I''m new to XPlane to so I'm having real trouble with the flight path. I think it would be easy to be create a flight path, I'm not sure to ask which runway to use? I can't imagine why it would be my choice for either take off or landing, surely the ATC would be deciding... also, does anyone know of a product that will pretty much act as my co-pilot on a small Airbus (eg A319/320). thanks, gaz

Very smooth animation, no stutter through fast cloud draw....the best I have seen of the advancing 'B's. Flying through cloud banks over Florida heading toward's South Carolina.....the best XP11.50 'B' yet! 29/30 FPS...steady... DX12? What is....THAT?!?!?!?!?!? LOL! When I go to try to move my head using the mouse wheel, it's great (for the direction it's looking) - but not when I try the hat switch on the joystick. The difference is only the speed I think, the mouse movement is much quicker. How to I make a change to the speed this works on the joystick? Gaz

Hi guys , i have an issue with fs global real weather .... i took the plunge in getting skymaxx pro , real weather connecter and fs global real weather ... now when i install fs global real weather it asks me for the xp11 path but says the path is incorrect ?? I can’t select tools in fs global as it asks to , as it’s greyed out and can’t be selected .. does fa global work with skymaxx pro out the bag ? Do i need to do anything to fs global to make it work or is it all automatic once it’s installed .. any help will be apreciated .

I made a departure from Timika Papua, very uneventful as the weather was fairly good, and I was able to climb above some clouds at 5k along the south edge of the mountain range. About half way to Wamena, a tire blew out at 6 thousand feet. Um did I run over a nail? Doubt it Who blows out a tire at 6 thousand feet?

Just getting into flight simulation and purchased X-Plane-11. Using Honeycomb controll. I have a 55 inch Vizio LED TV that works fine, but does not have bluetooth. I want to use the display from this tv while using X-plane. I connect the tv to my HP laptop with an HDMI cord. The desktop appears on laptop and Vizio. As soon as I click on the X-plane icon, the Vizio screen goes dark with the exception of the mouse pointer when remains illuminated and work well on the Vizio screen. Flight sim'ming-wise, "I am home!" Northern Michigan, z17/z19, with XP11 cranked out... Ever since I have gotten into generating my own tiles, for the first time, do I feel that I am actually travelling somewhere, actually FLYING over real-life countryside, of which in actuality, I am...a veritus captured picture of what it would exactly look like had I flown over this area, viewed it from the cockpit at nearly 7,500 AGL, I am really looking at what's below my wing...for I know it is there, in real life. Using Xplane 11.41 PROBLEM All of a sudden , all aircraft have been acting weird. i noticed when i first saw Zibo giving the missing files warning Then the engine power wont work despite my full throttle It wouldnt draw the route magenta line as well Other planes are also acting weird SF 50 and 747 start up with power down , some have engine issues What i have done UNTILL now I Removed each and every plugin and it all came down to one plugin acting weird "XLUA 1.0.0r1 " When i disable it from the plugin admin , life comes back in the plane , but some of my controls go bad , if i enabl…

My goal is: building a remote Control for the knobs in Reality XP GTN 750 plugin for XPlane I´m messing around with ESP32-Boards a few switches and incremental encoders UDP-Message sending to XPlane ...this all works fine my questions is: is it possible to remote control this Unit? Hi there, I have xplane 11 and realityxp garmin 650. I run my sim on 4 screens. I want to run xplane in 3 screens and run the Garmin 650 on a screen outside of xplane simulator. I don’t want to use resources to run the simulator graphics on the 4th screen (which is actually an iPad) so I just want To be able to drag the GPS to neutral screen showing the windows desktop background. How can I do this? I just spent a crazy amount of money on this RealityXP GPS software (with the Canadian exchange rate) so I hope this can be accomplished.

Hello, I've been P3d exclusive, but out of interest and given the less than fantastic reception of V5, am going to X plane. As I've no investment in either money or settings, I assume if I go 11.50b, that would not be an issue?

Hi I'm now having to work on X-Plane on a smaller machine than normal for me - it doesn't have a number-pad. Is that ok to work with? is there a keyboard sheet or video showing how to use X-Plane with only the small keyboard, mouse and joystick? Gaz

Hi guys, Enjoying xplane11 in VR especially since 11.50 beta. I have one issue However. Why do my ga aircraft feel so stable? I was flying near svalbard this morning with heavy storm in my rep simcoders 172. My plane just went perfectly straight without any movement. I could land it perfectly on a rocky area without any problem. I have active sky xp. I changed to just flight c152 and that one was equally stable. I have aeroflyfs2 and those planes also have this on rails like behavior. I have used p3d a lot and the a2a cessna172 was always very agile and making squeaky sounds and was sometimes very hard to land with certain winds.…

This thread may save you many hours of work. After 12 hours of frustrating trial and error, internet research etc, things are finally all fixed. My setup: windows 10, Xplane 11.4, oculus rift, Realsimgear 530, GTX1070TI, intel i5, 39 inch hdtv, all running perfectly for many months. My graphics card connections were hdmi to oculus rift, DVI-D to main monitor, Realsimgear to display port. For months all,worked flawlessly. Timeline of events. I wanted Xplane’ s Vulcan. I downloaded version .50 and installed it. Xplane opened, stated I’d need to update drivers. I did that through nvidia. Restarted Xplane, checked the Vulcan box and I don’t know exactly what happened but …

Hi all , i have a pc arriving next week and want to start getting into fligjt simmimg .. i want to get xplane 11 to get myself started .. and from what i gather the default scenery is awful .. i stumbled actoss an addon called s.f.d global , have seen some vids and looks really good .. cany anyone confirm if this sfd addon is worth the trouble .... just to note i don’t want to waste time with hd mesh v4 . Or anything , and also does xplane 11 come out the box with real world weather built in or is that an addon ? .. thankyou for your help .

Wow, That XP11.50b3 is something else. The bottleneck is my 2080ti at 2150mhz at 99% while the CPU is ~50%. Unbelievable improvement is FPS. About 50% better. So my problem is I set the monitor to 30hz in NCP and turn Vsync on in XP but I am still getting FPS well over 30fps. What gives?

Can someone help me with the setting up of Xplane with Project Magenta. I find that even the new edition of PM’s manual Xplane (as far as I can see) no mention of Xplane is made. Do I use fsuipc and xuipc together is just one question. How do I share certain files etc. I need basic support in setting this up. Looking forward to all your help! PS. After unsuccessfully trying to run x-plane on my circa 2010 system with Dell 27" monitors and a weak graphics card, I have a new system on the way with X9 8 cores including Turbo Boost to 5.0, 2 1tb SSD drives, 32GB of memory, and a Nvidia 2080 ti graphics card. Everyone tells me that I will do very well with this system except that the old Dell monitors only refresh at 60 and there is no support for g sync. I am told I will get the best results with an IPS monitor, 100 refresh rate or so, response time of 4 or less, and g-sync support. I found the Acer 32 inch predator with all of that except that it only has a refresh rate of 60. I have a feeling that the super …

Probably like at lot of you my busy life has slowed down as of late and I finally had time to get around to checking out X-Plane. Got the Steam version with the included global terrain and ASXP for weather. WOW!!! The aircraft fly like real airplanes — much better than in FSX or P3D. I'm a real world general aviation pilot since high school BTW. No more taxiing as if the airplane was on ice skates, unrealistic control response, or chaotic output from the flight dynamics model that make manual flying almost impossible. Hooking up the Saitek flight controls was much easier too. Now I just need to get everything configured right. I have a complicated set…
