Hello all,I have a quick question to put to anyone with ATI cards.I've heard some people are having issues with the new Catalyst driver and the 737. Could anyone who is using the 737 with a Catalyst driver let me know if they are having any problems.I've just got a new PC and I want to install the driver but I'd like to know if there are any problems to look out for and maybe some tips before I set it all up.Thanks for any help, look forward to hearing from you.Ahmed

Dear PMDG and all painters,I notice that there are a few "fantasy" paint schemes being done, so I was wondering if someone would do a First Choice Air 737-800 or 900 (preferebly the 900, both would be great) :). I know First Choice don't actually operate the 737NG, but its a beautiful livery, and I read in an aviation article recently that First Choice may indeed choose the 737-800 or 900 to replace their B757-200 fleet. First Choice is also the only airline in the UK, and only one of two airlines in Europe to confirm orders for the B7E7, which will replace their B767-300's from 2009.Please, I hope someone will do the paintHere's a few pictures of their colour scheme from…

Dear painters ,Is there a friendly painter who can paint a PMDG 737NG Winglets in the Futura-colours ?Yes , I know 'Futura' is in stroke with my nickname. But we have already the Hapag Lloyd- , NEOS- and Britannia-colours.Why not the Futura ?Another reason for this paint of a Spanish company is that we have a lot of Spanish add-ons (Canary Islands , Baleares and soon Spanish Airports 2004). This paint could be in perfect harmony with the above mentioned beautiful sceneries. To give you an idea :http://www.airliners.net/open.file/597493/L/andhttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/587221/L/May I thank you in advance.Kindest regards ,Tom.

Hey PMDG (and as usual everyone else)I have two questions concerning the FMC and the spoilers:-I realized that there is a radio position update for the LAT/LNG on the pos-page. Since the 737NG hasn't got auto tune (automatic tuning of VOR/DME for position update) how is this possible. Even if I haven't tuned any NAV the position info from the radios is still available. Are there two more hidden nav tuners in the background or is this feature just not simulated in the PMDG737NG?-I am using a Flight Sim Yoke USB and I tried to assign the spoilers to the mixture lever to not to only use full but appropriate speed brake. But whatever I do the spoilers always move to the fully …

I'm having problems getting the right engine started. I've loaded the PMDG "Cold and Dark" flight, and am using Fred Clausen's tutorial to try to learn this aircraft. I'm able to start the left (#2?) engine, but when I turn the knob to GND on the right (#1?) engine, I get no response. No N1 spool-up at all. I saw in the forum where some use Ctrl-Shift-F4 to get fuel flowing, but I think my problem is before that stage. With all due respect to Fred, might I be missing a step? I see there is an "engine start" toggle switch the two knobs with the GND settings. On "Cold and Dark" startup, this switch is toggled to the IGN L position. Should it instead be in the middle,…

I just purchased the 800/900. I have had the 600/700 for almost a year. I have made very minor changes over the course of time. I added stairs to those liveries that didn't have them, and wing views. My question: After I install the 800/900, will I have to add back in my changes to the 600/700?Thanks,John

Hi folks, just check I'm not going mad. Are the Pitch limit indicators on the PFD, only I saw a photo from Airliners.net, showing an Alsakan 700 series, with those little yellow eyebrow markers on the artificial horizon.I believe they are used on takeoff (appearring when flaps extended) to indicate max pitch.BTW I have the 737NG and 800/900 expansion pack.

This is the greatest MSFS airplane ever but,After doing a "Direct To Intercept" to a Final appraoch fix on any ILS and arming and captureing the APP mode, I noticed the Active Waypoint does not change to the next waypoint on the FMC legs page or on the top right corner of the ND. It should be.Intercepting the ILS from LNAV mode works normally and the active waypoint changes to the next waypoint when passed flying an ILS. The active waypoint should change to the next waypoint in sequence once it is passed, but its not in this situation. Can someone confirm this behavior??? I have both new recent updates installed. I also tried it using both the -700 and -800 models with th…

Hi Everybody,I've bought and installed the last version of the 737-800 (1.1 full) but FS9 freezes after a few flights. The first time I run the simulator it goes perfectly, the second time too but then each time I select and confirm any of the PMDG 737 from the aircraft selection menu (either in a new situation or from the default situation) FS Freeze and I need to "CTRL+ALT+CANC"I've tried to uninstall both the add-ons and re-install them but it still freezes, then I followed the instructions on PMDG site (deleting state.cfg, fs9.cfg, reinstalling FS) but there's no way to get it working.Any idea? Thanks in advance.Lorenzo

Hi all!I just wonder about the bumby autolandings. I thougt this would be fixed when this new update came but when I did a testflight today whith a 737-800 I noticed that it's even worse than before, about five to seven bumps before it came to rest on the runway. I have tried different flapsettings, diffrent speedsettings (vref+5 and so on) and I can se the flare. This is the only problem I have with this bird. Before the release of the 800/900, v1.3 of the 600/700 the autolanding where perfect. But since I installed the 800/900 autolandings has been bumpy for all the models. I hope somebody can help me and others whith this problem, it's truly take away the fun in landi…

I am still a newbie to PMDG 737-600 and also just installed more GoFlight stuff. I now have the GF MCP, the GF-T8, and the GF-P8 and plan to get the GF radios next. I am trying to determine in particular if the GF MCP will work properly and accurately with the PMDG bird. I am not entirely clear about how to program for GF hardware with FSUIPC (I have the registered version). I've read some threads in the Search function here and it seems the MCP may not work ever work properly with the PMDG 737. Is that correct or not?Sorry to be a bore on what is probably a well-worn topic by now, but I would appreciate any advice or guidance. Thanks !Jonathan Sacks

Hi all,I was just wondering if there is a 'Dreamliner' livery available for the 737NG range. I am aware of the Air Berlin version, but just wondered if a standard Boeing version would be available for all of the NG range.I think it looks really good as a Boeing corporate livery. :)If not, would anyone be willing to make them ... ?Just a thought,Adam.Edited for link ... :)http://www.newairplane.com/en-US/News/NewColors.htm

Tested the speedbrakes, this time without cutting the trottles manually, A/T and SPD all the way down. I also had speed @ REF +5 = 133, no bounce and perfect deployment, I had not even engaged REV yet here in these shots.. http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/86681.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/86682.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/86683.jpgBest Wishes,[h4]Randy J. Your member profile (http://www.wcm.at/forum/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=4965) on the german FlightXPress.de forums indicates that Aug 4th is your day, so I took the opportunity to send in my congrats. Hope you enjoy an extended and well deserved day off after all the hard & dedicated work that make your products so outstanding! It is well appreciated (Enjoyed flying your 777 back in the Fly! days just as much as nowadays the 737NG in MSFS). Again, all the best wishes from me!Best regards,Jan
