Hello!I'm having a really weird problem here:With the stock DC-3, I have sticking controls (no movement, then extreme movement) with my right rudder and aileron, and down elevator, and only with those controls, i.e. left aileron and rudder and up elevator work fine!I checked in FSUIPC and the IN and OUT values for each axis increment/decrement smoothly throughout the entire range of control movement, so nothing wrung with my CH Yoke and Pedals, CH Manager Calibration and FSUIPC config (recall the OUT values move smoothly.)Any ideas?Cheers,- jahman.

Hi everyone. My Saitek Pro-flight throttle quadrant just doesn't want to work with Wilco/Feelthere Airbus series. I can use it with other aircraft, but for this one it just wont respond. What is strange is i have been using these two products together since I got the T/Q in December, but today, Nothing will work. I can use the Keyboard and the slider on my Logitech Extreme 3D pro, which is strange.Does anyone else have this issue? any help will be appreciated. Thankyou.

Would any Real Life pilot tell me if real aircraft yokes are self centring? i.e. you're banking left and you let the yoke/pedals go, would the controls go to 'neutral' in the same way as a car would. Let the car's steering wheel go and it would centre its wheels. Not that I think the aircraft would start to fly straight but would maintain the current attitude. Am I making sense? :blush:Part two of the question is: If real aircraft 'self centre, does FSX model this behaviour? It occurred to me because my CH yoke/pedals have, what I think, are too 'positive' springloads. That's to say artificial centring.

Hey guys,I finally took the plunge and got myself a set of Saitek combat rudder pedals and a Saitek Yoke (with the three axis quadrant included). I've had a go at setting it up however have been reading a few things in here about not using the default Saitek software, or in fact using the FSX software for assignments. So, a couple of quick questions..1) Since I'm running the rudder pedals and the yoke, should I plug the USB from the rudder pedals into the yoke box, or directly into the computer itself? Will it make any difference? It seems some people have experienced problems one way or another. At the moment I have the pedals plugged into the yoke which is inturn plugge…

I have a VRInsight Flight Master Yoke. The yoke works very well but I am having trouble setting up the trim wheel. In "Settings-Controls" under the Buttons/Keys tab FSX detects the trim wheel as Button 30 (Elevator trim down) and Button 29 (Elevator trim up). All good so far. My problem is that the trim wheel does not adjust trim, rather it changes the angle of the cockpit view! Help :-(

I have recently purchased FSUIPC and am now setting up my controllers. FSUIPC seems to think the throttle is controlling the ailerons under the joystick calibration tab (in the Main flight controlls screen). In other words the throttle movement is registered in the "In/Out" aileron numbers. Any ideas?

I am running into throttle issues with my FS setup on my new system. The throttle control is not linear but logarithmic. On my old system it works fine. I have removed the axis assignments in FSX for my TQ6, in GFConfig have all the axsis set to [NONE]. When I try to callibrate in FS using FSUIPC this is the Flight Control Response curve I see. Notice that the change is 50% up the slope. It almost like a 50% null zone. The screenshots are for the default MS172 but Iam having the same issue on all aircraft.Any Ideas on this. I have deleted fsuipc.ini to see if that would help but no luck. I have tried connecting the TQ6 directly to the PC and not going through a usb …

I have just bought a Saitek Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant to go along with my CH Products Yoke and Pedals. Based on many online recommendations I have decided to assign axes and calibrate all 3 controllers through FSUIPC. I have managed to sort out my yoke and pedals, but I am having a few issues with the TQ. If it's of any use to anybody, I have FSUIPC 3.98 registered version for FS9. I have successfully configured the throttle, such that the axis runs from 0% to 100%, and I have also assigned button command "Throttle Decr" for the reverse thrust, and have "Control to repeat while held" checked and "Throttle cut" for when the button is released. This seems to work fine. H…

Hello all, i have the Logitech Extreme 3d Pro running on windows 7 64-bit, and a few days ago i noticed when i use the POV knob for FSX it is quite choppy when the camera moves around. I also have a Saitek Pro Flight yoke with a POV knob and it does not do this. Any ideas on how to fix it?

It looks like my Saitek switch panel has stopped working. While the gear LEDs still show up, none of the switches have any effect. For those of you that have one that works, can you confirm something for me. In the "Saitek Pro Flight Switch Panel Test Page" application available from the Window start menu, do the buttons shown in the application change according to physical switchings made on the hardware panel itself?Mine just sit there, no matter which one I try to switch.ThanksSimon

Hello,Is there a possibility to create autothrottle motors for the Saitek Throttle? This would be nice, to have a very inexpensive throttle with the moving throttle levers when the Autothrottle is engaged. Here is an example of Autothrottle motors- owner of this video claims that this is home-built.

