I though we could get some previews???My problem is that I like wide-body aircrafts and in the Past with PSS I sometimes didn't go a sleep just for making a real night flight, but with PMDG B737NG that doesn't go anymore, so I need my favorite A/C, the B744!!! :) :(

Should the engines' bleed and apu bleed valves be in operation at the same time? For example, during pushback, the apu is operational and its bleed valve is open, however, so are the engine bleed valves. Should these be opened only after engine start, in order to prevent a dual bleed warning? The same applies for taxiing in when the apu is operational. Whilst taxiing in, can the engine bleed valves be turned off shortly before engine shutdown to prevent a dual bleed warning?I'd appreciate it if someone could clarify the operation of the bleed valves during engine start and shutdown, and when the apu is operational.Thanks. :)

Ok I know that in real life you need both autopilots on to let the airplane do autoland. I however can only get 1 autopilot on at a time. Whenever I try turning both on I get a FMC message about runing the radios. I have NAV 1 with the ILS frequency. Other times if I have 1 autopilot on and I try and turn on the other it will simply switch to the other autopilot. Is there a secret to getting both to turn on?-Ryan

I hope this is OK to post on this forum. I thought it might be because probably alot of the readers use the CH Yokes. My CH LE USB Yoke is about 2 months old and it was starting to develop a "sticking" feeling to it especially in the pitch mode. I would try to pull the nose up a bit and it wouldn't move at first and then it would sort of break free and move too much. I went on the CH website and they had a few new owners of the yoke with the same exact problem. They said to use a non-petroleum based lube since a petroleum based lube might eat the plastic parts. Their recommendation sort of surprised me, because they recommend Tri-Flow. I have been using Tri-Flow for…

Precision International Airways has changes to Premier Airways. We will still fly PMDG aircraft, but we will scale back operations a bit until we build a staff. Premier is going to be a smaller regional airline built for shrt route flights. We will not be for everyone, but there will be a good following. We will no longer count flight hours, but rather quality flight reports through our forum section. We will no longer support other airline service, and will will no longer offer service abroad (Eurpoe). Again, Premier will be a smaller regional airline. We will have many smaller hubs, and a few larger hubs as well. We will be headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio; with…

This is a question to PMDG team.Is it possible to use, in PMDG 737 Virtual Cockpit, the two VORs indipendently ? That is to select a course on VOR1 and another one on VOR2 (each one tuned on a different frequency)? Apparently, if VOR 1 and VOR 2 are tuned on two different frequencies, as it normally happens, VOR 1 selected course and CDI are shown on both Capt and FO's NAV display. As far as I know, selecting NORMAL should split captain's navigation instruments on VHF Nav 1 and FO's instruments on VHF Nav 2, but that seems not to be the case in PMDG 737.Can you please clarify this issue ?Regards Jackson

I am flying from KSFO to KSAN in the 700. Route..RWY28R - EUGEN5 - BSR - J501 - RZS - J126 - LAX - SHAMU1 - SARGS - RWY09 (KSAN)I flew the Eugen5 departure with the MCP and VORs etc. Holding 7000ft until cleared to climb. Apart from the fact the BSR VOR does not have the correct range, FS2004 problem I know, all was ok. I engaged VNAV and the plane accelerated and climbed for cruise. At BIG SUR (BSR) I tried to engage the LNAV, but all I could get was "NOT ON INTERCEPT HEADING" even though I was actually perfectly on the purple line on the plan.I tried flying off to one side and intercept back onto the line and got the same error. Then I tried a direct routing, but it g…

Two questions here on separate issues:1)After making some inflight FMC route changes I had a yellow warning popup on the PFD saying CWS-R. I could not find any reference to this in the manual.2) I try to use reduced thrust takeoff settings when under MTGW but I find that the -700 has a tendency to use A LOT of runway when taking off and so I am trying to find a method to better compute what N1 setting I NEED for a given takeoff.Roger Curtiss

Please help!!! I just purchased what I thought to be the best 737 add on software but after now running throu the intro pdgm flight I keep having some bad probs with the MCP panel and FMC. Basically everything is going ok until during the climb after the manual instructs you to engage auotopilot 1 at 1000 ft and click LNAV then VNAV - this is were I have kittens! - the light comes on on the LNAV after i press it and the light comes on on the VNAV but soon after the stupid thing goes out and the FMC says "VNDISCONTIUED" and the plane wont climb automatically. Can anyone help - Im sick to death of running through the manual only to have this happen again and again :(

I love the noise that the elevator trim makes while it is adjusting. I find that when I load the default flight, most times the trim sound is not there. If I reselect the same aircraft or any other PMDG 737 , it comes back as soon as the aircraft loads. Once I get it back I save the flight, make that flight the new default, and most times when recalling it the sound is gone again. This sometimes happens with the fire alram bell also. Anyone else noticing this and or found a solution?

Hi guys,I just did a full ILS autoland like many I have done successfully, dual channel all the way, disconnect A/T at 40ft.But this time I had a strange one wheeled landing, massive veering, I had to disconnect the A/P and fight the aircraft to stay along the centreline.Once I had time I noticed that the rudder was infact well offset from the centre position, which appears to be the cause of the veering.Currently I have the auto rudder activated in FS2004, so I was suprised that the rudder didnt centre itself on landing, and I have no way of controlling the rudder with my existing joystick. So how did the rudder find itself in this position and not reset?!I have now set a…
