I can't setup a working profile for XPlane 11. I have posted in their forum and open a ticket since 12/2/19 with no reply. I read they have good support. Are they still in business? If anyone hear can tell me were to get a working XPlane profile. I would appreciate it. Thank You. Bill McCracken

Hi, Having fun with VR at present using the Oculus Rift in Windows 10 Pro. HMD display seems fine in Prepar3D, DCS World and Aerofly FS2 but not so much in X-Plane 11.40: Top part of image is the VR whereas the bottom 'insert/overlay' is a static image. Nothing I do gets rid of the static image. It varies in position and size each time X-Plane starts in VR and minimizing the X-Plane window on screen does help in that it pushes the static image further down the HMD display, but is still visible and somewhat distracting when I fly. I found that displaying X-Plane as full screen on my monitor produces a visual mess in the HMD with VR active. Same wit…

I used to have a pop out / undock selection for the 750 in prior versions in the plug in drop down, I can no longer "popout" or un-dock the 750 in xplane 11. .. im sure this has been discussed numerous times but i cant find a resolve ,,,any advice would be wonderful i would be even happy if i could move it to an ipad or a second screen ... anything would help Thank you Peter

I have pretty much covered all my area interests of flight with Ortho4XP at z17/19-4 In the pursuit of that, I noticed time and time again, that the servers had uploaded different time-of-season tiles...where you could be flying along over Spring, Summer, and Fall. I have not seen Winter ever. But stating that...I have a suggestion for those invested in Ortho4XP. As you fly around, viewing tiles along your flight path...have pen and paper ready....as you fly, if you see a season that you lean toward...just make note of any of the airports, for instance, where it was obvious that Fall was in effect with the color of forestry showing the leaves turning...etc...and t…

I have a small problem I have an 1 inch wide strip appeared on the top of my monitor showing ATC instructions to passing plane traffic I must have pressed a button or ticked a box-a bit annoying Can anybody help me to remove it? xxd09

Hi all, I have recently purchased Traffic Global for XP11, I did a quick hop from Luton across to Amsterdam and while Luton was packed with aircraft, Amsterdam only had a grand total of 11 aircraft spread across the entire airport. Schiphol airport is the standard gateway airport while Luton is part of the Orbx True Earth South package (although I don't believe Orbx actually update the airports in this package). I was wondering if anyone else has found Schiphol lacking in traffic with this plug in? For reference I do have the traffic set to 100%, the traffic was like this on arrival, I have not attempted to start with the flight there. …

I wasn't that much impressed by the last Q&A session, just as many of you, and for some reason LR decided to bring it down. One of the reasons was there really being no significant announcements on their plans for the version of X-Plane I use - desktop - while a good deal of emphasis was put into the mobile version. While I have to accept the relevance given to a mobile version, because it must, by this time, be a good source of budget compared to the desktop versions, and I have to respect the wants of all of those potential users that are on it, I really would like to continue to see improvements, fine tuning, and "lovely" new features announced for us des…

Hi everybody, I am familiar with the live ATC website which I use for immersion. However I think I saw somewhere a plugin (payware) for switching between live ATC frequencies within XPlane. In other words, same as LiveATC website but in a plugin format. Can someone help me with finding it? Thanks!

Sometime after the release of the first public version of x-plane ( 1995 ), which costed around $700,00 initially ( WOW !!!! ) but had a time limited demo version I used for years before buying my first copy of X-Plane ( XP7 ) if I'm not wrong, Austin announced X-Rotor, as a separate project dedicated to the simulation of rotary wing aircraft. Hi people! I don't have a joystick to fly my planes, so I'm using an xbox 360 controller for most things (roll, pitch, yaw, etc) and i was wondering if there was a way for me to configure my controller to emulate a mouse click with, say, a shoulder button (I use the controller's right joystick to move the camera, so if I could find a way to make it into a LMB click, it'd be awesome) Thank you!

Look at the screenshot from the link. It seems like the clouds is laying on the ground with straight lines. Serious glitch that would make flying in cloudy weather a no go. I am trying to set up the Zibo 737 in X-plane 11.40 to fly as close as possible to a real 737. Hi all, Just wanted to canvas thoughts on Active Sky and the wind depiction. I have it installed correctly, but I just feel like the wind is not accurate. Most of my flights are very smooth. The sim shows wind (in Zibo Mod you can see it on the PFD), but in terms of light buffeting you would expect from the real world, i don't experience this. I would have thought, particularly at this time of year that things would be slightly bumpy, but I just find everything to be very smooth and constant. The only thing that is noticeable is the effect of a crosswind. Just wondered what other users experienced, or whether there might be a better software option. …

Recently purchased Cessna CT206 Stationair from Carenado for X-Plane 11. Have not flown it yet but noticed two things that seem to be reversed: Cowl flap lever in open position, the cowl flaps are closed in exterior view. Reverse happens in closed position. Wheel fairings option: when turned on the fairings disappear. When turned off, they reappear. Posted a report at Carenado Support. Thinking an update needs to come out. I am an old fart non-pilot with a great love of aviation. I have never had hands on experience with aviation com/nav radios but I am fairly adept with computer systems, both hardware and software. I have, however, found much difficulty in utilizing the xplane garmin 530/1000 for VOR navigation. I simply have not been able to fully understand the operational instructions provided. Can anyone give me a lead to written and/or video instructions that might be more comprehendable by a layman such as myself. Thanks, Dave
