I'm using Saitek Throttle Quadrant (Single Engine), & I like it very much, since I 'm considering to move to Twin-Engine, I'm wondering if Saitek came out with Multi Engine version, (don't really like the one that CH came with) & if not, who else is offering Multi-Engine Throttle QuadrantAny idea.TnxYair

I'm about to take the plunge with the Saitek Yoke/Quadrant, but am wondering if I'll be able to fix it onto my desk. I've searched here, no luck.I have an ooooold desk, with a drawer in an inconvenient spot just below where I'd mount the Yoke. There's about 6" between desktop & drawer bottom.Am I going to be able to clamp it? If not, I saw it suggested that heavy-duty velcro might work if the clamp doesn't - any views on that please?

I got some cash to spare, but not unlimited, and was looking at specs and reviews of both theSaitek X52 and X52 Pro HOTAS.Honestly, I find it hard to do a side by side comparison, as they appear similar in options. Can someone point the main difference between the two?Much obliged,Eytan Ornstein

Hi all.My system is a Q6600 3GHz, 4GB ram, 8800 GTX 768MB, W/XP 32 bit SP3.Joystick/throttle/pedal combo is a Thrustmaster F22+TQS+CH ProPedals (all the stuff is the old gameport version).- The F22+ TQS+CH ProPedals (rudder) are connected through a Sound Blaster live! card, of which I use only the gameport, with SB sound disabled via device mgr (see picture).- The CH toe brakes are connected through a USB/gameport adapter. All is perfectly working, without any stutter (FSX SP2).Yesterday I tried DPC latency tool with FSX running and discovered, much to my surprise, that latency values were very high (some 2000 microseconds) with the joystick connected. Then I disabled the …

I got a new computer a few months ago with Vista64. Most my FS peripherals work fine except for a small issue with the CH rudder pedals. Frequently when I start FSX the rudder pedals are not recognized. However, if I unplug the USB and plug it back in they work just fine. I have recently upgraded to Win7 and the problem is still there. Does anybody have any ideas how I can fix this problem of having to uplug/plug-in the rudder USB every FS session? Thanks.Bill

I don't know why its happening but Force Feedback is all over the place with this thing. I'll set A/P on, then go back in to manual flight but when I try and grab the joystick, the thing hops up and down about 3 times. I'm hardly touching it... Its like its playing a game of catch me or something because it moves hard and really fast. I don't bolt it down, so the thing litterally bounces about 2-3 cm each time it hops. Now I could turn FF back off but that ruins the experience. I turn it down to defaults and its doing this, and on default levels it feels week enough.Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this or had some sort of fix. I mean... I'll have to ta…

Hi all,After a couple of years on the CH yoke, I went ahead and bought the saitek yoke + switch panel + extra throttle unit. The yoke itself has been giving me trouble - I plug it in, and the LCD panel lights up fine, works fine, and it's recognised by windows as it should be, and works flawlessly in the calibration test system under XP/Vista.After a minute or two, it will go dead; the computer registering a disconnect, and the LCD display going blank. After another couple of minutes, it will 'connect' again, and after a couple of these cycles, I get a 'Blue Screen of Death', which flashes up too fast for me to read it.This occurs on my gaming PC, laptop (both running XP)…

I am trying to help a friend of mine over the telephone setup and calibrate his peddles.I had him click the Simple Controls radio button and set his Sensitivity to 127 full right and Null zones to 0 full left. Then hit OK. When he checks the setting again after trying them the Advanced Controls radio button is selected. Shouldn't the Simple Controls radio button have stayed. What am I missing? Thanks to all who reply.Bill

Need help with a deadzone issue.... specifically in the vertical axisI've had TIR 5 since xmas and it's finally growing on me except some glaring issues. Why is it I can look down, almost straight down in my chair but I can't look up much higher than 35 degrees? Here's a shot from the L39, first, a normal view, and then the farthest tilt up I can use before the light on my TIR unit goes out (and it won't register my track clip pro)I'm using the profile found on the Naturalpoint forums entitled Seth - Flight

When I updated to new HW and Win7-64, my CH pro pedals becase obsolete; seems gameport is no longer supported by MS.Rather than sinking $100 into another pair of pedals, decided to swap the electronics inside to make it a USB controller. Follow the instructions here:http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/showthread....USB&p=23405I got a $21 Logitech Attack3 USB joystick from Fry's and used the throttle axis for the rudder axis. After calibration it works great. Pat

