Seems the sim is working fine overall, but when I quit, and then later restart the sim, I get "X-Plane crashed on it's last flight" message. Every single time. Anyone know what could be causing this? Also I am noticing that my switches are no longer working - can't click anything in the cockpits of various aircraft.

Hey guys, I´m using x-plane now instead of FSX (giving a try), and i can see that the torque/P-Factor are "too much" in XP (Props Arcrafts). Is it right? How can I compensate this effect or reduce it? I did try without the Yoke, but the left tendency still's there... thanks

Has anyone had trouble with the Carenado C210 crashing X-Plane? I have never had X-Plane to CTD, but using the C210 just a few minutes flight is all I get, before a CTD. None of the other Carenado planes do this. Nice flying plane, but I can't get it to run for more than a few minutes. Thought I wold ask around before contacting Carenado.

How is it modeled? I'm flying the Carenado Bonanza A36 and I'm obviously getting some sort of ice. However, I'm losing manifold pressure too. Why is this happening? I understand carb ice but I've never flown a fuel injected plane. I imagine the ice is blocking something... Do you XPers feel the icing modelling is realistic or is it overdone? In FSX it's underdone imho. Also does prop heat in the Carenado actually do anything? I get a low bus warning when I turn it on. All my failures are set to "Always Working."

Hi all- Been using this for FSX. Just ordered XPX and know I'm going to want to do a few things, but can't seem to figure out where to look... Basically - at the very least, I'm going to want to add building, objects, and trees around the airports with which I'm familiar. Any help/pointers appreciated. thanks, Andrew

While I still use Prepar3D for a number of flights, I was exposed to X-Plane 10 (XPX) by a friend of mine who insisted on me giving it a try on his system, after never liking XP at all due to odd flight dynamics and horrible graphics. Hello dear X-plane 10 users, I am a FSX user currently. Since i read Xplane have 64bit capability with 10.20 patch i am seriously thinking about transfering to X-plane 10. Main problem is i cannot able to find information that i want on the web. I am from Turkey and i would like to see scenery from some airports. There is a video on youtube but airport appears as deserted <_< . Any X-plane 10 user can get screen shots of LTBA, LTAC and screenshots from the cities they belong. My new system will be here in a week or so and as It will be running FSX, Xplane 10 and Prerar3d, all on their own drives, I'm a bit reticent about buying 3 copies of win 7 Pro as dedicated Os's. Yes, I'm a Flight Sim tragic. I have had no experience with Linux systems, to date but I'm considering running XPlane 10 from 1 128 gb SSD using Linux. Firstly, I'm wondering if 128 gb will be sufficient at the end of the day as I intend to develop it with much add-on scenery etc. The second question, is which Linux OS to purchase? I'm just about to open my wallet (notify the media) and buy XPlane 10 64 bit. XPlane's site seems totally bereft of anything resembling 64 bit, that I can find. They have made little reference to 64 bit and I thought this would have been a major feature of the product on the sales page, Nienté. Can anyone tell me for sure, if the currently shipping software contains the 64 bit code. Jon

Have the latest WED and would like to try my hand at scenery , but thought I'd start with something "simple" -_- like modifying my local airport. Questions are: 1) Can I simply make a copy of the X-Plane 10 data and work with it? If so , how do I find the airport I want? 2) I know the mesh signatures are lat/long. How can I find these numbers using Google Earth? 3) How relevant are the instructions etc. found in the various forums? ie : one set I have outlining file structures/layouts etc are for X-Plane 8 and doesn't seem to have been updated. I want to get my first XP10 x64 payware plane. I can't decide if I want something with IFR capabilities or just a VFR. Also for my first plane I'm a little afraid to spend more than $30... If I forget about IFR certified... I'm looking at the blackshape prime. My questions: 1) Is it working with x64 bit? 2) How do the radios tune? I purchased JRollon's jetstream a few days ago an since its already 64-bit compatible I've been enjoying it to the fullest. What a beauty!!! There is one thing that keeps creeping up on me in the middle of the flight, for whatever reason whether its me doing something wrong or its just part of the random equipment malfunction, I keep loosing torque to the left engine and only the left engine and this is in every flight. Weird!! I have always kept an eye in the RPM's (97%), kept Torque around 60-65% and EGT is alway below 620 deg C. Hello guys, I was wondering if anyone with knowledge or experience with C# programming for Xplane could help me out. I have been tasked to program a flight journey on Xplane using visual studio with no user control input as a mini project. Meaning that the plane has to take off do a round trip and then land by means of a C# code. So far I have managed to get the plane (cessna) to take off, maintain a heading and climb to a certain altitude. My problem now is how do I get it to follow a path and then land using C#? I would be very grateful if someone could point me to the right direction on this regard and thank u in advance.

Hi everyone, I've been wanting to purchase the Dream foil Bell 206 and the ND MK117, but one big issue for me. They do look amazing, however are these easier to fly than the default Bell?? I can't even get any control of the default models in any way shape or form. I lowered my sensitivity to 50% and all it does is want to roll left extremely and the overall control is just impossible. That is the only thing that stops me from purchasing any add on helicopters. I have had 100% success in FSX with sensitivity all the way up. Am I missing something here? I have the Saitek X52 system I use for Helis and have no noise going on that I can see. Thanks much in advance …
