Great info about tailwheel ground-looping! This video just convinced me to never buy a tailwheel AC!

Interested in creating a "clean" copy of X-Plane on another disc for benchmarking purposes as I am planning on doing a number of system upgrades and some overclocking. I tried to install just the demo but it wants to install the full version, but I don't have a activation number as I (unfortunately) purchased the Steam version. Anyone know how I can install a second version of X-Plane via Steam? Thanks.

Hi There's one thing I really don't like, which is creating and entering flight plans. I rely on the list in SIMbrief.com to create those for me, but there is no standardised specification which would be good for aircraft. Can anyone tell me if there is any way to create and import a plan for the some airliners in x-plane. I'm really interested in the Airbus Ultimate. In other words, can I have something that creates and imports the plans for a flight on an Airbus Ultimate? Thanks, Gaz

Hey folks - I know this is not 100% XP related, but for anyone who has WT3 is there any way to generate ground routes outside of the sim? I figure that way I can build them while im not flying instead of waiting sometimes 10-20 minutes for them.

Hello, quick 2 questions from a newbie who is exploring X-Plane demo version (only hours into it). 1. is there a weather add-on that will allow to set up custom weather like this: good weather at my origination and progressively worsening (overcast, cloud layers, etc) weather at my destination. If "progressive" is too much to ask for - just bad weather within certain radius from destination airport. 2. I did not see any place where I could map my joystick buttons - for example I would like to have elevator trim mapped to what is now cockpit panning.

I am not getting any autobrake on landing with the IXEG 737 and XP 11. I know autobraking was a bug in earlier betas, but I thought it was fixed at beta 3. I'm using PB6. Is anyone else having this problem? I set autobrake to 3, retard throttle and land, but no braking.

Hi, The 11.30 change log says: "panel res bumped to 4K" I'm wondering if default AC panels have been bumped to 4K. I ask because I rarely fly default AC.

I like to keep all my Xplane11 settings maxed but not having a system with a lot of RAM every ten hours of flight or so I would get a crash, usually on replay. So I recently decided to lower my resolution from my monitor's max 1080p to 720p and performance has improved significantly on top of the 11.30 improvements, with no more ten hour CTD's or stutters. One has to compromise slightly to enjoy the other graphics settings at their max, like AA, etc. My fps improved and fluidity greatly improved. Those with high end system my advice is "Take No Prisoners" but those with mid range or lower end systems who still want to enjoy beautiful aircraft, add on and default scene…

This has been posted before but buried in a thread I stumbled on by accident. In many Xplane11 aircraft, especially GA, one can move around the cabin to certain views, like wing views, or one can move around in spot view for various exterior views. These views can be saved to Numpad shortcuts per each aicraft you enjoyed and assigned to one of five numeric keys, so you can save up to five of a combination of interior or exterior views in two steps. So I've been putting a lot of hours into FSX:SE and also got into VATSIM with the Aerosoft CRJ-700 and I must say it's one of my favorite addons for any flight sim, along with the MJC Q400, FF757v2 (XP11), and PMDG aircraft of course. But I want a CRJ-200 in my collection! So how does the Jrollon CRJ-200 compare with the Aerosoft CRJ's? Does it have as good systems modeling as the Aerosoft? Is it worth 50 bucks? Would I enjoy it on VATSIM? I found mixed reviews on it, so hopefully someone can fill me in on how it compares in quality?

Someone has built a plane for X Plane 11. I saw the videos on Youtube. Granted, the plane needs major work, it is a start. I am hoping major developers would see this plane, and perfect it.

I am flying the Scenery -Copper Canyon Lots of small airstrips which I can see and find with my X Plane Map However putting in the appropriate coordinates to GTN 750 does not mate up to the airstrips Is there something I could do? xxd09
