So is there any repository to just download and install ortho4xp into xplane- like drag and drop? Or does everyone just have to make their own?

Please can someone help me with installing chart`s into the gtn 750 of the Bell 407 which I use on a second touchscreen monitor. I have placed a app chart into x-plane 11/custom data/ xxxx (name of airport folder)/app.rwy 34 ils.png (converted from a pdf file), but when I run the gtn 750 in x-plane 11 and open up the app page, all I get is a message saying "no charts available". I have followed all the instruction`s as far as i`m aware correrctly, but am at a loss to why the chart won`t load up. Many thanks John.

Gentlemen any one experience with this great tool? Have done a lot of reading and after that started. Hi Guys - I have just finished building a new system (details below) and will be reinstalling my old FSX - and XPlane11 for the first time and would appreciate advice as to which drives to install it on. I have three drives, the two 1 TB M2 drives and a Samsung 500GB 850 Pro SSD. This machine will be a stand alone for both Sims and also for CAD work using SOLIDWORKS. I've also been forced to upgrade from Win7 64Bit to Win10 Pro 64bit. My first thoughts are to install Win10 and SOLIDWORKS on one of the M2 Drives and both FSX and XPlane 11 on the other M2 but would appreciate advice as to any potential conflicts runing both off the same drive. Just a quick heads-up that Carenado has FINALLY updated the PC-12 for XP 11.30+, so ground handling and flying to the specs should be better, along with other fixes. It looks like there are some issues with VR but they're aware of it so that may be addressed soon. The 1900D has also been updated. Both updated versions are available at Carenado and the .org store. They've reset the download counter so just log in and re-download the file.

-While trying to fly the ILS 05 at KFWA with the G-1000 (Cirrus), after I was turned onto final and the OBS/NAV switched to the CDI/ILS, the aircraft never started down/captured the glideslope. Do I need to select the APR mode manually prior to glideslope interception? Terry

I think for many of us X-Vision users, we want to keep the advantages of X-Vision and still use X-Enviro (or at least give it a good test run). So, that ain't too straight forward. What happens when you just install X-Enviro over your X-Vision equipped setup? In theory this should work, but what about the X-Vision altered shaders for scattering ect.? Or do we have to create a specific X-Vision setup that plays nice with X-Enviro? Best would be to restore to vanilla X-Plane probably and go from there. Anyways I will give it a shot today, and this topic should serve any likeminded users to discuss results.

Any thoughts on this vs the real time real world weather injection included in X-plane? I'm new to X-plane. I have AS in P3d and have been happy with it but am interested in opinions as to how it enhances X-plane. Thank you. Dave

Hello Sorry if it's already been asked a thousand times. I was quite impressed with the Seattle demo area and airports KSEA, KBFI, and KRNT. Both the detail of the airport areas and the frame rates seemed good to me. I wonder though if this is just a special area, or can the same level of detail be expected at the airports say KBOI or KOTH? I really don't want to buy an airport again as usually fly just GA, and fly only west of the Rocky's CONUS. What would be the best options? Hi. I'm running out of ideas and need a little help, please. What might be some causes for a CTD when trying to increase the Number of World Objects to anything higher than "Minimal"? This will happen when first loading a flight or in the middle of a flight. I've tried all the usual tricks (Checked RAM, re-installed XP, latest video driver, no 3rd-party plugins, rebuilt Preferences,TDR adjustments, changed planes, airports etc.) to fix the problem. I recently purchased the Eiger Park Scenery that has some high altitude (11,000 ft+) Helipads for launch. I can't get the B412 or the Cabri G2 to take off at these high altitudes, the engine don't seem to have enough power. I get an over torque warning in the B412 and lose all tail rotor authority when taking off...it barely get off the ground, but then spins. I am sure that there is a setting or something that I am missing...any ideas?

Why does the default scenery in Xplane 11.30 present EGPO as if it was in the middle of a sandy desert? Even with Orbx TE GB North it remains the same and spoils the otherwise great imagery of flying there. Please advise what plans are there to improve this situation? Thanks - Chipmunkman

Well, that was a pretty serious thing I just did; a MAJOR event on my simming PC... After more than TWO DECADES of always having a Microsoft based flight simulator installed on my PC, starting with FS98, through FS2004, FSX, and all the various stages of P3D, up to and including v4.5, I've just UNINSTALLED both FSX and P3D, along with hundreds of freeware addons, and probably several thousand £s worth of payware addons!!! Decided I could no longer justify (or even afford) to keep both FS platforms running, either in terms of addons, or drive space on my PC. Hi guys After getting ENORMOUSLY frustrated with the complete lack of support for an issue with xEnviro, I'm looking for a replacement. Can anyone tell me if Activesky will completely replace xEnviro? Will I loose anything like cloud textures by dumping xEnviro in favour of Activesky? Thanks

I purchased the King Air 350 yesterday, then installed it and registered it. Now, every time I load up the King Air, there is this airplane? symbol on the screen. I don't know what it means and I don't know how to get rid of it. It only shows up when I load the Airfoillabs' King Air. I couldn't find anything in the manual that addresses it. Any info on how to get rid of it would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Gerry
