I have problem I've never had before. I have a CH Products yoke and for some reason the throttle lever has become disconnected from the FFA320 throttles or FADEC. The yoke is mapped and calibrated properly and all appears to be in order. It is connected to throttles in all of the other aircraft in X-plane. I have made several flights in the FFA320 and the throttles worked exactly as they should have. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Jeff Callender

Refuge from fsx pmdg. I Cant set N1 full power or reductions which means I cant set V speeds. GW well within limits. Runway and SID set. Any help out there? TIA

I was wondering if everyone is seeing what I am seeing. 1. Water reflections turning on and off and on and off all the time (like twice a second). This isn't always the case but very often, 2. Water reflections being detached from the shore or looking out of place. Happens sometimes. 3. Water reflections being very bright of color from a great distance. I've only seen that a few times though. Number 1 is quite annoying when you are flying close to water all the time. :wink:

I have notice something strange when starting X-plane 11 after updating to windows 10 version 1809. It appears to load / run "TWO" copies of X-plane 11.25 instead of just one. Anyone else notice this same problem? Terry

Refuge from FSX. I note that X-Plane strongly advise to download and install the sim to the desktop but I have a large secondary drive waiting for it. Can i just copy and paste the desktop folder there? TIA

hi although I have deleted A1 aircraft in the aircraft config page I still have a large showing of aircraft on entering the airport, WHY? I need an empty airport for Xlife. Can any one help please john reynolds

This being an update of XP11, and not really the announcement of XP12, I can't really figure out how they could feed in so many features and updates ! And there's still Vulkan to come…. Kudos to LR ! In X-Plane 11, is it possible to select a new flight anywhere in the world by first going to the map mode? I have been able to only go to maps that are within the area of a known/last flight. This means that I cannot start in Europe and then select a location say in Canada if I do not know what the name of the city is or the airport identifier. I cannot seem to type in a country or even a geographical are to start looking for a potential flight. As far as I can see, you must already have a name or some sort of ID to bring up a potential map of the area you wish to fly in. Terry

Recently started investigating the use of X-plane 11's plugins and custom scenery and I have two unrelated questions. First my aircraft of choice is the Flight Factor A320 Ultimate. Through X-plane.org I have selected plugin downloads to download and install - Question - I know that plugins are to be inserted into Resources\plugins folder but I seem to have two possible destinations for that criteria eg. E:\xplane 11\X-Plane 11\Resources\plugins and also in E;\xplane11\X-Plane 11\ Aircraft\Extra Aircraft\FF-A320Ultimate\Resources\plugins\ In the latter is only CEF in the first option is my selected plugins - What adds to the confusion is when I load the FFA320 and …

I have been making and flying Ortho4XP tiles exclusively in recent months and one thing I really wanted to do is to remove those ugly roads and ground/yard/driveway texture from autogen houses. Doing so will let ortho roads and ground textures show up as much as possible without losing any autogens and road traffic, light posts etc. Now finally I was able to do this and results look incredible. Hi: I have perhaps a unique way of enjoying my flight simulation...I like to fly around airports; Not between airports, but around them, doing touch and go's, approaches, etc...I would appreciate anyone's opinions on which simulator, X-Plane or P3d has the best, most realistic scenery airport addons, both payware and player made...I plan to upgrade to one or the other simulators soon, and want to make the buy that would be most enjoyable for me...Again; not interested in add-on textures, mesh and so on...Just airports! Hi; I have been flying with MS FX for long time. A few days ago, when i was looking for an alternative I have seen X-Plane 11 and I installed it. It has got very good graphics but it disappointed me a lot. I use logitech Extreme joystick. It works very well. I checked all sliders in calibration options. Also there is no problem with cessna. As you know it has got b737-800 in default. When I use rudder, it extremely rolls the plane as if i move ailerons. To be able to use rudder, I have turn aileron in opposite side, even it is not very effective. This experience is too much far away from Microsoft Flight Simulator. How come? Is anything wrong with my conf…

Just purchased XPlane 11 and downloaded several Carenado/Alabeo aircraft that are supposed to be compatible with that version. Once in awhile, in the exterior view, I am finding the pilot and co-pilot figures sticking halfway out the bottom of the aircraft (as if they are sitting on the ground with their torsos still in the airplane. Any reason this is happening? Also, on some of the aircraft, the interior view of the instrument panel is partially blocked by the pilot's head, as if the POV is withing the pilot's eyes. This happens on both Carenado and Just Flight Pipers in XPlane 11 versions. Anyway to only show the pilots in exterior views and not interior views. …

Hi there, New to avsim, but not new to X-Plane (using it since XP8). And now ... to something completely different: I would like to present my scenery project with a few pictures and a short video. I plan to release it in fall this year (freeware).

Okay, here goes. I have been an Avid Flight Simmer since Sub Logic's FSII in 1984 on a PC Jr. I just completed my 1st flight in VR and, I am honestly, still shaking from the experience. I used the default Cessna 172 with REP and flew a circuit around Meigs Field with the recently released ORBX scenery. At first I was a little under whelmed with the sharpness and clarity of the scenery, compared to how it looks with out VR. But, as soon as I started looking around the cockpit and gave it a little throttle and started moving that all changed. Can down-loadable scenery and planes labeled for X-Plane 11 be used in X-Plane 10? Are they backwards compatible? Thanks...

Hello, I have installed the X-plane 11 demo to see if this is a package I want to use besides my Prepar3d. So I'm new to the simulator. I notice a very low frame rate (around 14 fps) and it tried to lower the settings but actually it does not seem to have any influence (it Always rewmains around the same fps). I think my PC is up to spec (i7 5820K, 16GB memory, GTX980). Am I overlooking something. I'm puzzled because none of the changes I make seem to have any problem. I want to make sure I can fly properly before I purchase the package. Thanks, Paul.
