X-Plane 11 is on sale during the Steam Summer Sale!

I purchased this program a few weeks ago. Now when I start a new flight I get a Authentication notice to type in my email address and password. I am not sure what password they wanted but figured it must be for Steam or X-Plane so I typed in each in turn and keep getting a Authentication Fail notice and to go to the internet for Licencing. Where exactly I am to look is a mystery. I wrote to X-Plane Support and asked what password I needed to use. This is the exact answer: Name of Product(s)-Put N/A for None: X-plane. Hello all, I am looking to purchase an Embraer or Embraers for Xplane 11. Until now, I believe the consensus is that the SSG is the more complex and better aircraft collection. However, with the new XCraft release of the updated Embraer family, I would like to know if there is any change in the consensus. I have to admit my only brush with the Embraers is with the FeelThere Phenom 100 and the rest of the Feelthere Embraers in FS2004. I do not know if Carenado is ever going to bother with an XPlane edition of the Phenom300 (with Navigraph pack) and cannot find out, nor really want to wait for them to make that decision. Anyone know what might be causing the stutters when I'm panning my views inside the cockpit? I'm getting good frame rates but whenever I look around the cockpit the view will stutter. It mostly happens if I'm flying in a big city or cloudy weather. The forward view seems fine but it's just when I change the view and look out the left or right side of the cockpit...that's when it stutters but the frames rates are still good at the same time. I did change the rendering settings which were on the high side and changed them to one of the lower presets which helped...still get the stutters but not as bad and the flight model seems to have improved along with better frame rates…

Trying to find a airport where you know the general location but not necessarily the state or country is hard for me to do in X-plane 11. When I type in the airport's name, (need correct spelling) most of the time it will not show up on the list. Then I have to go outside of X-plane and do a Google/Bing search to find the correct airport code/s. How difficult would it be to have the current map function in X-plane to expand out to show the world so that you could then zoom back in on a particular area/airport? I would think that all of the current airport location functions (codes, names ,states, etc. ) have some sort of common relationship such as Lat/Long coordin…

I read that Ortho4XP v1.30 is available...although its described as a "pre-alpha" release, so not as stable as 1.20b. That said, has anyone tried it? One of the features is it brings back sloped runways.

I'm looking to get a business jet for X-Plane 11. I've never tried a business jet ever as I normally do airliners, so I am not used to anything in this segment. Any thoughts on which ones have come a long way in terms of implementations of systems and such? Thank you!

To help battle VR + flyinside lack of brightness in the cockpit (HDR fps issue as well).. i thought maybe for overcast situations simply turning on the cockpit lights would help.. however i feel stupid.. not only can i not find the right switch in the cockpit, but i'm unsure what the keyboard command or generic command in the listing would be for this? Thanks in advance

I bought Xplane because the FF 767 looked amazing. It is a great plane. Much better than the Level D I must say. I am flying the 767 for my V.A. and I’m having an issue with the year. XUIPC is telling my V.A. Acars program that it is 2014 instead of 2019. Everything else is correct. There is no way to change the year in Xplane that I can find, so where is xuipc getting the data to tell acars that it is 2014?

On .org downloads - Hughes 500D. Hard to believe this began in XP8 - updated to 11.3 - looks good and flies good. Some great liveries by Paul Mort at same location.

Hi all, hi Janov, are you still around? I wasn't around for a while because I lost interest in X-Plane 11.20 a year ago or so. Instead, I changed to Prepar3D v3 and v4; mainly to fly "Jimi's" gorgeous F-18 Hornet. My problem on X-Plane 11.20 was and still is the Auto Pilot ILS-Malfunction with the Default Boeing 737. This thing will not intercept and /or maintain an ILS or Localizer course, nor recognize glide slopes descend. Initially, I thought it might be a bug (flaw) of the software and hoped for an improvement during an update.I performed the update X-Plane 11.34 this week!! Result = same problem. Hi, I've found difficulties in trying to simulate a windshear using ASXP, actually I'm unable to simulate it. It is as if AS refuse to do that: on the map I can see the windshear, while I approach it, it changes width, ending in reversing his direction. I can only feel a light turbolence while I'm in the core of it; Also there isn't an indication of windshear in the cockpit, no aural warning, no windshear alert displayed. NOTE: I'm using the zibo mod, but I think this issue is present in all the aircrafts. Any solution ? May you try to see what happens if you generate one through the debug panel? Andrea Casolari

I tried XP in VR and its cool but I have no idea how to steer on the ground. I was in the Cessna and there was no way to interact with rudder pedals that I could see. I switched to the Ultralight and couldnt steer there either but I did get off the ground and fly around JFK for a moment. Id like to get back to it but I think I'd rather use my joystick and just see through the VR. not sure if thats possible. If its possible to steer the Cessna completely in VR then Id like to know how. thanks.

Does anyone know how to make the Bell 407 external view with 3 screens clickable so that you can open the front nose, check fuel and most importantly remove the vent cover . I`m keen to do cold starts but unless I go back to a single view I can`t achieve this. the only clickable area with 3 screens is the rotor ties, which can be clicked on to remove. John

Can anyone tell me how to use the vnav in the bell 407 using rxp gtn750. I am trying to get the autopilot (sas) to automatically step down the aititudes in the flight plan without having to do it manually, is this possible ?.

Jack just released a huge update to the 737-200, bringing it up to XP11 standards. It includes things like a new visual model, PBR rendering, and FMOD sounds to name just a few of the extensive new and updated features. I had a short helicopter flight on a Bell 206 (first time for me in a helicopter) and wanted to share my main impressions in relation to a flight sim (mostly specific to helicopter flight). Hi everyone, I finally got to attend the FlightsimExpo, after planning to go for the last 2 years... and it is a hoot!
