What are the basic 'must have' plugins for XP if I wanted to evaluate it? Things move along pretty quickly and I have seen older videos. Looking for more up to date opinions. I have: Zibo AS XP Better Pushback Is there a shader utility which gets rid of the awful brown haze? Anything else I should install to get the best out of it? cheers

Is X-Plane 11 payware autogen scenery better than what is in program? Example:A-Plane's payware for GA/FL autogen scenery is $16.99. Is it noticeably better?

The menus in WT3 are unusable for me on a 4k screen, far too small. How do you get them bigger?

In FSX/P3Dv4, I am able to separate cockpit & ambient sounds from ATC Comms. Can the same be accomplished in XP11; specifically, for PilotEdge?

I'm on XP11.32. The default Cessna got some new effects with 11.30 including an engine smoke effect which i believe is causing me a problem. My sky and clouds tend to flash/flicker and have odd colors from time to time. if I look at the world in external view, everything looks fine. Even if I look at things through the side windows it all looks fine (no flickering or odd colors). its only when looking through the front windscreen and so Im assuming its the added engine smoke effect or maybe some other effect that was recently added. Hello, (sorry for my English) I use the Air Manager, mainly to have the G-530 on a touch tablet. The Air Manager G530 overlay runs smoothly, but when I drag the map window from XP11 to G530, the number of fps drops by 15-20. How to deal with it ??? The problem is definitely not on the Air Manager side, because I have the same drop in fps when I drag the map from XP to the tablet screen. (I have a good computer: i78700K (4.4 GHz); GTX 1080 Ti, 32 RAM)

Hi All, The 767 set file I have (called 767-300ER.set) does not work with the 767 (it used to do so, a few updates ago). Does anyone know of a set and a link to download that works with the latest 767 update please ? Thanks Carl

I want to learn to fly using a flight simulator. I have the x56 Rhino HOTAS stick and throttle given to me as a gift. I learned that both X Plane 11 and X Plane 10 are supported by Logitech as working with X Plane. I tried the X Plane 11 demo but the GPU on my fairly robust system is not up to the task. However X Plane 10 works with lower rendering levels. Is there anyone out there that could give me some guidance regarding using X Plane 10 and the x56. I have manuals for both. Any users out there have Forkboy's "New England" ortho scenery package installed? I was wondering if you could take a look at a certain area to see if my install got borked somehow, or if my problem is in fact inherent to the scenery files. If you have this scenery, could you fire up a quick flight out of KFSO to see if you're looking at default textures, or orthophoto scenery? I'm getting default even though it should be within the coverage area. Slightly to the east of that airport I do see ortho, so I think I'm in the ballpark. I'm not sure if it's missing in the package itself, or if the processing work needed to convert JPG to DDS somehow went flakey in tha…

Hi I have installed Linux Mint and I am now trying to use WED, but when I double-click the program, it does not do anything, literally nothing is happening with it

I recently installed a 1080ti in my system replacing a 980ti. I know with P3D that required deleting shaders etc. I didn't make any bechmark for the 980ti so cant make any objective comparison but it sure looks like the performance of XP11 took a hit with the upgrade. So are there some maintenance steps I should be taking with XP11 when changing the GPU in system?

From reading the bug fixes it looked like they improved performance related to AI. I took a nice flight after installing the 11.32R2 beta and I found smoothness has improved where I used to from time to time get minor stutters with AI in the vicinity, now that is gone. I flew my usual beta test route, from SFO to Reno over my photoreal Ortho scenery. It has a variety of scenery and some freeware airport features, like the SFO freeware scenery which is excellent if one has not already installed it. I have several freeware airports from Socal, Nocal and Arizona and Albuquerque. John

After loading and opening screen, any selected couds are based at ground level and surrounding the plane like fog. Adjusting the bases upward provides a small amount of breathing room but not much. Had this once before and fixed it but memory does not serve. Using v11.30 and Xvision.
