    First I wanted to start off and say, outstanding job PMDG on the 737-700 and 600 models inside and out. On another note, will anyone be doing what I like to call, the Green Scheme for the 737-700 or 600 models?     If you check out this site: http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/You type in the departure and arrival airport and it then calculates and gives you waypoint fixes. It will show you the actual names of each fix and the ID name of each fix.....when inputing these waypoint fixes into the FMC RTE page (ROUTE) for the pre-flight process, do you put in the actual name of the fix into the FMC or the ID name of the fix?please let me know.Regards,Brandon Glass

    Since the latest update, I have been able to do the complete flight in V/C view, mainly because of the improved frame-rate, but also because of the almost 100% functionality of the V/C.This now puts PMDG into a galactic realm of realistic fantasy.I am particularly impressed with this feature, which allows the a/c to be flown to one side of the plan vector to reduce trafic conflicts.The question I have is "Which Side and by what distance"??

    Hi there,I installed the latest updates on PMDG i.e. V1.1 for the B737-800/900 and then the "O.M. update. they work OK but I lost the latest EFIS screens that I had before i.e. the VOR/DME in leftest,the TCAS and MAP and middle one etc. Actually, the EFIS looks like B737-600/700 version, before I get B737-800/900. Can you help me getting the lastest EFIS screens back or at least have the choice between the 2 versions?Thanks in advanceRegards/michel

    HiAfter installing the updates i have some questions left1. If i change in the VC the Capt. ND display mode to another the FO ND changes too. Is this a known bug and will it be addressed?2. Arming the spoiler in the VC pressing "shift-/" i can see the leveler moving forward and back. Will this be fixed later?3. LE Device indicator is not working in the VC. Will this be patched?4. Landing lights are switched all at the same time Unlike the real aircraft which has the possiblity to switch retractable landinglights separate from fixed.Thanks for some answersCheers

  7. In the download section for the 737-800 there is a Hapag Lloyd paint, now the photo shows the plane with winglets but when you install it the plane does not have winglets. Is the a problem with the install putting it in the wrong folder? Or does this plane don't have winglets and it's the wrong photo?Joseph Feleppa

    Hi there,Just wondering if it is possible to have a flight plan were you can take off and then land at one airport then take off again (with out reloading a new IFR plan)? so if i wanted to go CNS>BNE then BNE>SYD all in the one plan is that possible. It would be good to get any suggestions to how i go about doing this.Oh by the way guys this program is the best and nothing beats it. I fly every afternoon after work.     Hi guys and Gals...I have owned the CD version of 737-600/700 for quite some time, Yesterday I decided to buy the 800-900, mainly because of the model update for the 600/700, I received the Confirming Email with my link, just 20 secs after confirming the purchase!Once installed ( installation was a breeze!)     After installing the recently released upgrade and model update (in that order) I seem to have lost some sounds. I can't hear any engine sounds, nor can I hear the trim air sounds or standby altimeter clicking in spot, 2D, and VC views. I can hear things like switches moving and seatbelt signs. This happens in both the 700 and 800 models. It also affected the Aeroworx B200, but I haven't tried any default planes.I checked the volume setting on the PMDG menu (normal - full right), and I checked the volume settings in FS9 itself which is normal and has remained unchanged.Anyone have any ideas?Thanks!

    Climbed on a Delta 737-200 today for Minneapolis and had a copy of Flying Magazine and a copy of the 737 tutorial on normal procedures that I printed from the PDF files from the 737-8-9.     I`m trying to follow Geezer Guide - Version 5. I have Airac04/07 installed.When I start working with the FMC, everything is fine until I come to Route pages. Dep/Arr and runway are ok. Then it tells me to go to the next page and that`s when my probles start.It says "Go to the next page and down the right hand side enter the following waypoints in order BU as LSR1,(press LSL1 for BU NDB 374) CC (press LSL1 for CC NDB 286).As soon as I enter BU at LSR1, the whole page fills up.     How do you get a flight plan from the fs default flight planner in to the 737 fmc. Also the file type is incorrect it needs to be converted from .pln to .rte how do you do this? ive been using a third party utility to do this called "pln to rte" this is surely not PMDG advised method. Can it all be done from the cockpit or do you have to leave fs and start dragging and dropping flight plan files in to different locations? I just wonder if i am missing something and doing somthing wrong cos i cant belive this long winded way is the correct one, please PMDG explain how it is supposed to be done? thanks in advanceKavan.

    I'm having a problem getting the right and left gens' online. After engine start I can't get the toggle switch to move therefore no generators. I hear the "click" but the switches don't move. I've tried the 700/800. I've been flying the NG since it's release, this just happened.Edit..     1) I was never able to get spoilers to deploy on landing unless throttle was cut IN THE AIR. Touching down with any sort of power added would not deploy spoilers; even if throttle is brought to idle on the ground. However, after landing while still rolling out, disarming and rearming the spoilers will deploy them instantly. This has been discussed. You cannot add ANY POWER here or in the real world upon touch-down because it will cause the spoilers NOT to deploy and for good reason. I don't have issues here.     I have just purchased the PMDG 737NG and I just learned how to work the FMC but I'm stuck with a few questions here. Anybodys imput on this matter would not go overlooked!Q#1: Where do you find waypoint fixes to input into the FMC as LEGS to make a flight?     Does anybody know how to configure the ATC verbal callsigns to call out the airliner's name (ie. Westjet)? I see that the airliner name (Westjet) is selected in the aircraft configuration panel, but ATC just keeps calling "737".Thanks,Jay

    Question 1: I would like to incorporate a sid in to a default fs flight planner ifr flight plan from the 737 fmc so that the default atc will be able to accept it as part of the plane so that i dont get my ifr flight plan cancelled by atc because i have deviated off course (because i am following the sid) which is of course not recognized as part of the planat the moment it does not seem possible to fly a sid or star and still have default atc cover with the pmdg fmc.Pss got around this problem with their 747/777 by having an export/import from and to the fs default flight planner on one of the fmc pages thus allowing any desired alterations to be made in the fmc and then…

Even the new syntax is great....TURN LEFT/RIGHT DIRECT....But one thing isn't clear to me, I thought you fixed the CI index problem, I only see the Spd is fixed but the OPT./MAX. alt is still a problem. My Max is FL384 and my OPT. is FL388. This isn't correct, is it???
