Rumblepad 2 with FS2004Problem: Right Stick X and Y Axis are reversed.Moving the Right stick left and right use to move the rudderMoving the Right stick up and down use to control the throttleSomething has changed causing the X and Y functions to be reversed.Up and down now moves the rudder and left and right moves the throttle. The left stick functions properly.I have reloaded FS2004 but that did not correct the problem. The problem started after FS2004 hung up when I exited the program. The next time I started the program the right stick did not work.Any suggestions.Ed

Saw a video on Youtube with a guy using the TrackIR and I was blown away, looks like a must have for simming. Went to buy it, but now stuck on whether to get the headset trackclip or not. Is it really necessary to get it, or is the sensor sitting on the monitor sufficient? Any feedback greatly welcome!

Hi AllI have a problem calibrating my CH Rudder Pedals in Win XP.I want to use FSUIPC to Control my joysticks in FS9, which means joystick inside FS has to be disabled.Earlier I used CH Control Manager to do the job, but this Program need to be uninstalled from my PC to be able to use FSUIPC.My exact Problem is that Windows Calibrating System tells me to hit a Controllers Button when moving Rudder full left, full right and Differential Brakes Full right and left. Problem is there are no buttons on the Pedals to hit !! :( :( Anyone have a smart solution?

HelloI have been using my old Thrustmaster F-22 and F-16 TQS and Thrustmaster rudder pedels on Windows XP (FSX and FS9). Thinking of upgrading, and was wondering if they will work on Windows 7 64 bit? I would hate to loose my Thrustmaster setup. They were really well built as compared to today's Couger setup and have given me supurb service.ThanksEd

I just got the Saitek Proflight Radio Panel, I use it alongside the Multi Panel one. When I change the frequencies on the standby window, the frequency in the active window changes. Any cure for that? My multi panel unit works just fine. Appreciate any hellp.Thanks.Abe

My joystick is Logitech extreme 3d pro. Moving around the VC with the hatswitch is difficult because just by a slight touch the view moves two feet away. Can it be made more precise by reducing it's sensitivity (slowing it down a bit)?ThanksDS

My CH Flightstick Pro is nearing the end of its life. I am tempted by the Saitek Products but wonder why the throttle is designed for the left hand, and to sit on the left of the joystick. This set up means that the pilot will feel as though he/she is flying from the P2 seat although sitting in P1. It seems odd, as if the designers flew choppers only! Can anyone enlighten me? Maybe I have missed something obvious. John

I couple of years ago I bought a Saitek X52 HOTAS and a CH Yoke. Now the CH yoke still works ok but the quality is really not up to scratch. The whole thing seems to bend and twist while using it, and while the aeleron control is nice and accurate, the "plastic pipe through base" setup of the pitch control leaves much to be desired as far as accuracy goes. It's a bit sticky and makes small, slight adjustments nearly impossible. The X52 stick suffers from this dilemna in all directions. Making small adjustments during a turn is a sticky affair. That plastic cup has far too much friction. Also, none of the rotary switches work anymore (they spike so much that they're useless)…

I have made my own flight yoke for my pit. And I would love to add FFB to it. I do not own a FFB joystick to take apart to see how the internals work. So does anybody know what kind of signal the computer outputs to the controler to control the motors in the FFB control? I also would assume there are some position feed back pots that feed back to the computer as well to tell the the controls current position. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have some racing games on my PC and I'm tired to play them with my keyboard only. The problem is that those racing games only accept 1 controller (so i have to use either the pedals OR the yoke, but not both at the same time). Now my question is, how can i combine both devices into 1 so that they are merged into 1 device that the computer recognizes? I have the CH products control manager but I don't understand how to combine them with it.Thanks.P. J

Hi all,Then:I had a Logitech 3D Pro that I really liked, but the rudder axis went south with only minimal range happening on the left twist. I did all the usual stuff in calibrate/repair...but it mechanically wasn't going to happen. Now:I picked up a Saitek AV8R-01 joystick (my first Saitek product ever) and am happy to report that for a price (average of $37.00 US), this stick really has some quality and features built into it. Really great (after you download the latest drivers for your O.S. version ((which they have, including W7)) programming software, with intuitive/ease-of-use features. Later about that...The stick features a full height column that fits a large ha…

I have a ch rudder and flight yoke (USB) combo, when ever I start FSX It shows differential braking even though my foot is not on the rudder. I've tried calibrating several times with no luck. This started after my clean install to Windows 7 64-bit and new install of FSX and all addons. Please help thank you very much.

I just purchased a trackir 5 and set to run on default. Looks up and down, left and right just fine. Looks up right 45 degrees and up left 45 degrees and down right 45 degrees fine but when I try to look down left 45 degrees it freezes and green light goes out. I've tried to adjust the camera and different angles but never could get it to look down 45 degrees left. Zoom works fine. Any help will be appreciated.

Is there a possibility to disable TrackIR (suspend) when outside of Virtual Cockpit? I know that there is a file in AVSIM library, but would like to do it myself.

I am trying to assign joystick buttons for the zoom in and out function of the virtual cockpit so I do not need to use the + or - keys on the keyboard. Under the options and controls tab there are a ton of commands that can be assigned a button but I cannot find this one listed. Am I missing any thing or is there a way to make this possibe. I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro as my joystick. Thanks,Mat

Does anybody know of a way within FSX to restrict what views TrackIR will be active in?I've had a TrackIR 3 Pro with the vectors for about 3 years I think. I used it for a short time on my old XP system with FS04. I got mixed results and after a while I quit using it.For the past couple of weeks I've been trying to get it going with my current Vista 32 system and FSX. Since Staggerwing taught me how to edit the profiles I've come to really like using it with the 3D cockpits. But I am not fond of using it with the 2D panel or in the spot view. I have a key assigned to pause / release the TrackIR but when I do that the TrackIR sortware seems to get confused. I have even ha…

Could anyone owning the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke confirm if they also have a small play ^ deadzone in the middle position of the yoke. I am not talking about a deadzone setttable inside FSX but rather a distinctive mechaniocal play of the yoke even when turned off and disconnected. As if the yoke is slightly wiggling left and right before it actually moves along its axis. I dont know how to word it otherwise...Thank you,Alex

Hello,I am using the Saitek yoke and add on TQ. I have managed to get everything calibrated in FSX with FSUIPC but I am having one problem that I can't figure out. There are 6 axis levers. From left to right, they are assigned as the following:First TQ (one that came w/yoke)SpoilersThrottle eng 1Throttle eng 2Add on TQThrottle eng 3Throttle eng 4FlapsThe problem is that I can't get the n1% to equalize between the eng1&2 and eng3&4. the thrust levels inputted by the levers and the different TQs varies by 10%-20%. Full thrust and idle are the same for both TQs. I tried adjusting the slope which equalizes the n1% when I advance the throttles 50% (physical axis positio…

Hello all, i need your help. I own the saitek av8r and up untill now its done the job for me pretty well, but earlier on i was about to fly in fs2004 when it started to behave strange. Basically its become very over sensitive on the rudder(twist grip) and when the throttle is at idle, one slight movement and i mean slight, sends the plane into full throttle. I have a dual booted rig and on d i use windows 7 with fsx and all is fine there :( ive even compared the settings to vista where i have fs2004. I havent actually messed with any settings to warrent this problem so im in desperate need for all sugestions. Thanks for any help guys,Chris