G'day simmersI am hoping someone can help me out here.I have the saitek switch panel (PZ55) and multi panel (PZ7) hooked up to the Saitek yoke and dual throttles. I ma having both panels freezing up after flying for a while. The switches stop working and the only solution is to restart the PC. The yoke and throttles work just fine throughout the flight. A friend suggested that I use the power adapter to power the hub to which all this gear is connected. Did that but the problem still appears. Anybody has any suggestions.Cheers.

Hi Guys, Hope you can help, I have the Saitek Multi Panel and a Comm Panel, which works fine with the FSX default aircraft, but both of these panels will notrespond with any addon aircraft, i.e PMDG 747, Level D 767, etc. I may have seen a post somewhere that you need FSUIPC to get these panels to work withaddon aircraft. Can someone verify this. Also if it is the case, do you need the full registered version of FSUIPC for them to work?.Thanks for looking.

Hi,I'm using an older Microsoft Sidewider joystick, and using Windows Vista. I recently had my computer sent in for minor video card repair work, and when I got it back, the joystick was no longer being detected. Reboots haven't helped, it's not showing up in the game controllers panel, and no matter how many times I replug it in within various ports, it's not detecting anything being plugged in. The joystick was working just fine before the computer was sent in, anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Hi allIt's hard to find the right twin jet lever top combination for the CH Products throttle products USB (those black tops are too thin). I've worked on a couple of cheap mods to improve the situation. Details, plans and the works on my blog: http://davenunez.wordpress.com/2011/04/16/ch-throttle-quadrant-twin-engine-mod/

Hi allI have successfully been using the entire Saitek yoke, throttle, pane and rudderl suite for almost two years now. They are great. But the Saitek yoke itself is just too harsh and springy and unrealistic on the centering action.So.....i have been thinking about purchasing a CH Products yoke as a replacement. The probelm is that i will also need to purchase another throttle quadrant as the saitek quarant which comes with the yoke is not USB (Saitek were clever here). Questions: 1. Is anyone using this type of alternative set-up ? If so, have you experienced any issues?2. What are your views on the CH Yoke compared to the Saitek yoke?Thankserich

I am in the process of moving my FSX over to a new Jetline computer. For convenience I will be using a remote USB hub for the cables from my CH yoke, pedals and TQ. I am wondering if I should go ahead and connect my TIR USB cable into the same hub or plug it directly into the computer. I seem to remember that the TIR folks at one time said connecting directly into the computer was best, but is that really true?

Hi all, Just sharing what worked for me. -=-=-=-= LONG VERSION =-=-=-=- Having "jitter" or random spikes in joystick is a very common problem and happens a lot on old or just low quality potentiometers. Sadly, both Saitek yoke and throttle are plagued with this problem. Mine started with this problem after a few months, reaching a state where you can barely find a position where it won't jitter. Any software based solution is not an option for me as it creates a lag and can't 100% cure the problem anyway. Anyway, the thing was that my Yoke was "imported" by a friend from far abroad and I just couldn't (nor wanted) to send it back. For the sake of discussion I will mentio…

Hi. I have posted over on the CH Hanger forum but no ideas yet.I would realy like to assign my CH Eclipse yoke levers to Gear Up/Down, Flaps Extend/Retract etc. In FSX with CHCM mapping as i am using seperate throttle. Has anybody succeeded in doing this? I have read that it can be done using registered FSUIPC but have just put out on this yoke and some other software, so have to wait a while. Thanks,

Just got my CH Eclipse yoke out of the box and installed with software but don't have a clue how to create a profile of button assignments. Software does not appear to come with a manual so am wondering if there is any literature on this. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello out there is "Sim-land." I need a spot of help. If anyone has the Saitek combat pedals I need a dimension. If you look at the pedals from a top-down viewpoint, what is the distance (in inches please) between the flat spot between the two front projections and the back of the pedal base. I need this for a particular installation. Thanks so much.Frank

Hello AllToday I bought this joystick and on a very quick fiddle about it does appear to be very impressive for its price. There is just one thing though whilst mapping most of the simulator commands is very straightforward,I cant map the F9 key to a button on the stick (to open and close fs nav )I could do this with my old Saitek cyborg .Maybe I am missing something as I have only had the stick a couple of hours.Any ideas welcomeAndy
