Hi,I need your technical help.I launch SimTouch (http: // www.simtouch.eu/) on my main monitor, and FSX in window mode (necessarily, otherwise I would not see SimTouch). The tab Map displays and reacts correctly (that is that I see well my plane moving on the map).As soon as I put Simtouch on my second monitor (USB with DisplayLink), no more map : the display for this tab becomes black. On the other hand, all other tabs (of SimTouch) display correctly and work well...Thank you for your help(assistant).Bruno.precision : all my drivers are update, especially GC and displayLink (for usb monitor) ...

Hi Everyone,I have been having a weird problem with my GoFlight hardware "disappearing" after a while in Win7 Ultimate 64 bit. I've installed the most recent GF drivers (W7-64 compatible, they claim), and it still happens. The hardware modules will just vanish from recognition by the GF Config program and by FSX/FS9, and I have to reboot my system t get them to come back. Also, sometimes the lights on various modules stop working. I have their full airliner captain setup with dual EFIS controls. Has anyone else had these problems? (I can't remember if it did this in WinXP Pro 32 bit or not....haven't used it since 11/09). Thanks for any help anyone can provide...Jim

I've just purchased two new Saitek ProFlight Panels; the Switch-Panel and the Multi-Panel.I also bought a Pro-Flight Yoke & Throttle, but as an ex-display item (missing clamps and driver CD).The problem... Only the Switch Panel will work when plugged into the rear USB hub on the yoke.To get the Multi-Panel working, I have to plug directly into a PC USB port.I notice there's a 5volt power input socket on the yoke. Must I power this in order for both panels to work?My question... Should there have been a power supply with the yoke? Thanks

I have downloaded the newest drivers, the light is on the second unit indicating it is plugged in but in my control panel only one quadrant is showing up and in FSX only one is showing up to assign commands. Anyone else have this issue?

I've recently switched from CH yoke to Saitek Pro Flight yoke and have some problems. Just wondering if anyone else has had this...The yoke itself I MUCH prefer - the build quality seems vastly better than the CH.However, the problem I have is that the 'HAT' switch for panning is on the opposite side to CH model. It seems I just can't get use to it and end up often in a real mess trying to get the right possition. Sounds silly I know, but it can be disastrous when on short final at places like Kai Tak:Black Eye: I'm right handed and the CH yoke had the switch on the right. Could that be the issue, or do think time and practice will get me there eventually with the Sai…

I know it wasn't expensive but.... you have to work on this thing a bit before flying. To get the lube out of the way. You have to use a non-petrolium lube or things are going to melt. Use a silicone "grease". It has to be real thick not thin. You want to have a greasy sticktion (?). Actually your local pool store will have "Magic Lube". Thicker the better. As for the nasty center detent affect that the designers didn't seem to notice or think we wouldn't notice, There is a simple fix. Elevator, there are 2 springs, one on to one below that's hard to see. This on is not screwed inplace. Grap that sucker with some pinnose plyers and set it asside. That's it. Short of buyin…

I've gone through ALL the posts I could find on AVSIM regarding the Saitek Pro Yoke to see if it's possible to remove or lessen the effect of the centre detent in pitch mode.I bought mine last month to replace my ancient CH Yoke and (in most respects) it feels more realistic and smoother than the CH product apart from the annoying centre-detent in pitch movement.Has anyone successfully eased or removed the centre detect position on their Saitek Yoke? I don't really want to take it apart (and void the warranty) unless I can find a reliable modification. Some posters talk about cutting or removing springs which sounds a bit extreme

...for twin engine airliner a/c?For my VRS F/A-18 Superbug (and previousely for Janes F/A-18 E/F) I use Thrustmasters HOTAS Cougar, which I really love. Both it's build quality, performance and flexible programming capabilities are top of the line. Now I'm looking for something in the same league, but for commercial airliners and exec twins. So, can you recommend a top notch yoke and quadrant that matches a/c like the PMDG 737 NGX and the RealAir Beech Duke?My setup is Vista, Intel Core Duo Cpu E8400 @ 3,00 GHz x 2, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470, BenQ M2700 HD DVITIA

New yoke now installed (many thanks to those who responded to my "desk fitting" thread - all has worked well in that department).I have issues with the thing sticking in pitch axis. So as I pull out, or push in, I get resistance, to which I need to apply more pressure, then the resistance gives, so of course I get an unexpected zoom, and this is, as you can imagine, not good when landing.Anyone had a similar experience?I've posted on the Saitek fora, but the only reply so far is "me too" - and I need to take a view whether to return this thing, soon.I love the aileron movement - so very smooth and natural - also the throttle unit - so I'm loathe to send it back, but fran…

Hi,I am wondering if WinXP saves the joystick calibration data in some file which I could make a backup of or even modify manually. The reason is I built a throttle quadrant from an old joystick and I want to adjust only one axis. Going through the standard calibration always messes up my other axes.Any help is much appreciated.T.

I've been looking at the Saitek Pro Flight gauges for some time, but before I buy, I'd like to know if there are any addon gauges or displays available. For example, if I want to fly a P-51, could I download a vintage-style airspeed indicator to go with it? If so, where would I find one?

Hi,I recently purchased this as my Cyborg 3D does not work with Win 7 64bit (and its quite old now). I assigned the buttons to the functions that i wanted, but the top two buttons still control landing gear up and down, even though they are not assigned in FS. This happens with FS9 and FSX. I have tried various ways of assigning and deleting functions, but the landing gear still operates form these buttons. Does anyone know why this is or how i can prevent it? I have the buttons on the top of the stick assigned to cycling views forward and back. ThanksMataus

I've been away for a while and it feels good to be back.Software: XPSP3 / FS2004 / Registered FSUIPCHardware: CH Yoke / CH pedals / two Saitek 3 axis controllersI've programmed the single engine, twin and four-engine setups and all are fine.I'm having the darnedest time programming/calibrating the speed brake axis, especially for the PMDG 737NG and LDS 767.Can anyone suggest the best way to calibrate the axis to 1. move into the ARMED mode and then 2. axis movement to gradually open the speed brakes? I may program a button to ARM it but still need the axis to gradually open/close the speed brake. Many Thanks.Jim

I just took delivery of the CH Eclispe Yoke and CH Rudder Pedals. Yoke works well but I am having some difficulty programming hats and buttons. I want the left hat controller to work for electric trim and the right hat to work for views. I'm having trouble getting the left hat to work as electric pitch trim. I've tried setting up the Yoke buttons from within FSX controller menu but seem to be missing something. I am using MS Vista 32.Thanks in advance.

Using both my Saitek X52 Throttle or my CH Yoke Throttle, I can't get the throttle at full 0% idle or full 100% thrust. I've calibrated both devices and also have Null Zone to 0 and Sensitivity to Max. I've also made sure the throttle axis is not assigned to anything else that could be interfering. If I use the mouse to manipulate throttle or F1/F4 keys it reaches both 0% and 100% fine. It seems to be an issue exclusive to FSX. I've done as much searching on this issue as I could and it seems many people have this 1-99% issue but I've yet to find a solution.Any thoughts or experience with this?
