Hello there, Even if XPlane is famous about the quality of its freeware airports, I am starting to think about getting some payware high quality ones. But I figured out XPlane Store doesn't have all of them, Simmarket doesn't have a search feature by region or country... So I end up switching between sites and pages, never know if a new one has appeared in the middle of them and waste a lot of time. I was wondering if someone knows a site were ALL the payware (or/and freeware) sceneries are registered, included the newest ones of course? Even better, if we can see all of them on a map? or rank them by date of release?? Thank you!

Although I keep P3DV4.4 on my system because of my collection of add on aircraft, Xplane11 has become my preferred sim due to its support of a wider range of the flight envelope, its outstanding landclass, mesh and autogen, and its growing Avsim community. I dissed Xplane10 on my old system which just did not run it well, even though I had the same amount of memory, my gpu had 1 Gig less memory than I have now, and Xplane11 seems to like that minimum amount, since I have never had a memory crash in the latest sim updates. Ola, estou instalando um cockpit doméstico e comprei um fmc para usar estalei o (SIOC) junto com o (CDMCient) para começar a usá-lo e está funcionando de beleza no Zibo só que eu queria usar no ixeg e no 737 o X-Plane 11 e não consigo encontrar nenhum programa compatível que possa fazer isso. Dear Pilots, I just bought the Active Sky XP and I have a problem with it. I flew from Bergamo to Debrecen yesterday and I realized this is actually not real weather. What is my problem? I live in Debrecen and the weather was very cloudy here yesterday in the afternoon. But in the X-Plane the weather was "Clear" during my arrival. I went to the window and I saw a big, much layered cloud in the sky. So the weather was cloudy. I couldn't see the Sun, just clouds everywhere. What should I do to fix this? Any suggestions? My settings are fitted to Real Weather mode, and I use Realism mode. I don't know what is the problem. I always see in the ASXP METAR: Clouds: No…

In FSX and P3D, pressing the "B" key on the keyboard would always set the altimeter to the field elevation or, when in flight, the the nearest airport or ATC setting. In XP11, that key operates the brakes. I have looked diligently through the list of P11 keyboard commands and while I found the one for setting the DG to the current heading (the "D" key as it is in FSX and P3D), I could not locate the one for setting the altimeter. Anyone know what it is? Thanks

I spotted this over at the org just released today... https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/49749-livetraffic/ I own WT3 and fairly happy with it but early reports in the review section appear to indicate this might be better than WT3 as it uses real world live traffic data somehow (whilst using the same freeware Bluebell models that WT3 uses). Before removing my WT3 install, it would be great if someone here wouldn't mind giving this a try and reporting back. On the surface it looks promising. Hello all, I have downloaded quite a few of the Zibo 900 repaints from LiveryFinder and none of them work. I have noticed in another topic that these do not work with 1901(????) but do with 1801(???) I have the latest download but not the latest beta so I am assuming that I have the 1901 version. I am now wondering if anyone is working on any new repaints for the 1901 and if so is there a time frame available. Any information is, as always, appreciated. Regards Tony

Greetings, I just purchased and installed ASXP in XPlane11. I was checking it out and it worked great in XPlane11 windows mode. I normally run XPlane in full screen mode and when I switched over, I could not figure out how to access the ASXP control panel. Can someone please help me out? Thank you, cbreeze

Hi, all. I finally made the jump over to XP11 this weekend, and with very little effort, I have to say I am impressed. I have actually been flying instead of buying and tweaking things. My local little 3D airports are quite recognizable; and with the scenery detail cranked up I even saw a hospital complex along a highway north of me. And that brings up my question... I would love to add a few landmarks (power plants along rivers, shopping centers, etc) to make VFR a little more realistic. I know there are programs to modify airports. Is there anything that could add the types of objects I am thinking of - "off airport"? Thanks. Looking forward to …

I would like to know if the Navigraph Desktop Charts application can be connected with XP11, using SimLink, through a network, working as a moving map ? Any of you using it or with info on the subject ? Thx!

Cloud shadows on ground look pretty nice in P3D, but I can hardly see any cloud shadows on the ground in XP11. If I look really hard I may see some kind of really faint and flicking grays spots on the grounds, but nothing looks like shadows in P3D. Are you guys having the same experience too? Shadows of terrain, trees and buildings etc are kind of ok, though still not as as good as P3D I'd say. This is the section in my lua file for settings on shadow (modified and collected from other peoples' shadow settings). The set( "sim/private/controls/clouds/cloud_shadow_lighten_ratio", 0.950000) is supposed to make cloud shadow darker but doesn't seem to do anything ob…

Hi guys, Decided to dust of my c172 REP by simcoders which I bought more than a year ago. I tried to update it using skunkcraft update.cfg file. Problem is...there isn't one in my extracted zip file. I cannot for the love of God find my simcoders receipt/account details so I could maybe download the zip file again. I downloaded the robin dr401 freeware plane which contains a skunkcraft update cfg file and copy/pasted that in my simcoders folder. Started xplane11 and everything started updating! FYI, I have the greatest respect for ChasePlane and EZDOK in the FSX/P3D environment (I purchased both some time ago), and I have acquired similar functionality in X-Plane11 with "X-Camera" which can be used to create user defined views, and "XPRealistic" which can provide comprehensive internal cockpit movements. Both apps are available in the Xplane.org store. I have also written a script (below) which works with the latest "X-Camera beta" to greatly enhance the external views. The Short Solent MK III has been updated by Michael Wilson. She now uses PBR textures and looks fantastic. Now she only works with XP 11.

Hi, i´m not happy with WT3, so i´m interested to know which ai traffic program is used most.

Hi all. I have been away from flightsimming for severel years. Last time, I used FSX with tons of addons. I feel that FSX is outdated, and no longer the sim I want to use. I have been looking at 2 new sims, Prepar3d and X Plane. I have several saitek panels, and the pedals plus yoke, the ones almost all others have. Ofcourse it would be nice to use that hardware again. I care about graphics, realism, and a fairly userfriendly flightsim, i know simming isn't always easy, but i kinda growing tires of fooling around with ini files. A LOT of that i did with FSX.
