  4. During my work on some trains for X-Plane, I discovered this cool new feature: I assume that, due to the great success of FSX, X-Plane tried to copy the award winning flying on rails concept. Finally, XP10 is a dignified successor for FSX :clapping: :LMAO: .

I recenlty downloaded the X-Plane demo after being an avid FSX user for many years now. It is pretty good and the graphics are great. The flight model was excellent as well. My major thing I've seen about it is that the landmarks and cities, etc are not true to life as it is (kinda) in FSX. Are there addons you can get that will make it so that say for instance, you fly to San Francisco, CA you are gonna see the Golden Gate Bridge in the correct location with semi accurate landmarks? This is the only thing keeping me from joining the Xplane bandwagon. I know Google.com but I figured I'd ask on here for more informed answers. Thanks and happy flying!

http://store01.prostores.com/servlet/x-planestore/Detail?no=466 I just bought this payware addon and the reviews and ads were not kidding that the Flight Model is amazing....they were right. I can't describe it but this plane simply feels amazingly real while flying, compared to all my other payware. The FBW is unbelievable and better than the A320neo. it even has 2 Taxi Cameras :good: Pics were taken with "NO HDR" http://asn-xp.aerosoft.com/?page_id=185

" a flight model" Peter Hager, Owner of Peter's Aircraft is a Genius, I still haven't flown all my other planes since I bought this 380. Flight Model Plug-In: The plug-in on the A380 was designed by Torsten Liesk for QPAC (QualityPark Aviation Centre, and their livery is included with the Lufthansa aircraft). The plug-in models the full Airbus FBW (Fly-By -Wire) system with built-in protections (pitch, bank, overspeed and alpha). It is also used as part of the FMS settings to get the best FLEX mode, as mentioned earlier. In general with the FBW, the A380 is very easy to fly, but you have to follow your flight-plan tightly. On the climb to your assi…

My favourite flying is GA low and slow so for me scenery looks are important. I've seen some stunning airport work in XP10 but as for scenery outside of airports the mesh seems quite poor - lots of long, straight lines making up the mountains (apart from the New Zealand addon). Are better meshes available or planned? Also have seasonal textures been confirmed as incoming?

The June Release of the 757 will require 10.30 so I guess we will get a Summer Gift from Austin   :yahoo: By Philipp (1 of the 777-757 Devs) "Okay guys, here's the first post showing off some of the 757 stuff that goes beyond textures: http://forums.x-plan...showtopic=67540 To answer a few questions: -There is no possibility for an X-Plane 9 version. The 757 will require X-Plane 10.30, because we need the 64bit luaJIT infrastructure for all operating systems in X-Plane. Otherwise you'd be running into out-of-memory CTDs faster than you can say "757" -From the 777 we learned that you are used to a different texturing standard now, because …

Just updated to 10.21 64 bit and I love it. I do have a problem though. It's these two a.i. aircraft at KSEA. Everytime ATC clears these planes to land I see them approach on final ( as I and other aircraft are waiting for our take off clearence ) then all the sudden they climb and turn only to come back around requesting clearence to land again. Clearence is then granted, and the same thing happens all over again, repeatedly. Everyone is stuck waiting and nobody gets to take off. These two aircraft appear to be a Nasa 747 and a military KC-139 tanker. This always happens, and I get impatient and take off anyway( don't tell the FAA ). Anyway I don't know how to correct it…

This is the word Robert Randazzo used, starting around '24, more than once, during his keynote at FANCON. He was talking about the team behind LR, and how different it is to interact with someone who actually cares about your problems as a developer, or user. This is Robert Randazzo and PMDG, but, even me, that picky / idiot guy in Portugal (where's that for a start?...) that keeps saying this and that ain't good in X-Plane10 (as I would probably think of me if I was Austin or Ben...), even this guy has never missed a reply to any of my emails sent to Austin. I sometimes wonder how he can manage his time and life beyond X-Plane10... Well, Robert, whose words I just ear…

I tried the demo and was pleased to see that X-plane is redy to become a replacement for FSX. Now I'm looking in (Google) to the purschase options, and I see some different prices and 'versions'...but is there any difference? I see a x-plane for € 49,99, a X-plane Europe for €69,99 and a X-plane Global for €79,99 Is there really a difference? I'd like to fly Europe mainly but also some US tracks (West- and Eastcoast).

  21. Hi I am one of long-time FSX users who is close to become a convert. Five months ago I installed Win 8 on a new SSD and reinstalled all my software except – FSX. I simply can't find time and energy for one-week adventure of installing, tweaking, testing etc. I have been away for enough time that I can't even figure out how to use search on this forum so I will take the liberty to ask few simple questions even if they have been answered before: Are Saitek Pro Flight yoke/pedals supported? Does it suffer from the dreadful disappearing joystick bug in Win8 like FSX? Please open Specs of my PC on the left. :blush2: Yes, I know, it sucks, it's 4 years old. Do you thi…
