Does anyone know a good source for ultralights that work in Xp-11, payware or freeware? In P3d I have an ultralight trike I created in FSDS2. I am looking for something similar in performance, with about a 45-63 mph cruise speed, 5 gallon tank, matching the part 103 specs here in the US. John

The instrument guages and panel with the Alabeo PA 38 Tomahawk in x Plane 11 are so dark they are imposible to read. How can I lighten up the cockpit and instrument panels please? Thanks Chipmunkman

Not sure if I'm doing this right and got my wires crossed but here's my question. I'm using the Carenado Piper Malibu Mirage and when I advance the throttles for takeoff the prop rpm advances too even though the prop lever is already full forward and maxed. The prop rpm instrument shows a low rpm even with the lever maxed unless I move the throttles forward. When I'm in the air and throttle back to a low MP setting the prop rpm will also drop automatically. Are the throttles and prop coupled or tied in together somehow...does the throttle affect the prop rpm? Hi, i got a problem for a couple of days now...i have done this before...but when u are over 45, memory starts to poor out :P First i got "Nvcompress.exe has stopped working, (downloaded NVTools "DDS Utilities" kit, and renamed Nvdxt.exe to Nvcompress.exe...that worked... After i have completed the Batch build, it shows NO errors..nothing..but when i open ..\texture directory, its only *.png files...not a single DDS file...and ofcourse error when i start up X-Plane 11. F Feeling like a challenge, I attempted to fly the X-Plane 11 Stinson L5 off of KMYR Myrtle Beach airport on a perfectly calm July 30, 2018. After a veer off into the grass, I was airborne. Hi I'm a learner user of P3D, but before that I bought x-plane and stopped using it because I didn't like the fact that it gives pretty rubbish ATC. at least on P3Dv4 it gets me through my flight plan (even though I know its not great there, too). I would like to see if Xplane does have addons for good AI traffic, like Ultimate Traffic Live for P3D, and a good ATC, like maybe ProATC - both for xplane? I have seen X-life, and it sounds like the type of thing I'm looking for, but it says only for x-plane 10, not 11. Any advice for some good products to do this would be good! Thanks, Gaz

I have only used a Windows PCs for X-Plane 10 and now 11. I have heard professional video editors like the Mac for it's image quality. Besides costing a bunch more to buy, does X-Plane 11 run better on the Mac or PC? Also with the updated Vulcan coding to be released in the future, would a Mac be able to take advantage of it? Terry

I think Laminar Research should add more planes to X-Plane 10 Mobile. For example, a DC-10 and the A380. They should also make more planes free. Upvote if you agree.

I find I am getting a CTD in the exact same spot, eastbound and westbound, as I fly a route from Napa to Las Vegas, roughly 20 miles past Yosemite. I can fly other routes just fine, for hours upon hours. Im wondering if anyone else has this problem. It just developed the other day and involves all aircraft. Whenever X Plane starts, the forward 3D panel is not there. When I switch to the outside view, then back, it returns. Haven't really done anything to change it. Any ideas? John in Indiana

I was surprised to see another Xplane update when I fired up the sim the other day. The completion of Las Vegas and the new, realistic Chicago skyline are excellent, I enjoyed and recorded a flight in the Cessna from Meigs to O'Hare, a flight I flew often in Sublogic's FS2 on my Commodore 64 more than 30 years ago. Wow, how have sims come such a long way since then, flying past a realistic looking Willis tower as opposed to the old wireframe model in FS2. I've realized that several custom aircraft have the issue that their technical settings (CDU etc.) are not saved when you save the flight in whatever situation. Apparently this is due to X-Plane not saving custom datarefs - only datarefs for default aircraft. This makes it impossible to save a flight say before landing - in order to attempt it multiple times - which really gives a bitter taste to some of the great custom aircraft out there. Is this a fixable issue - or is it at least acknowledged by Laminar?
