I flew from Belfast City to Heathrow, simulating a BMI flight, 17:45 departure, 18:45 arrival. Using the standard routings from ais.org.uk.Arriving over liverpool I checked the weather in Heathrow and it was, overcast, low cloud, patchy rain, very low visibility. So I thought I would simulate a bad day at heathrow, crap vis and lots of go arounds/missed approaches, meaning queues and holding. I decided to fly once around every hold! cant seem to turn left or right during pushback after hitting shift +p then 1 or 2 nothing happens just keep on coing straight back, the default planes wor ok but not the 737ng im using fs9 any help would be appreciated. thanks jim mcpherson

Hi all!First of all, great work that 737-800/900 update!!Only I have one question: How can I get the Lower EICAS working? On this forum I saw a couple of screenshots where the lower EICAS was working, but which setting I use, it just won't work. The lower EICAS stays 'cold & dark'. It would be very nice to check the flight controls on the lower EICAS.Regards,Steven

Hi there, Just checked out the latest version of the B737-800/900 update. My goodness the Pitch Limiting Indicators are still missing from the PFD. When are they going to be added? This is not a demand but a request. PLease help as your great product is just missing a little detail to be perfect in my own eyes. My dad who flies the B747-400 is planning to slow down and request for a downgrade to a smaller fleet like the B737-800s soon. I hope to use your B737-800/900s to help himm get acustomed to the new fleet of planes he will be flying soon. I noticed all the posts related to the spoilers.I was re-assigning a couple of yoke buttons to different functions today and I had the throttle quadrant displayed. While checking the limits of the yoke axises I noticed that when rotating the yoke full left (CCW), the spoilers would move from UP to slightly past ARM. When I rotated the yoke full right (CW), nothing happened.Has anyone else experienced this, or if you've not noticed, could you check?Perhaps this could be related to all the spoiler problems. If anyone does experience this, would this be a PMDG or FS9 issue? And, any ideas for a fix?--Jason T. BrooksYuba City, CA, USA

How long can I run LNAV and VNAV for...for example right after takeoff I usually put them both on....is this alright or should I wait a little longer....also when coming in for a landing I ussually bring it in pretty close til doing an ILS approach...should I do this diffrent...?Thank youChad Moore

Since recently installing ActiveSky 2004, strange things have started to happen (most of the time) when flying my NG...1) Cannot engage Autothrottle (switch doesn't respond).2) Some time after take-off speed reads 0 (and shows overspeed!).3) Not long into a flight, FS9 crashes.Are there any PMDG users and ActiveSky 'Proud supporters' who can help....????Thanks,James Stevensonhttp://www.virtualaviation.co.uk

Hi folksI've tried searching (maybe not hard enough) but I haven't come across an answer that solves the problem. Since the the recent updates, I can not get the stairs to work on my -600/700 models. I have key asignments within FS (for the concorde nose visor) but they don't wanna come out and there is no asignment within the PMDG menu to activate them.I assume this is a known problem, otherwise can someone talk me through getting them back.Cheers

I have had the PMDG 737-800 ever since it first came out! I have never Had any off the probs that that lots off poeple where complaining about! But ever since the Latest 800 & 900 Patch came out when ever i fly at Dusk or Dawn as the Light outside the plane changes from Day time to Night the Auto Pilot Panel becomes one solid piece with no buttons or switches!! Never Had any Probs till the Latest Update!! I have updated my ATI drivers and all!!

hey all how do i enable the passenger cabin? i saw onthe flightsim.com review that i have to have active camera 2004. is this true? this is truly disappointing if i have to pay extra money for an already expensive add on that forces me to pay $15 more to see the interior of the cabin. it should automatically be enabled. let me know if my fears are founded if not let me know what i need to do in order to get the passenger cabin to be used so i can walk through it sit in it or whatever i please. It would be truly messed up if i have to pay $15 to see the passenger cabin. let me knwo what the deal is.

Hi, I am using the PMDG 737 expansion, along with the PMDG 800/900 series expansion. I am experiencing a drop out of textures (areas of the screen go black)but then return to normal after a second or so, during all phases of flight, from taxi to landing. It is highly frustrating, as my system does not do this when used with other add-on aircraft. Does anyone have any suggestions; help would be appreciated. Hi All,Since my update to the 800/900 my undocked throttle quadrant on the second monitor dissapears when I switch to the overhead panel on the main monitor.I am using FS9 and I have a two monitor setup, both on the same graphical card (ATI 9800 XT). Sometimes when i tune the nav radios to the ILS freq. of the arrival airport, the ils won't come alive. I'm sure i tuned both radio's on the right freq's and made them active. In the checklist for the B1900D under before engine starting I'mtold to switch on anti ice and beacon and then check anti ice annunciators is illuminated.As far as I can see this is not possible if the battery switch is not turned on. That is next step in the checklist. Also here you are again told to switch on beacon.At takeoff you are supposed to set power levers to 100% torque. Thisis not possible with anti ice on. Does this mean I should switch offanti ice before takeoff?During normal landing I'm told to set 30% torque and set power level to idle. But I need to set the powerlever little over idle to get 30% torque. Which should I do?RegardsJan Friberg

Newbie post, and might sound like a lot of other ones you've seen, but I know how to search and I've made sure to try out the solutions posted earlier, to no avail...I've downloaded all the latest SIDS/STARS from the pmdg web site and have also gotten the airac files from navdata.at... I've verified that everything is installed where it should be (correct folders, all files there) and the cycles match up (0408 for everything) but still I cannot program my FMC. If I load up KJFK for departure I get an "err at FIX in line 113", if I load up KLGA I get an "err at AT in line 47" and it goes on like this, basically for every single airport. Hello flyers,I fly the wonderful B1900 D, and I've installed de JL2 gauges and the weather radar from Reality XP with the integrity utility given by PMDG. It works perfectly.Reality XP makes a summer sale : the Garmin GPS and the Apollo flight line avionics for 45 usd. I saw that PMDG gives the integrator for the Garmin GPS, but is it interesting to have the Apollo flight line too? Hi All,I have a problem with the APU that goes into failure at the moment I put the APU fire control handle in the UP position as described in the checklist. I have this problem since I installed the 800/900 a few days ago. I have the latest versions of both the 600/700 and the 800/900.I am using FS9.Hope anyone has a solution to this problem (instead of just skipping this checklist entry:-) )Regards,Ren

Well, I guess this is a dumb question. I've searched the forum without success. It's been a long time of no simming and I guess I forgot some switch.:-roll Yesterday I did a short flight from KMCO to KMIA and I downloaded the real weather. After takeoff I noticed that the Navigation Display was indicating GS/TAS, but no wind speed or direction.What did I do wrong?Maybe too much aircraft painting instead of flying...:-lol CheersThomas
