Hardware Controllers: Joysticks/Yokes | Throttle Quads | Rudder Pedals | Drivers etc

Hello All Noble FlightsimmersI have been lucky enough to get a CH Throttle quadrant at christmas, and have also pedals and yoke. Now som functions are the same from the flight yoke and Throttle (single engines control on the yoke = throttle,mixture, and prop) I would really like to use the set of levers on the yoke to be used as gear,spoiler and parking brake. Anyhow is seems that i am not able to change the function, because they are not assigned as the other buttons (not accesible via the control menu in FSX).Further i would like to set up the Throttle Q to reverse thrust, it dosent work, and i cant figure out how to program. Having a problem recently. My Saitek Yoke is causing large fps drops in FSX whenever I move the yoke and the control surface movements have become very jerky. This same yoke performs perfectly well in FS2004. The SST software is installed as well.Anyone able to help?ThanksShez

Hi,All of a sudden I have the problem that FSX will not detect my TrackIR 4 Pro anymore. I did however since my last flight when all worked fine replace my FSX HDD with a new one but I'm not sure if that could be related to this problem in any way? Everything else in FSX works just fine since the HDD swap and I simply copied all files from the old drive to a temp backup drive and then back to the new drive.I'm running FSX SP2 on Windows 7 64-bit and using the 4.1 Build 37 TrackIR software since I have problems with lots of erratic movements in FSX when using the latest TrackIR software.Thanks alot in advance for your help how to get FSX detect my TrackIR again!//Richard

GentsI am having, a serious problem with my Saitek Pedals. Eeverytime I apply the brakes with my Saitek Pedals, the brake remains locked...And on the Windows bottom left it says brake. I have tried and tried many things for the past week and I am unable to find a solution to this. Now, I am unable to fly becuase the brakes remain "Locked-on" I will greatly appreciate it if you can provide me any type of guidelines how to resolve this.. Well I have had the G940 for about 1 week now and for that whole time, the unit wasn't getting full throttles in FSX (sitting between 10-75%) and the brake with the toe brake was constantly on.So I thought I might save another person a week of looking for the answer to these quirky issues.By default the G940's assignments are all over the place. And I really mean that. The Toe brakes work as Ailerons which isn't great when your trying to come to a halt with a bit of speed. 1st order of business. Approximately 50% of the time when the mics are keyed within squawkbox 4 (FS9) I hear a noticable "chainsaw starting" burst before voice comes on--the voice is perfect but it's that annoying micro-burst of noise when mics are keyed at the very beginning that causes you to jump. The other half of the time, everything works fine. I was wondering, what would cause that noise to happen in half the cases? I try to duplicate exactly the steps I take when there is no noise and it seems completely random. I've tried reinstalling SB-X Fi extreme sound drivers etc, and squawkbox, but nothing seems to help. I am having a senior moment. I forgot how to program the controller to steer the nosewheel. I was using my older Sidewinder to steer but suddenly it's gone on the fritz. After repeated attempts to calibrate the sidewinder still will not work correctly. So I am back to the Saitek and I need some help. TKS

I'm unable to engage CH Eclipse Yoke - Throttle/Prop/Mixture controls after spending about 1-hour of continous FSX and PC reboots. I've also rebuilt FSX.cfg and am considering re-installing the yoke from scratch. These controls are only operating properly in about 1 of 8 FSX start-ups regardless of type aircraft including the default Cessna. All other yoke controls and buttons work perfectly . For twin-engine operations, the Elite King Air and MEL throttle quadrants are used without issue. I have been using my Saitek Rudder Pedals for 2 years but have recently encountered a problem.The right rudder pedal toe has become overly sensitive. If I just place my foot on it the right differential brake becomes active and the plane lurches right. I have tried to remove the sensitivity in FS but to no avail.I checked the sensitivity in the Saitek software and found that the right pedal was behaving erratically and jumping around when pressed while the left was smoothly progressive.This is not the common brake always on problem....ThanksShez