Hi, I am just starting in flight sims and have just bought the Saitek Pro Yoke with throttle quadrant. Have plugged it in for my first ever use of Microsoft X flight Sim and the yoke works fine but the throttle quad doesnt. I just want to use one of the levers as a throttle for a Cessna 172 but none of the levers work. The green light on the quadrant is on and I have checked that the plug is in ok but so far no luck when operating the levers. I had a look in the FS controls set up to see if there was anything in there to adjust but nothing seems to work. I downloaded the latest drivers for the yoke but these drivers have no options or setting for the quadrant in them. I h…

Is there an easy way to set up a hat switch with FSUIPC ordo you have to set up each switch individually? Any tips would be appreciated.

I seem to be having a problem with my MCP autopilot disconecting locking up while in use. I am trying to use it in conjuction with Feel There's ERJv2 which offers support for the module but while using the unit everything seems to be working fine and then it just freezes. The displays lock and the knobs on the panel have no affect on the aircraft. It's as if the FSX data bridge.exe has stopped working or the USB cord was unplugged but the unit is still getting power and is plugged directly into the back of my CPU not via a hub.My other modules GF166's and RP48 continue to function properly even when the MCP fails.Any ideas or suggestions?I have the unit plugged directl…

I recently had to do a clean re-install of FSX. I also installed Windows 7. For some unknown reason my pedals are not recognized by FSX. They are recognized by the system and the CH software but not FSX. Any suggestions?

Hello,I am considering to buy new rudder pedals. I took a look to the items of Flight Link, ELITE and Simaviatik. Of course the price of these pedals is very high. So I am asking myself, whether I would get real value for my money.Unfortunately, I didn't found any reviews. So I would like to ask any owners of such pedals to post their experience. Are you satisfied with the performance of your pedals? Are they really durable? For me very important: is precise taxiing easier with these pedals? And: are they compatible with Win 7 and FSX?Kind regardsArndt

I'm in the process of adding key press combinations into the Input.ini file of the Cessna Citation Mustang that was recently added to this product. However, I can't seem to find the correct format for using the keypad keys adjacent to the main keyboard characters. For example, I've tried the following examples for the keypad forward slash key, "/"1) Num / -- same format as what is in the FSX button key setting controls area of FSX, but it failed2) Num/ -- this format failed. This is the same format used by FSUIPC4 when using the "Key Presses" feature.3) KP/ - this format failedSo my question is, how should I format key presses when using the number pad entries, for Num/, …

Hi,I was just wondering if anyone knows whether a MS Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick could possible cause FS9 to freeze? This is the problem I have - I have a brand new custom-built i7-920 (OC to 3.4Ghz) which should (and does) run FS9 and FSX like a dream, set up according to NickN's guide. Except that FS9 is prone to occasional random freezes or lockups, where the sim freezes and can only be recovered by using task manager to end the program. I have tried disabling the various high-end addons such as UT but I still get the problem. The OS is XP64, FS9.exe has been made large-address aware. I noticed that the only drivers available for the joystick are from the W9…

Hello folks,I'm using FS9, a Saitek X52, Vista Ultimate x86 with the newest updates. I was flying fine up until yesterday morning, took a break, and tried to fly just a few hours ago, and my joystick rudder axis appeared to keep jamming left in FS9. The airplane was marginally controllable on the ground, but became uncontrollable in the air for obvious reasons. The interesting thing is that the Saitek config utility shows the axis as fine! Not doing anything! I unbound the axis and viewed the airplane from outside, and it was obvious the rudder was in full left deflection until I disabled the joystick and hit NUM-5. Upon reactivating the joystick, the rudder went back to …

I hope someone can tell me how to set my Saitek Cyborg Evo to control the Pitch and Roll but not the Rudder and at the same time have my Saitek Pro Pedals configured for toe brakes.I can't get this to work properly. If I choose the pedals and set toe brakes I lose configuration in the Joystick.I'm using FSX.CheersRod

I recently installed FSUIPC, and for some reason decided i should use their joystick calibration program. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to use the calibration feature in FSUIPC, and whatever I did, when I attempt to "rotate" during takeoff, the plane violently noses up, and then when I try to bring the nose down, the aircraft pitches out of control... Its like the "turbo" button is pushed... lol...Anyone know how to get my controls back to normal?Thank you in advance!
