I have the following helis for xp10... 1) MBB / Kawasaki BK-117 2) X-Rotors Augusta 3) MD-902 Explorer 4) S-92 Sikorsky I can manage all of the above fairly well...and I am very light on the controls (which are on the far left of sensitivity / realism settings). However, the DF Bell 206 is so loose...it seems to just pitch and roll with extreme exaggeration to almost any input. I had a similar issue with the S-92 Sikorsky until I realized I had loaded XP9 files as opposed to xp10 in the directory. I turned the shadows on at some point back and it was such a hit I turned it off. I just tried the 3d cockpit shadows and Wow what an immersion factor! It came with a small price but worth it. I am still struggling with the sides of some of the smaller buildings flickering and thought it was GPU exhaustion, but I dropped everything way down and still have it. Not sure if it is a driver issue or not. I have a 570 with a driver that was released in the last couple of months. I stopped updating drivers with FSX as I saw no real change. Anyone have this same issue? Bob

could someone get me started with g-plan I have a few small questions. I downloaded all data for x-plane 10 via new plan I put in my first route khqm-olm-ksea. I saved as and opened it and can see the route I made. 1- how and where can I see that this plan is incorperated in the aircraft. 2-can I follow my plane on the map with the existing software? duke

today I replaced all default ai traffic with my payware planes I didn't know this feature existed until today, over a year after my purchase and hundreds of hours logged :lol: The skies and airports are filled (20 max) with payware traffic, you can have the skies filled with twenty 777's if you wish :lol:

Is the 32 bit version still being developed side by side with the 64? They both look the same but was just wondering. I ran it and it looked good and I actually had increases smoothness and frames. I can't explain as rendering options were exactly the same. Bob

DirectX 11 class graphics cards can enhance meshes on the fly, on the GPU via tessellation. We wanted to shift the DSF elevation mesh toward raster data so that we would have the full source raster to feed into the GPU. In this configuration, we can make a low resolution mesh, give the graphics card the full data and say “go to town.” If the graphics card can ‘enhance’ the mesh quality, this solves a problem we have now: there is no rendering setting for mesh complexity. Hi guys, So I was looking through my PC's drives and I found an old copy of the XPX demo from way back. So curiosity got the better of me and I thought I'd take a look and compare. Hello, I just bought Truscenery EFTP and the Carenado Centurion, and wanted to share my happiness with both add-ons. Truscenery does an outstanding work, simply the best out there for X-Plane, and if you don't own one of their masterpieces for some odd reason (like "I don't fly in Finland") you should really consider doing yourself a favour. Is there a way to disable / acknowledge and turn off the langing gear warnings in this heli. When I fly / hover below 300 ft or so, a constant audible warning for landing gears keeps going off...annoying after a while.

Hello all, I've gone a bit crazy and bought 3 addons + x plane in the last few days which is great But I'm confused about one of them and how to assign a command. It's the AS350 chopper which was just released - I'm trying to assign a button to the addon command "trim" so that I don't need to constantly hold the joystick. I've read the manual but it doesn't explain clearly how to do it. I've found the command under "advanced controls", followed by selecting the helicopter, how I can't work out how to assign it to a joystick. It's a huge grid of clickable buttons which is confusing me!! Thanks

I stayed away from that plane because I thought it would kill my fps on my low end system. Back from the 90's I have so much memories of that plane, DTW-MIA runs in real life and a wonderful time with Northwest Virtual Airlines, FS98 I think. So I could not resist to purchase it Saturday. I was right on the performance, but other than that, it's a wonderful add on. After I tuned down my settings it runs smoothly with 25+fps. It is a blast to fly if you don't overstress the old engines and watch out for the limits. I never had so much fun with a tube flying with autopilot off. Hey all, I have given up on FSX quite some time ago due to crashes and generally spending all my time tweaking. I have read a lot and am about to give the demo ago but my question is, will X-Plane 10 do what I want... I'm not an advanced addon user, I just really like to go into a reasonably advanced (I do not need PMDG level though it is nice, but I do like a good amount of complexity), start up the jet, take off, fly and land in nice looking cities. I don't care too much about accurate autogen, as long as the atmosphere is right.
