Hi I went in to problem after upgrade RXP GTN to 2.5.20. After install, everything looks fine but as soon Im klick on the "settings" in the plugin menu, X-plane crash and quit at once. Hey there, so I just started using Ortho4XP and ever since I started using it all of a sudden my mesh just disappeared, including houses, buildings, towers, etc. Now all the shows up is just a extremely low quality flat surface. I've been trying to resolve the issue for 2 weeks now, but I just can't find anything! I'm using the HD Mesh Scenery V4 by alpilotx and some places like LAX works fine, but when I do Atlanta it's just flat no textures or mesh. Hey there, so I've had this problem before but then some days I don't. So basically when I load all my scenery is flat with no textures. I'm still experimenting with the demo and I'd really like to try out more amphibs and floatplanes, as that's what I fly most of the time in FSX. I downloaded Nicolas' freebie Republic Seabee RC3, so I don't need to be convinced about how well small private amphibs fly in this flight sim - truly excellent aircraft and experience! That was a particularly good test, because I own KC Flight Shops' Seabee for FSX. I'm hoping to try a larger amphib or floatplane with some cargo capability like a DHC-3 Otter, Quest Kodiak, DHC-6 Twin Otter or Grumman Goose or Mallard. Ho do I set my OWN cockpit configuration. I would like the lights and switches set to my own setting verses the default X-plane settings. I can get the aircraft to come up in the required location but none of the switchology is my own as saved and marked with the at start up block that is checked on. I would think that Saved Flights means just that. You start from that given position/setting to continue on from where you stopped. Am I overlooking something simple with this process? Terry

Hi, Any idea why RXP 530 is not showing on 3D panel. I have installed both RXP GNS 530 and RXP GNS 430 on C172. GNS 430 is working fine and shows on 3D Panel. GNS 530 is still default C172 X_plane. RXP GNS 530 is working only in Window mode. Yeah, so i just bought Active Sky XP and ive tried to run it. I open it and it closes after a few seconds, but im in my Sim. I really dont know what to do.. There are no other Threads about that. Can anyone tell me if MaxxFX works OK in conjunction with Ortho4XP.

I am just looking at buying XPlane. Been a FSX user for 10 years and know it very well, clearly Xplane is a totally different sim. Its very tidy in the way it has its folder system arranged. I am a bit confused about the scenery arrangement. As I understand it the basic download does not include the scenery. If I install the scenery that is offered with it, can I then install addon scenery or does the default have to be uninstalled first. Regards BobP

Sadly I have to find out after a complete new build that Xplane11 was running very good on my old 2600K Sandy Bridge in 1080P and after the funeral of the 2600K who died last weekend I build a new rig based on viewing lots of video's of Michael Brown on Youtube and decided to go for a i5-9600K (i7-9700 was only a little bit faster in games he said) and filled with 32Gb 3000 ram and for the mean time my old 1060 6Gb as temp GPU till my new RTX 2070-Super arrived and wow, That good old Sandy B was doing the job very, very well but the performance in Xplane11 in the 9600K rig is, as Michael stated, like a rocket... Running the latest version of XP 11 Beta and I am getting crashes when I start to change settings while the sim is running. For instance, I was trying to adjust some settings in XP Realistic and all of a sudden the sim slowed to a crawl before crashing. It is not just XP Realistic that does the crash. It can be almost any value that I change when the sim is running that makes this happen. I thought I had read before about this bug in XP but cannot remember the exact details. Does this sound familiar to anybody else and what might the cure be? The log was not helpful for this latest crash. Thanks, Skip

Couldn't resist it. It was my preferred module in DCS, now I have it for XP11, and although just less than an hour of use, I have to say that, together with the X-TRident 412, they're my preffered helis for X-Plane. I actually find already some details better modelled than in DCS. Only quirk so far is a tendency to bounce ( and it's not due to a low fps or not using adequate flight models per frame ) on ground when there's variable wind / turbulence even if slight. Also, while the manual suggests disabling "experimental flight model" I am on 11.40, and with it on it feels great. So far - adorable chopper!

I do not have that many add-ons for XP11, I must confess, but I've long been willing to invest on a few, namely the iXEG 737 and now also the "Take-Command TBM 900". I wonder if when using these add-ons I can keep that "Experimental flight model" option ticked in the General Settings of XP11( .40 in my case ) ?

Although I am now unable to test on 11.36 because I decided to jump into 11.40 and am enjoying the new FM features Austin implemented or fine-tunned fact is I noticed something changed regarding that old over-sensitivity to winds on ground and inflight when there is variability / turbulence. I was searching ( as usual ) for gusts at airfields to go make circuits there and I found a few. For some reason my gpu is crashing in X-Plane. It has no problem with high demand games. This started very recently and has gotten progressively worse. I have removed all add-ons from the sim, updated the sim, even uninstalled-reinstalled. Before I start changing out gpus does anyone have any thoughts about why this may be happening that can be fixed??

I downloaded the current Xplane demo and have been running it in VR with my Oculus CV1. The image has terrible anti-aliasing. I have set the video quality to max (HDR) and have played with the AA setting. I have gotten some improvement, but, if I go above 2X-FSAA I get stutter in the VR cockpit. I have been using the helicopter provided with the demo for my flights. Am I missing a setting? Is the AA in the demo different from the purchased software? My system is an 8700k at 4.9 ghz and an FTX 1080TI. Just trying to determine if I will purchase or not. Presently use P3DV4.5. Danny

So I am brand new to XP, I have been flying ESP based sims (FSX P3D) since I was 7 (FS 95 days). I am looking for an addon to change my sky, clouds etc. Kind of like REX Texture Direct but for Xplane...who makes the best product? I also need a WX engine. Ive been using AS forever, is AS XP just as good? Im also interested in using the FF 75 and 76, are they both of very high quality?
