ive been flying the B737 a lot lately and i noticed that when i have the a/p on and the apr button in it captures the ils (loc) just fine and turns on to it and holds it well, but when it starts to capture the g/s, it stays with it fairly well until the g/s indicator drop below the horizon dot then instead of nosing down it pulls up and throws me way off the g/s, i have to allways shut off the a/p and manually fly it in, which i do anyway but why does it do this?? do i not have something else set up correctly?? or not doing something that i should??thanksciao!Brian S

Hi, Has anyone had the problem of when after touchdown with the pmdg 737 6/7/8/900 It just veers off to the right.....I have my yoke right in the center and it just starts turning to the right on the ground it only happens after landing while on rollout and during the taxi back to the gate It works fine when I begin the flight taxiing to the runway...Anyone know how to fix this? Hello PMDG Team!First, thanks for your wonderful aircraft. I've got a little question. How can I change my panel back to the old 600/700 one after the installation of the 800/900 package? It seems like the most people here in the forum like the new panel more but I really prefer the "old" one, which of course is looking newer and unused, even if it's bit unrealistic. I'd also prefer it for the 737-900. Can it also be applied for this aircraft?Bet regards

Gents, First off i am a huge fan on PMDG.Ok this is very difficult to explain. I dont ever have this problem if I am northern part of north america. I usually fly WestJet routes up in canada so I dont experience this, until I do a charter or something to the states. For example this first happened when flying from Calgary to Vegas. I flew no problem all the way to the BLD VOR. Then all of a sudden I start noticing I am drifting off course. So i go to correct my drift, and I drift even further off course. Yesterday and today I decide to fly Continental 737-700 from IAH to DFW. do my usual 45 minute preflight, log on to vatsim... all the normal stuff I do. Taxi out and line…

I know this is just a little cosmetic issue but I'm wondering why the First class seating was removed in the updated 737-700s??? I actually liked the look of the cabin with that seating arrangement. The updated 600/700 VCs look awesome PMDG.Thanks...

The -600 is without a doubt my favorite in the 737NG family. I'm thinking about buying the 737NG-600/700. Now I remember reading somewhere that a free patch would be released to bring the 600/700 up to the same level as the 800/900 (better looking 2D cockpit, clickable VC and other improvements). Are you still planning on releasing such an update...? I'm only interested in the 737NG-700 and really don't want or need the 800/900 at all. Because of that, it's a shame if I have to buy the 800/900 package just in order to get a 'better' 700, specially if you are still working on a free patch which will do the same! Feels like paying for a patch...If I however you say: no, we will not and never release a patch that will bring the 700 up…

The other day, after programming the FMC while already en route to my destination, I received an "End of Route" message on the FMC, though I can't quite figure out why. I tried several times to reprogram the FMC and could not get it to work. I kept getting weird disconnect messages in the route segments pages and could not connect them. Even though I deleted the destination airport and also the route and legs, I could not successfully reprogram the flight. It kept wanting to put the last leg into the first spot of the new plan, even though I had deleted it.Is there anyway to do a hard reset of the FMC while already in the air? Dear All,May I humbly suggest that before claiming there is a bug or an error in the sim that you spend just a few moments doing a couple of searches of this forum to ensure the issue you have has not already been addressed. The developers, the guys that write the tutorials and many of the highly informed users of PMDG sims spend a lot of time answering questions that have already been answered, sometimes on numerous occassions.There are excellent tutorials and manuals available as well. As one of the guys who answers a few questions I ask that you do this so that we might all better use our time to help all simmers. I know it is often easier to just start a new thread wi…

Hello,I know this has been covered in various posts in terms of what do do - but I still cannot get the clarity I need on the Main panel buttons (specifically the Master Caution etc). Additionally, when in windowed fullscreen, the text on the PFD showing things like a/c in TCAS is very blurred (I can work with it but it is not as clear as I think it should be).specs: ati radeon 9800 pro (128)512 RAMP4 2.5All other panels like the overhead are fine.In these pics, note the Master Caution Button, where one is clear as it used to be prior to the installation of the 800/900 addon.I have done everything except re-install PMDG really, and I am really trying to leave that to last…

(top of page 38 in Regular manual, not FMC manual)It says to set (before takeoff) speed on MCP to v2 + 10. I understand what they mean by v2 which on the FMC says 135kt but what would "+ 10" mean? Does it mean to put 135kt (v2) into the FMC (initial speed) into the FMC and then just add 10 more knt's to it? I'm confused. Anyone who has the manual from the CD version I'm sure would be able to answer my questions.Rgds,Brandon Glass

When I go to enter a route on Jetways I always get the message that the Jetway I choose in invalid. I was wondering if other people get this message too or if it is just me. When I go to enter the route I use the route and airways that MSFS gives me, maybe they aren't the same as in PMDG? Any help would be awesome thank you!Andy

Dear all at PMDG, firstly a big thanks for creating what can only be described as a fantastic package all round....... I am looking foward to you guys doing the 747 I know it will be fantastic...One question I had was, I have just discovered the failures menu and while was on a routine flight decided to engage an engine fault after 30 seconds.... I waited to see if anything happened on the flight deck but it did not... should all the failures come up on the PFD and actually cause specific problems like an engine shutdown etc or do I as the pilot have to instigate that myself....Any help would be most appreciated..Hamish

I travel a great deal as part of my job so when I took a few days vacation off this week, I decided to spend it at home flying my new 737-800 that I am having so much fun with. Hours and hours and I am really starting to learn this airplane. The thing that really impresses me is the detail in the actual aircraft itself. I like to do the Instant Replay at least 4 or 5 times after I land and see if I am getting better or not, handflying the ILS and VFR landings. I decided to leave it in that mode today and pan all around on the outside view , and zoom in really close, on the final approach. The detail is Unbelievable!!! Hi there.First of all I will say thank you PMDG for the great product updates to the 737 series, works great for me.I have done a series of tests on holding patterns, with entries from many different angles, and now this works great! Look at the pict below, earlier the ac would not pick up the holding pattern from this angle, now it does to it very well. Can anyone help me with a standard missed approach procedure for the autopilot?At the moment, when I am too high, or too fast, or can't see the runway or Im off center line, I go missed. I keep runway track, and turn when I am above the initial climb to alt on the chart.The problem i am having is how to get the APP mode off. It's hard to tell if it's on or off, as the light is out when it's on and out when it's off :S. Usuaaly I would have disco'ed the autopilot and had a fight at getting on centerline and GS, before giving up and climbing out straight to go missed.
