I know that Mr. Lunston has been an irritant here for some time. Until today however, he had not violated our policies. That changed with a very provocative post by him in the MSFS forum today. He has now been removed from membership in our forums, and will not be allowed back. I just thought you would like to know.

Hello,its me again.Iam fighting with myself to get the FMC from PMDG working on an external monitor.The best think for the next update would be, when ALL FMC keys would be programable to shortcuts. The problem is: When you are in the kbd mode and press for example STRG+ALT+M for menu, the FMC only recognize the M and writes an M.That means, you have to exit the kbd mode change the menu and enter the kbd mode, make the changes, exit, change menu,...... and so on...If ALL keys from A to Z 1-0 LSK L and LSK R and all Menu keys and last but not least the function keys like KBD mode enable / disable and the +/- key are programmable the problem is no more.That would be great, i…

I have now ended up with another take off with no landing, due to MSFS locking up on me. Symptons are:A windows error "Donk", with no pop up window.Flight sim goes unresonsive, no gfx update, but still has sound.Non of the task bar window buttons can be right clicked.No CTRL-ALT-DEL, no right click task barCan launch any programs.Can't close, quit or otherwise kill FS.I left it running while I typed this message, and it has come back, momentarily, then locked up again, black screen.I can't say it's the 737, but thats all I've been flying this past week or so.Anyone seen this before? Any pointers?

I know your probably sick of this, but one thing I'd really quite like to see is First Officer call-outs? I'm sure they wouldn't be too hard to include (especially compared to the complexity of the systems;)) and I think they really add to the flight. I loved flying the dreamfleet 737-400 in FS2002 and hearing it when ever I seleted Gear Down, of flaps to a certain setting..."Flaps 5"...sort of thing...and I think it would be an awesome feature:P

I watched a few programs on Discovery Wings last night with the 737 in them. Also I read a post here about the FMC auto tuning NAV radios.I was wondering if in the furure PMDG will implement features like this.FANS system would be nice, but I suspect that would need a rewrite of the FS ATC system.From in cockpit videos it seems the real FMC has a lot more to it that the modeled PMDG one. I realise it's a huge system to implement completely. Hi,I'm just lovin the 737NG, it's awesome. I especially enjoy flying at night in the VC, but have found that I have to goto 2D view to arm the speed brake.Is there some way of controlling the speedbrake just in the VC ... ?Thanks guys, looking forward to the PMDG747 ... :D

I was impressed enough with the CD version of the B737 to buy the B1900.I had just received my 'receipt' & I pressed the button that said "press here to complete transaction'. A new page started to load for a couple of seconds & then stalled. It eventually timed out.So I have paid my money but I have no idea how to get my B1900!I emailed PMDG but no one has replied.Can anyone help??!!Peter

Does anyone know how I can get another copy of this? I had a HDD crash and lost everything on my drives. I sent an e-mail to the support address listed on the original mail to try to get another copy somehow but never received a response.Any help would be appreciated, because I've finally upgraded to a rocking new machine and the PMDG777 was one of my favourite things to fly - but alas, it is now lost :-(

Will fuel dumping be a part of the upcoming b747?

I prefer to hand-fly the 737's almost entirely, including manual thrust control. However, it seems like when the throttle lever on my CH Yoke is fully forward, the sim is not reading this as maximum thrust. Calibration is showing the throttle axis reading moving from 0 to 255 with no trouble. I know there is more thrust to be had because I can momentarily increase thrust by pressing F1, but it will move right back to the lower setting as soon as I let off it. This makes the tail end of the climb somewhat problematic since it gets hard to maintain any rate of climb without that extra thrust. Any help?Mark Kuebeler

I have searched the forum and found several threads on the question, but none of them really answered it...When I reach the T/D and the FMC starts its descent I usually get the "overspeed" error and it kicks off vnav, then of course it asks for more drag... As i want to use the FMC for descending when should I start the T/D? 10nm, 20nm early? Is ther a step in flight planning I've missed? I could of sworn I've read somewhere that using the brakes to slow the plane down was a "unprofessional" thing to do....Sorry if this is the same ole question all over again.Paul LedfordN0418NWVA

I have downloaded this new livery (dated 29/7/2004) a couple of times but when I go into game (FS2004) aircraft appears as a blank model. There is no aircraft detail (windows or doors) and there is no livery at all. Anyone else experienced this problem and if so what action do I need to take? I am a newcomer to this so please be gentle.:D

I have been going crazy trying to integrate the reality panel into the 1900. I have the EADI and the ND in place and they enlarge, but the rest of the panel is still unchanged. I understand from the somewhat confusing directions that all I had to do was replace two old cfg files with two new ones and everything would work just fine.Could sosmeone please give me the specs on the new cfg files, like the kb's and the date, and is the ini file an issue? Also, is there anyway I can canabalize the files away from the King Air 350 which works just wonderfully.... Vernon Brown

Hey,i know how to use ILS and VOR on other aircraft (such as the iFDG A320 when using airpack4.zip panel, defualt aircraft etc..)..except when i try to use PMDG with ILS/VOR, i just "can't" do it, noting is displayed on my PFD's (i think thats wat its called).can someone help me, or is there a manual someone could direct me too?

Has anyone else had the problem that after updating with the 800/900 VC upgrade, that the autothrottle switch doesn't move anymore on the 2D cockpit?Just wondering if this was a bug, or if something became corrupted during the update.Kim Simmelink

Ok, I'm using the 800 series no winglets, flying from KMSY to KDTW and about half way there the radio stack locks up, I can't talk with ATC or input my NAV freq's. It will allow me to switch options in the ATC window (viewing the list of airports etc.) I usually fly the 700 series and have never had the issue, is it a known glitch with the 800? PS I've tried the same route 3 times and its happened all 3 timesregards,Paul LedfordN0418NWVA

Why can't you guys make 1 installer for the 600-700 that includes all the updates and one installer for the 800-900 that also includes all the updates? Its a pain installing 4 or 5 exe's to get the 737 up to date! I followed the update directions word for word and now when I add liveries they are messed up!

Anyone else having problems with the 800 paint kit. The 900 works fine but the 800 does not line up properly. When you copy over the full side and line up in the split fuse the top two pieces line up OK but the bottom (3rd) section of the fuse does not line up in the final product even if it is lined up properly in the split fuse. Perhaps someone has a tip on how to line this up properly. thanks,Mark.

I've noticed the panel can cause quite a performance hit. Specifically turning the framerate down to the minimum can almost double your FPS under certain circumstance. Would it be possible for a future release to specify the framerates for the guages individually. Only during take-off will I really see a drastic difference on the right panel. Seems to me it would be really nice if I could set the very right panel to something like 1fps, middle panel to something around 7 and the left around 10. Not sure if the team tried this to see if they could squeeze a little more performance out or not; if not it might be worth a try.How about also releasing a very stripped down pane…
