I get weird reflections (especially at night) in the water. The water will reflect huge bright lights (that are not there) depending on how I am panning my view. This still happens with water reflections turned off. See pic below with water reflections turned off. Hi AVSIM Community! I have a big problem with X-Plane. Recently , i started to play X-Plane again, after a long time playing P3D. So, my problem is: When i am on the ground, the plane pulls to the left, even if i don't press a button. This is annoying, and makes the plane harder to control, Do you have any ideeas on what can cause this? Thanks.

Anyone know why I am getting grey squares where buildings are located in my Orhto4XP scenery just under my aircraft as I pass over? Farther in the distance all the buildings in the scenery are fine until I fly over them and the buildings change to grey squares.

Hello, This might not be the right place to ask. But anyways, I'm trying to convert the wonderful FSDG Seychelles v2 from P3D to XP using FS2Xplane. I'm on XP 11.30beta4. However, I did not have much luck with this. It's working partially, that means Mahe and Praslin works in regards of the islands being there and certain airport objects, custom runway etc. And also some custom autogen buildings. But the photoscenery is not working at all, and most of the scenery looks broken. Can include a few screenshots if needed. Does anyone have any bright ideas?

I am trying to connect Plan-G to X-Plane 11.26 across 2 networked PCs via XPUIPC.but XPUIPC in X-plane tells me "no IP client connected". X-Plane is on 192.168.1.3 and Plan-G and XPWideClient on 168.192.1.2 The full XPUIPC folder is in X-plane 11/Resources/plugins and XPUIPC.ini has "server address=192.168.1.3" & "XPUIPC2XPUIPC Client mode = NO" XPwideclient on 192.168.1.2 "[Network Settings] IP Address of THIS PC = 192.168.1.2 IP Address of server = 192.168.1.3" Can anyone offer helpful suggestions why X-Plane is saying no IPClients connected?

Hi I have DHM turned off in X-plane, but the Bell 407 seems to have DHM regardless of my settings in XP. How can I turn this head movement off for the Bell 407?

Is there any way to disable cockpit shadows completely and set instrument panel at constant brightness level (without dimming and brightening if I change heading).

Several minutes after starting X-Plane my computer shuts down, the time between start and shut down is varied between 4 and 10 minutes. The problem started around the time I upgraded my Graphics card from R9 380 to Nvidia 1070 Ti to improve frame rate. I have spent a very long time trying to get to the root of this problem. I have removed all plug ins bar essentials, I have tried many different settings, different aircraft, different joystick. I have reinstalled X-Plane, I have reinstalled X-Plane on another hard drive, and finally have reinstalled X-Plane to a SSD drive. None of these things have fixed or altered the problem. Hello fliers, I have decided to buy and download xp 11. Instructions say it is best to download to the desktop. I have a dedicated drive I won't to install the sim on so would it be safe to direct the download to that drive? Anyone had any trouble downloading sim to a dedicated drive? thanks

I have been waiting for further updates to xEnviro or ActiveSky to hit the market. In the meantime, i am mainly looking for "good" sky textures / clouds that extend to the horizon...without me having to load many 3rd party utilities (like FywithLua etc) to run. So mainly something that I can download, install, and get up in the air. Can anyone confirm that Ultra Weather XP can draw clouds to the horizon (if the weather calls for it)? and something that is pretty straightforward to get up and running?

Hi guys, I am now fed up with the fiddling in P3D and want to additionally get XP. So, what do you say are the must have addons for a noob? What I want to do: Fly modern airliners. A350, 787, maybe 777, or even the 737 with Zibo. What I need: Weather, Camera Addon (?), Ortho4XP for scenery. What would you recommend otherwise? I don't want to spend a fortune to start with, but I am willing to pay for a good wether addon and a good aircraft. Thanks in advance!

I'am on a flight from CYYZ-CYVR using X-Plane 11 I have the X-Plane weather set to "Match real World conditions" with a refresh time set at 15minutes I started at FL 340 and now at FL380 the wind has been 241 @ 55kts for almost the whole flight no change in direction & speed and I know in the real world this would not be the case. I still use FS2004 on my other computer (have done so for years) and use ActiveSky and I know that the wind speed & directions do change with altitude. The layer properties are showing 34000 ft. I change to manual and changed the wind speed & direction but after a few minutes it reverted back to 241 @ 55kts. My ground speed is 399…

Hi all, I'm relatively new to xplane10 and having difficulty installing the x737FMC by Javier Cortes onto my x737. Namely, I'm not putting the folder in the correct place as when I go in search of the activation key located in 'plugins', there is no option for the x737FMC. I've clicked and dragged the folder into multiple files, alas this trial and error approach hasn't worked for me. I have: Unzipped the x737FMC From this folder, installed the required xplanes 10 files for mac I hope I am clear in what I have said, any help would be greatly appreciated! (you may have to explain things in layman's terms) Happy Landings!

I hope that I am in the right spot and won't irritate to many old timers to much, LOL. I just got into flight siming a few months ago, and started on a Toshiba laptop. I knew that it wouldn't be very powerful but planned to eventually build a gaming pc so just put up with slow frame rates, and dull graphics, 18 to apx 30 fps and have really had fun flying around Idaho and Alaska in the back country. Bush pilot flying is my favorite kind of flying. I purchased the soulmade DHC-2 Beaver and absolutely love it, and it worked flawlessly on the laptop. Hi, I'm purchasing a new strong computer to set up X-Plane for first time, I was previously using FSX for years with 3 monitors, but now want to move to X-Plane but was just wondering is using 3 monitors with X-Plane do-able? I would think so but just curious if anyone had any input. Thanks.

With my main Ortho4XP drive full of tiles, I'd like to use a second hard drive in conjunction. What would be the easiest way to do this? (I don't want to span the drives). I tried to simply put another copy of Ortho4XP on the second drive, but I'm getting some error messages in the DOS shell window. (I can post them later). Can my main Ortho program point to multiple hard drive locations?
