Hello Marcello,The Service Update for the PMDG 737 is not infected.As is the case with any software installation, you should disable your firewall and virus protection during installation. Hi,Before installing the just released 737 update, I renamed my panel.cfg to preserve changes I made to it.I assumed (my mistake!) that the update installer would simply create a new panel.cfg file. It didn't.I got an error mssg at the end of the install saying it couldn't find the panel.cfg file.Long story short, what I did was rename my old panel.cfg file back to "panel.cfg".After doing a couple test flights, everything seems to work fine.What changes did you make to the panel.cfg file?Anything that I should be concerned about not having?Thanks,Bryan

Preston-I replicated the procedure you describe about- and allowed the airplane to sit on the GPU for 70 minutes... No problems noted.Paul also did a test following the normal startup procedure- including hand programming a full route clearance on the FMC...appx time on GPU and APU...30 minutes....Couldn't duplicate the problem you describe....On the other hand- you DID pick up on a small error in the model update... The taxi light was missing from both the 600 2D and the 700 2D... The version currently in the download library is fixed.

Well, I bought the 600/700 today and installed it. It looks good. All went in fine and all works well too.Only thing is that after crashing the plane two or three times during practice, the FS9 screen went black and after spending 1- 2 minutes with a black screen with only the FS9 title bar visible, I got that stupid MS Error Report. Seems therefore as if the sim will not re-set the way it normally does after an accident involving the -600.I don't have this strange issue with any other a/c and wondered if it's something I can fix ?Appreciate any advice, thanks!JS

I am new to this flight sim and the FMC.I have been able to program in a flight from KSEA to KLAX.Was a blast to use this 737NG aircraft.When I took off at KSEA using Econo Climb the aircraft leveled off at FL100 at 250kts. I engaged the LNAV and nothing happened, so my question is how would I normally get the Cruise to work?What I ended up doing is adjust the altitude to FL300 and engage the LNAV and then this beauty flew Cruise. Is this the correct method?

Flew KLAS to KPDX using the MOXEE FIVE Arrival. I gave myself a 15 mile RWEXT. I followed all the procedures as I did successfully in Tim's tutorial coming into Charlotte. However, the ILS approach was off. The "dots" lined up horizontally and vertically but I came in to the right of 28L landing on the grass. Both CMD A and CMD B were active. One note, I ended up at the west end of 28 L due to the angle of the landing. I dialed in the correct runway heading in the MCP course window. Fellow pilots,Here's one I can't seem to figure out today. Not even sure whether it's possible at all but let's give it a shot:On my way to the arriving airport, I'm on heading 130 to VOR ABC. The VOR is located on the field but 10 miles before x-ing I wanna go down wind on a heading of 200. Programming the FMC with ABC310/10, which gives the reference point ABC01 on the FMC. But now I want to program the next waypoint, let's say 10 miles out of ABC01 on a heading of 200. From there to base and finally to the rwy extension point for runway 02.Anyone who can get me on track here?Thanks and regards,Michel

1st when I call atc for taxie they give me RWY #2 instead of 20 do I take off on 20 anyways. An 2nd when I put in the training way point BU 250/10 it show up as BU01 but I don't think it the right one cause it show futher away than 10nm and, I get not enought fuel on the FMC. thanks for any help P.s if I screw this post up it my 1st postDavid

Why isn't the -600 getting any love? :-lol I realize no US airline flies the -600...but not many fly the -700 either except for Southwest, Aloha, Alaska and Continental. Just wondering why the other US repaints were done for the -700 and not the -600. Unless someone has done them and I missed them....or willing to make some :) I mean so much work was put into it yet not many liveries for it :( There has to be some -600 fans out there!BrianRichmond, VA USA

Hello all- When on final as you can see in the picture (this is KSWF, ILS9, no wind) things just aren't lining up and the plane will not go over and follow the localizer. It will start the turn when we are approaching the localizer, (turn on well outside the FAF, NEELY) but turns to far to almost parallel the localizer all the way to the runway. It is almost like it is torn between what is on the display and (the runway or the localizer). I have updated to the latest AIRAC but that doesn't make a difference, (it did it with the old one too). I tried a search of the forum but couldn't find an answer, if I missed it I apoligize. Thanks PMDG for such an excellent…
