I gave the Air Manager demo a try. Its running on my laptop attached to a small monitor I have set up over my yoke. The instruments are really beautiful and fluid. But it had me thinking, and a bit disoriented. It seems that the more instrumentation I take out of the cockpit and make stationary on my desktop, the more moving around inside the 3D cockpit via TrackIR becomes, well, weird. Know what I mean? It's as if I've hit the flightsim "singularity" where I either have to put the instruments "back" in the 3d cockpit or consider adding more computers, side views, more copies of XP and make it so everything stays nailed down and only my head moves. Does that make any sens…

The touch screen is 100% operation in VR mode! If you struggle with knobs etc this can be an alternative.

Anyone know of an app for Win 7 that will read and display temps for GPU and CPU on X-p 11 flight screen? GPU is MSI GTX 1060 6GB, CPU is i5-6600. Thanks

Loaded up real weather at Manchester Barton EGCB today (weather too bad to really fly from there today) and could barely taxy down the airfield. Default 172 kept trying to swap ends. After run ups I lined up using proper grass field procedure with the yoke all the way back to reduce pressure on the nose wheel and prop strike risk. Opened the throttle and the thing was pitching up almost immediately and it wasn't THAT windy! I'm assuming I'm not the only one who thinks it is still a joke. It's even mentioned in the active sky manual that there are inherent serious problems with ground handling and wind on the ground with options in active sky to mitigate the crosswind…

The display window on the Multi Panel has stopped showing any information. Any advise on drivers and\or software would really be appreciated. It was working until I got a new PC with Windows 10. Thanks a lot,

I've tried multiple times and still no luck. It seems like it is having issues copying the files into my scenery folder. I've downloaded loads of scenery in the past and have never had this issue. So far I have tried disabling antivirus and downloading on another browser. Really sucks because it is an excellent scenery from what I hear. I'm running Windows 10 and get the error code 0*80004005

Hello guys! I need to know how to update Airac 1904 RXP GNS530 for X-Plane 10.51. This is a old simulator and i cant to change it to X-Plane 11. Heya guys just wondering if anyone has had bad micro stuttering in Xplane 11 and fixed it? If so what did you do, Ive tried lowering my sliders and messed around with different Vsync settings between Nvidia Control panel and in game, have even swithched all Vsync off in both and played in offline mode. It comes right every now and then, then it just goes back to stuttering, especially on the runway taking off its driving me balmy because its such a great looking sim but the stutters are ruining it for me. Ive been dogged by this with FSX and Prepar3d and I cant believe Im still gettin it on a 64bit game. My specs are i7 7770 GTX1050Ti 4GB and 8 GB of ddr4 ram, any help wo…

Hello, I have been using P3D since several years and recently tried out X Plane. I'm very impressed by the graphics. But as I was already told the clouds are not the nicest ones. However I didnt expect to see clouds like in the picture. Is this normal in X Plane or is it maybe a bad plugin? Thanks! Best regards Andi

First off you need Oculus tray tools and set it to start Oculus home. set windows sound output to rift headphones start Oculus home start xp11 and start flight when flight has loaded start Oculus tray tools (which will restart Oculus home) change to x-plane VR mode. I don't know why but frames (for me at least) are smooth at any frame rate above 22 !!! Please let me know if it works for you. Mick

I would like to do some color corrections and other alterations to ortho tiles. How can I tell which tile number I need? And which of the files? (Besides randomly looking at them.) I assume the number system will tell me, but I have not found a guide on how they work exactly. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks! Ron

The issue I had before was gone with the latest update to the GTN. And that was the GPS/NAV switching back and forth VLOC to GPS...VLOC to GPS. Not sure if this is even a GTN issue. I launched the sim hopped into the F33 Bonanza REP. This time though I decided to do a FSE flight. As soon as I started the FSE flight t he GPS/NAV switch started hopping between the VLOC/GPS modes. Any thoughts? Latest software updates installed for everything. Thank you!

I have all of the above installed. xVision appears to need FlywithLua to work. I don't have it, so I don't think xVision is running Ultra Weather XP says in the user guide, P3: "Here are the plug-ins that need to be disabled the most before using UWXP: • FlyWithLua (any scripts of any of following: Sky, Sun, Water, Visibility, Fog, Atmosphere, Clouds, Shadows, Lights, Colors, Moon and Terrain). all of the above installed." UWXP appears ok to use ASXP. So, is the choice UWXP + ASXP or xVision + ASXP, ? but not UWXP + xVision because of the Flywithlua issue? It gets a bit confusing. After reading through a few pages of topics... am I the only one who can't get the autopilot to function properly on pretty much every aircraft in XPlane? I just upgraded the SSG E-170, for instance, and the first time I flew it, the AP worked well. I was able to complete a full flight, which I had never been able to do before. Tried it again the next day and the AP is effed again! Will not follow a heading, will not hold a climb or altitude... I have the same problem with everything else as well, it seems, even the Zibo 737. Am I alone in the world, or is this a common problem with an easy fix that I can't find a mention of?? Russ

Hello and help! I just started using the Saitek Throttle quadrant and quite like it. The only problem is that when I am flying the Flyjsim 737v3 the throttles and speedbrake continuously micro-oscillate in any setting. This is especially bothersome with the speedbrake which gives of these constant metal to metal clicks because somehow the analog sensor seems to be "unstable" and gives off "noise" that produces these micro-oscillations. The only "Control Sensitivity" adjustments that you can make seem to be with the joystick and nothing seems to be available for the Saitek throttle quadrant and adding a response curve does not help the problem. I have reinstalled XP11 on my new notebook, it makes such a big difference if you can move the sliders a lot more to the right. Many things to explore. Yesterday I was able to land the Toliss A319 at EGSS (Gateway Airport), enjoyed the approach over True Earth GB scenery and still had 40+ FPS. Here are my specs: Intel I7 8750H, GTX1070 and 32 GB RAM. It’s a whole different look and feel, very well worth the money.

So last night I called the default pushback cart on a flight from KMIA to TNCM..Big mistake. Now every flight regardless of plane type this guy shows up, or calls me on the radio while taxing to the runway or taxing back in after a flight saying taxi to ramp for a push or he just suddenly appears hooks up and pushes my plane,doesn't matter that I just landed there and taxied up because here comes the push cart stalker,the guy follows me to other airports too. How do I fix this because its really annoying...
