it,no joy with this add on,my ststem is ;AMD Athlon XP2000+ 1.7 GHzNVIDIA Ge ForceFC 5200Direct x 9The flight sim works with all other a/c,just this 737 600/700Any help out there, stuck 'simmer' regards aga

Me again...I have a FMC database prob. As i wanted to fly EDDM-LFPG, it says LFPG Burex unknown, i also have no SID/STAR availavle at LFPG.I also have a problem on KMIA, as the runways are incorrect, and no SID/STAR available.Maybe there are problems on other airports i haven't tried out yet, too.Any solutions? I installed the newest aircac and SID/STAR from PMDG.Marcello

Hello everybody,I have a little problem with PMDG 737-700.Randomly, in every part of my flight A/P disegnages automatically and CWS mode (r or P) engages by itself.It happens during climb, takeoff, cruise, etc etc..I know what is CWS mode but I don't know why it engages automatically...I don't touch axes of my joystick, I disabled it also, but there's always the problem...I use Fs2004 with FsMetar to have real weather in my flight...I read old post about this argument but I was not able to find an answer to solve my problem...Another question...sometimes when I'm in cruise with LNAV and VNAV mode armed, VNAV disarmed automatically and I can't arm it again...when i tried t…

I have seen a few screenshots of other people's panels, and some of their PMDG 737s have a little cirlce of dots around the triangle that represents the airplane on the panel display. I haven't ever seen that on my flights and I was wondering what it was.Preston G.

Future Airline Pilot Hello painters, I am trying to get into the painting aircraft thing. I have paint shop pro 7. I am currently trying to figure out how to get the body of the aircraft one color with out filling in the whole plane with flood fill. If you do that you no longer see the windows and such. It would be great help if you could give me advice on how to get the body of the aircraft one color without filling in windown and doors etc. I am trying to do the New Zealand based Freedom Air. Also can anyone tell me how you get the logo on to the tail of the aircraft i am painting. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. scott

2 of my last 3 flights in the 737-900, as I tried to slow the plane down with the A/T engaged, it seemed to just fail. It worked FINE through the entire flight, but trying to slow from 250 to 140 KIAS, it ceased to function. Sometimes turning the A/T off & back on again seems to fix the problem. Naturally, this is an extremely difficult problem to contend with when trying to land the aircraft. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas?Chris Catalano

Hi all!Is there any possibility to enter a 4-letter waypoint/intersection into the FMC?I'm planning a route from Moscow (UUEE) to Tyumen (USTR) in Russia and therefore I need the two intersections "USSS" and "AR01".
