Hi people,Is there any airline that used the "show RWY longer then xxx FT.Thats the PMDG option in the styles menu>ND.I gona make an easyjet flight and I wan't to know if they use that option because I've a feeling they do use it.I checked it at airlines.net.And does easyjet airlines use Follow hdg select instead of Winglevel.PMDG style menu>>AFDS

Hey everyone, I just wanted to confirm something for my own sake about REF speeds. It says in the manual to add 1/2 steady wind plus full gust of wind factor to the REF speed. Say I was landing an ILS approach (with 8 kts wind with 10 kts gust) and the approach page says that 30REF is 150 kts, would it then become 30REF+14 because you need to add the wind correction?One thing thats always gotten me confused are the approach speeds. When i am flying with the PMDG, every 5 mins i get a popup from internet explorer. it only happenes with the PMDG's and is very annoying.after a while it happens more often it gets down to about 30secondsis there any way i can stop or get rid of itKind regards, Phil

Hi,I've just installed Marcus Thompson's excellent sound fx program on the 737NG 700(following Timothy Metzinger's appendix to his advanced 737NG tutorial) and, while it works fine in the 2D cockpit version, I cannot get it to work properly on the 2D panel of the VC version. For some reason, only part of the panel loads, that is, no ON lights, no titles, and the panel overall is dark and muddy. The sounds will play, but it has caused FS to crash(once, anyway!). I am wondering if anyone else is using it and can suggest what the problem might be? (Incidentally, I also have Rob Barendregt's groundhandling gauges installed, but I don't think there is a conflict, as the 2D pan…

I am ecstatically happy with the whole range of the 737 NG aircraft but every now and then, and I can't be specific on which version of the aircraft it happens on, the radio panel refuses to appear. Pressing the "R" icon causes absolutely nothing to happen. Neither does Shift + 2 work. I can answer ATC by using the usual keyboard shortcuts by number but am unable to access the radio panel to manually tune any of the radios or navaids or to switch the TAS on either.Any ideas how I can correct this anomaly please? Hi all (Hey Robert, remember me?).I am wondering if a BBJ flightmodel will be offered in the package, since it is the same aircraft as the 737NG, just with, usually, a little bit bigger seats :-).That would be wonderful for us Bizz Jets nuts, and it would only require you guys to make a new flight model with different fuel capacity. I have modified the FFG BBJ's flight model to reflect the BBJ with the maximum 9 auxiliary fuel tanks, since the flight model they provided was the same as the normal 737NG, so the range wasn't there. In order to have the 6,500 nm range I increased fuel capacity and it worked fine.Just today I see FFG has updated their 737NG/BBJ flight model…

I just installed the 800/900 last night (amazing, BTW)In most cases when I try to to select an approach with a transition I recieve program error in the scratchpad. I've also noticed that I often don't see all of the approaches (in this case ILS) for a particular airport.Reference airport in this case is KCVG.Example in my case- looking for the ILS 36R- not there. Only one Cat II or better is listed (36L) all other approaches are either RNAV or cat I ILS. I select the runway I want (36R) adn teh ILS frq appears in the init page. I transfer it to the radios manually.Do I have bad data? Should I replace it with someting else? Where should I get said something else?Thanks,Ti…

Hello,I would like to know if the 747 will have failures, like the 737.If so have you thought about adding failures of the pitot-static system? Every single time I hit the APPROACH button on the MCP of the 737-800/900, my Autothrottle stops working!!!!! This NEVER happened in the 600/700 series. What am I doing wrong? It works PERECTLY until I turn toward the ILS runway & ask the APPR Key to track the glideslope and the localizer. Then, NEARLY EVERY TIME, the plane starts to overspeed. I am usually flying around 170 KTS when I am ready to press the APPR button. Then, when I do, everything goes haywire! I MAKE SURE that the speed button is still checked. The N1 button is not. No matter what I press to try to get it back to working condition again, IT WON'T!! Even if I disconnect the A/T, Disconnect t…

Hey, i just purchased your wonderfull plane, and i must say its awsome! great job!However, when i use autopilot for altitude, it will get to say.. fl20 which its usually set as, and then suddenly it will start to climb again, sometimes even causing a stall. Thanks againRich Scammell-Donatrix

I had to reinstall FS( for other reasons), I had to setup PMDG 737 NG again, but unfortunatly the autothrottle will not arm. After a while the speed drops and the plane stalls.Has this problem occured by other users?Can this be fixed? Please some helpGerrit Suichies

I am ploughing through the docs for the 600/700, but just wondered how this bird performs an autoland. If I set the ILS to Nav 1 and couple the APP function through the AP, will I get an autoland? Or must I engage both autopilots and do anything else? Appreciate advice, thanks!Jonathan

Hello, I'm an amutuer painter. I'm currently painting a 737-700 Fantasy Cargolux. I have run into a delemma. I can't seem to find a good picture of the vertical stablizer so that i can continue with my own tail, i also need a flag that is often found on Cargolux aircraft. Its a blue flag with a circle of stars placed a few feet aft of the cockpit windows. I have downloaded the upgrades named "PMDG_737_800_900_Temp_Update1.zip" and "PMDG_EXPRESS_B1900D_SU1_1.ZIP" for the two packets. Unfortunately, I cannot install them because when I launch the installer, I obtain a window which tell me that I must install the PMDG B737 and the PMDG Beech 1900D before!!! On my last flight I have really disgusting problem with VNAV. My speed and path was OK but I got still VNAV Disconnect message. And everytime when I switch VNAV back on it disconnected...What else could be wrong when speed and path is good? What I do wrong? Or is that some kind of bug?

Hi !I now that this is not a PMDG related problem, but i hope someone of you could helpme anyways.My problem is within Thomas Kwong's Hongkong Chek lap Kok Scenery in FS2004. The Problem is, that there's something from with the altitude.The runway seems to be sone feet above the taxiway, so the aircraft falls down and crashes when leaving runway. Another Problem is that the AI Aircraft's are hanging some feet above the ground.I'm using the Airport Enviroment Package with additional Taxiway and Runway Texture, could that be a cause? I never had problems using Kwongs Scenery in the past, now that i reinstalled it, the error appears.I've no problems on other airports with th…

Hello.For some reason, the landing gear will not retract the regular -700 model, and the -700 w/Airstairs. It will retract on the other models (-700 w/Winglets, and the -800/900s). Any help please? Thank you.David Brown
