I was an RC4 user a long time ago on FS, but have transitioned to X-Plane and am having much difficulty getting it running with the rc4toxplane program that I bought yesterday. I have read even this and other threads, though I suppose it's always possible (even likely) that I missed something that has already been discussed, some vital clue lodged within a posting from 3-4 years ago. Here's what I've done so far: 1) I am running Xplane 11.41 that is installed on my C drive. 2) I have downloaded a fresh copy of RC4 and that program installed itself in my Windows Program Files (x86) directory. I have a new Carenardo Turbo commander 690b and I follow the checklist to start the aircraft. In the starting engine section point 11 it says: - 11.PROPELLERS........................... CLEAR and UNFEATHERED If unfeathered, proceed as follows: a. Power Lever..............................................REVERSE How do you move the power lever into reverse? Carenado has a sale on right now. Do anybody know why X-Plane 11 is not included? They have been a few sales for P3D but never seen one for X-Plane.

Good Afternoon I have loaded the carenado TBM 850 onto x plane but:- 1. G1000 PDF's and MDF are black. Not on at all. 2. None of the switches work to turn power on. 3. Outside of aircraft shows a man dangling below aircraft which is parked on the runway with engine running. Nick

I use prefixes to order my scenery in XPlane ie”a” for airports etc This works well but my only problem is with Orbx scenery where this system means that FTX Central cannot see Orbx files properly for updates In fact I only use “a” for Orbx airports and “v” for everything else Orbx(Orbx,s own internal ordering system seems to sort out all the Orbx mesh,orthos into the right order) Means I can fly without to much hassle and everything stays in the right order but I have to keep an eye out for Orbx updates Am I missing something? I need some advice concerning my autopilot on X-Plane 11. The Logitech Autopilot panel runs fine when it is running … no problem there. However, each time I shut X-Plane 11 down and/or put the computer to sleep, the autopilot does not come back on. I can only get it to run by disconnecting the USB plug each time and plugging it back in, but this gets to be a pain since the plug is located on the rear of my simulator and it is difficult to get back there. Is this a "normal" problem with this device that I have to live with, or is there some kind of "fix" that can prevent the device from shutting down. lI am a "Newbie" to flight simulators and this forum so ple…

I’ve installed the ZCDU. It instructs me to enter the Xplane ip address. What is the Xplane ip address? Is it the same as the computer address? If so it is rejected. Advice would appreciated. M Cumming

I need to monitor the dataref "thranda/cockpit/actuators/FuelSwL" in my Carenado Navajo for x-plane 11. It has 3 states: "thranda/cockpit/actuators/FuelSwL=0" - or "thranda/cockpit/actuators/FuelSwL=1" - or "thranda/cockpit/actuators/FuelSwL=2" This is for the fuel actuator handles. When they are moved with the mouse, the dataref changes to one of the 3 states; 0 = inboard, 1 = off and 2 = outboard. Since I can't find the offsets, I've assigned my own to them. 0x66C1, 0x66C2 and 0x66C3 and mapped them to switches through spad.next. This all works as it should. The handle moves and the dataref changes. Now I need to monitor the different states in Mobif…

Hi everyone I am having an issue with the VNAV function on the TBM 900. I mocked a flight from Steveo1 from Opa Loka to Miami with a decent to 8000 ft over DEKKA. I entered the 8000 Feet for that waypoint and it showed up in Magenta on the PFD by the Alt and I also set the preselect to 8000 as well. I armed the VNV and VPTH showed up in white on the PFD as well. It let me know the 1 minute until TOP of decent BUT when the Vertical guidance hits center it does not capture it and goes right through. Am I not entering something for this plane or is something wrong. I have watched You Tube videos on the set up and I seem to be doing everything properly. Thank…

Dear experts, Since a while (never had problems with this before) After launching a .sit file on a uncontrolled airfield Xplane11.41 gives me strange feedback that A.I. is disengaged, AI is not available for this start type, The AI can only operate using ramp, take off and final approach starts. To get the AI to fly your plane, restart using one of those start types. Result: aircraft starts at a random position in the air, engines turned of and 3D flightmodel display is activated. I have postet this at the org too, because over there is the official support forum for the Airfoillabs B350. But I know about the knowledge floating here around so I try. When I follow the flight director on an ILS or RNAV approach in the B350 the angle seems right and I can fly down to the touch down zone and make a greaser landing. But the runways VASI shows 4 whites. If I switch to visual to have 2 whites and two reds, I come very low. That happens at many airports when flying the B350 but not with other planes. There's a new replacement for XP11's night lighting, and in my opinion, after having tried a lot of them, it's by far the best yet. It goes by the humble name of "My_Xplane_Night_Lighting 1.1.6" and is a bit more elaborate than other tweaks, as it replaces more that just the lights.txt - key here is resizing the lights, correcting the scale of the lights by making them smaller (similar to what Mister X's HD forests do to the scale of the trees). Colors are also spot on, less orange and with a lot more variation - check the highway ramps for example. It doesn't change the emitted light however, so it has the same performance than vanilla X-Plane lighting - unlike other twe…

I am a new user of X Plane 11. I have loaded X plane 11 to my PC but when I start a flight in any aircraft the view rotates continuously through 360 degrees and i don't seem to be able to stop it. can anyone please help me ?

By far the Toliss A319 turned out to beome my preferred Airbus FBW series among all I have used so far in the various platforms, and it's actually the only airliner I use with XP11. Yes I know about the Zibo, and I will surely give it a new try - last time was some 2 yrs ago I guess... But, back to the Toliss, found this nifty plugin that allows for importing of SimBrief OFPs intp the 319.
