Hello all. I just had the task of re-entering all my X-Plane 11 keys and joystick bindings, following a crash with the beta. While doing this, I wondered if there was an easy way to print out what keys and joystick axes/buttons had been assigned to what? Seems to me this would be a good feature to have, if one could print these to an easily read file, so that one could re-enter things as before. This may be in the manual, but wonder if anyone had similar experience and could weigh in? Thanks.

Hi guys, My current install won't start...all I get are a few black boxes that quickly appear and disappear. I usually have the latest beta installed but I tried "rolling back" by using the updater with the "download public betas" box unchecked and I still get the same problem. Any ideas? Here is my current log.txt file. To be honest, I read it over and can't find where the problem might be due to my own lack of knowledge. Hi Flyers, I am about to upgrade my old iMac to a new one, and so I am addressing the possibility of moving to X Plane 11, and running it in OSX. Has anyone done this and are they willing to share their experience and opinions? I am currently an FSX user, and I have a windows PC for that alone. I am very keen to get rid of both, but I have some specific requirements that may preclude this, or at least set a direction. Firstly, I am a VFR Piper Warrior II flyer in Victoria, Australia, and I use FSX with Plan G and Active sky Next to plan and rehearse my flights. I also like to rehearse ATC calls when possible, but this is rare these days…

With the advent of the Orbx GB scenery, a couple of items in 'scenery.ini' must be positioned correctly for the scenery to work. Thought I had this one settled but it's back to the drawing board time. Using the various scenery levels recommendations, I've carefully adjusted my scenery.ini to comply and 'saved'. It seems after the sim has been loaded a few times the scenery.ini gets rearranged to alphabetical order - similar to Custom Scenery. I've tried 'xorganizer' and no joy with that so since it's obvious I'm doing something bad - need guidance.

Guys, Does anyone know how to get Autogate up and running in X-Plane 11. I have the plugin installed. They say you need planes and airports to support this plugin. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Hi guys I mostly fly out of Texas. Hobby airport is my choice of arrivals and departures since it is essentially my home base. But I'm getting RW12 missing data crashes at Hobby and at San Antonio. The one at Hobby is fatal, the other only seems to affect the fms. These are major and active airports. Is there a fix for this ? https://imgur.com/a/Ij0DMqQ

Please advise what good quallity scenery upgrades covering the Scottish countryside are available for Xplane 11. I am confused by the different systems such as Ortho XP4 and others that seem to be available for other countries and the advantages and disadvantages of each system. I am using x-plane 11.2 and my 6 FIP stopped working I can see them on but nothing is moving to indicate speed , Alt ... etc . I checked my windows defender , firewall nothing is blocking it and I do not have an antivirus running on this machine it used to work with saitek FIPDSMplugin perfect but today doesn’t want to respond I restarted , removed and reinstalled still the same is that program not working g with the FIP anymore if so what to use many thanks amr guindy

On both the default Cessna and the Cirrus, if Im trying to taxi around and Im using rudder to turn the nosewheel, the differential brakes will get applied and it stops the plane from moving so I have to full throttle and get moving and then make a hard turn. Im using a joystick and the twist is only set to 'yaw' - no mention of toe brakes but it does it anyway. can it be stopped? am I using the wrong settings?

Hi All getting frustrated and dont seem to find a solution. I run 4 screens from 2 display cards and have arranged them 3 at the bottom in n row for a wide view in x-plane the top (4th) screen is my main Windows screen and used for other non x-plane goodies when I click on plugins and select ANYTHING, it pops up on screen no2 ( in the middle - bottom ) and also my "main" x-plane screen where I find the menus and from where it starts up initially BUT the windows is not "active" i.e. can not click any button on it, neither close it again (default x-plane map as an e.g. is ok, as it pops up on screen no 1 - bottom left if I disable the 1st & …

Hey guys I'm planning to get the airports on the list now that they are on sale over at the X-Plane.org store and wanted to ask for your advice if any of the airports on the list is a truly bad choice. After doing lots of reading I hope all of them should be good choices.

It seems with pb6, as soon as I switch to full screen 5760 mode.. any pop up boxes that require keyboard or mouse can't be brought to focus. I tried everything. Example would be xcamera window or atc etc If I switch back to single full screen it all works Anyone else having this issue? Thanks

hi Guys! I am brand new to the Avsim community. I have been through all the incarnations of FS. I'm currently still throttling about with FS9 (2004) I recently purchased XPlane11 and I'm still sitting on the runway,props turning and going nowhere slowly; very frustrated. i have read through many excellent articles on the forum and realise that it's probably something to do with the B key.I also don't know how to switch to"spot plane" view.My software has been updated to 11.25,my joystick is calibrated. Any help and tips for roookies would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for such a fantastic website.

Noticed how there's an ongoing sale over at simMarket where all JUSTSIM airports are currently 20% off and figured it might be a good opportunity to get some of them. Haven't had any payware airports for XP until recently when I bought EDDF and LSZH from Aerosoft. Very happy with both of them but would like to get some more high-quality payware airports for XP. I do all my flying in the Zibo 737 so needs to be airports that can handle a 737 and I also do all my flying in Europe meaning I'm only interested in European airports. I am trying to use the GTN750 with the Caranado PC12 and a flight plan from SkyVector But the nav data, departures and arrivals, shown on the 750 don't match the real world routes from SkyVector Normally I have been using AeroSoft Nav Data Pro to update X-Plane 11 to the current datasets but this doesn't appear to work with the GTN750 Is there a way to do that? Thanks

I recently installed the XP-Realistic GTN 750. Since doing so, two windows appear when I bring up the XP Realistic Pro Window. There is a larger window and a smaller one....the smaller one is the window where you can actually make changes. Suggestions are welcome.
