Hi Folks! Can anyone tell me where I can buy a replacement POT for my Saitek pro-pedals? Mad Catz wont sell me any parts , they want to sell me the whole unit- they told me ' we dont carry parts, these things are made in china' The pot body is so small that I fear it is a special product made for Saitek. Thanx in advance for allowing me to pick your collective brain. My flight pedals are getting ready to STB. It seems that ( with a lot of research) the most accurate and reliable are the Simped pedals from Germany. Have you bought them? whats the skinny? most of all what was your cost in USD? I know this is not a ' review' section however the best info comes from the customer- thats U. So pardon my query- but your experience will make the difference between spending the money and sleeping on the couch!

Hi everyone. I am planning on buying an additional throttle quadrant to go along with the one that came with my saitek yoke. I was wondering if the stand-alone quadrant plugs into a usb port or does it need to connect with that rounded plug that the one that ships with the yoke uses? Also, exactly what and how many extra lever heads come with it? Thanks. hamoody

Hey guys, quick question, sorry if it's been asked before did a quick search and didn't come up with anything. Anyways, I've been using my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke velcro'd (sp?) to my desk now for about 3 years but am switching desks and need to use the clamp. Unfortunately I've misplaced the clamp and can't seem to find it. Really don't want to use velcro again as it becomes weak after moving the yoke on and off and crap and dirt gets under it easily. Was just wondering if Saitek sold the yoke clamp/screw as an OEM item or if anyone else has improvised clamps for the yoke. I made a ticket at the Saitek website a few days back asking if they sold/would send me a new one an…

Hi I have posted this message on the Saitek forum but it is fairly quiet on that forum and I am unable to contact Saitek Technical Support by mobile telephone in UK from Australia as it is the weekend our/their time. I was hoping to fully immerse myself in some flying this weekend now that I have finally finished a special project. This is the message I posted on Saitek forum with attachment. "Hi Have bought X52 Pro approx 1 month ago after untold problems with Logitech G940. Installed X52 Pro and I believed everything was working OK. Latest drivers installed on Win7 2600K 8gig Nvidia 570. I programmed the buttons on X52 via FSX Settings/Controls. Hav…

Hey guys so I looking to build my own homemade yoke and returning the Saitek yoke that I bought last week. I like the saitek but I feel like for that price and maybe even just under $200 I could build a fully fuctional yoke. My only problem now is that where am I supposed to buy just the yoke? Maybe a real one or is that a distrubuter out there that sells just yokes? I am using this guide (with a few of my own mods) to make this work. Or atleast I would like to! Let me know if any of you guys have any ideas and maybe would like to help me! If I can do this, I will start a nice thread that will guide my entire progress. Thanks guys. Cheers, Vanka EDIT: Here is the…

Hi captains, As my FSX is getting better and better I'm buying more and more things to improve it even more. Next up is the mouse! I'm currently using a cheap Acer mouse with only a left- and right-click button, a scroll wheel and that's it. It does a pretty good job but I'd like 2 extra features: 1. A few extra programmable buttons for gaming, these mouses are not hard to find. 2. This feature is something I can't seem to be able to find but I know it exists. If you have the PMDG 737NGX you'll know it will take ages if you have to make big adjustments to the the BARO knob using the scroll wheel. Well I've heard a while ago from Ryan that he had a mouse with a s…

Hey guys, A few months back I got a saitek yoke and throttle set. I installed and flew for these few months flawlessly. About a month ago i reformatted the hard drive due to it being full of excess files and such and was just looking for a fresh start. Everything went great with the reformatt. Reinstalled fsx set it all up great then i went to install the yoke. I putthe CD in and did not plug the controller in untill it told me to. It installed and did the reboot as suggested, the axis config popped up everything was great axis were smooth and functioning. I opened fsx started a flight fsx was running like a dream, plane was screaming down the runway and i pulled back on…

I have a Saitek throttle quadrant (1 throttle/prop/mixture), and am thinking of either adding an additional Saitek quadrant to get enough levers for full twin operations, or getting a CH quadrant which will give me 6 levers that I can program in the same way. I have the CH yoke and rudder pedals, and the existing Saitek quadrant seems “flimsy” in comparison, although with nothing else to compare it to it may be the way the CH quadrant is too. If anyone has experience with both products, can you recommend one over the other? What I do like about the Saitek product is it’s full 90 degrees of lever motion, from horizontal to vertical. The CH product, just from the …

Hi- I've noticed something odd about my keyboard and joystick (TM Warthog) which has always been the case, I finally decided to try and find out what's up. When I press either for whatever command, the screen will flash between what currently appears on the screen and what I want to see (ex. spot view) for a few milliseconds. It's almost like the keyboard press or joystick input sees it as multiple (repeated) commands for a few milliseconds before making the switch. For example, going from the VC down to the FMC in the PMDG Ngx (w/EZDok), this flashing is really evident. Is there a way to check exactly what is happening here? I can't believe this is standard behav…

I was curious if anyone uses the Saitek Pro Flight Switch Panel with MS Flight? And was wondering about compatibility. In Flight, as far as I can tell some cockpit switches cannot be mapped separated. For example, I don't think there are separate mapping options for each set of lights. But on the panel, there is a separate switch for nav lights, landing lights, etc... ('L' operates all lights) Or another example, on the Icon for landing gear up/down, currently I use the same button, and it switches position. But on the Switch Panel it has a two way switch it seems, and I wonder if that would operate correctly as intended. So basically I'm wonder if all the switches a…

Now my problem is geared more so towards Battlefield 3... Anyways I have the Saitek Pro Flight kit (Yoke, throttle and rudders) with the addition of another throttle. I also have a Razer Onza in which I use to play Battlefield 3. However, within BF3, it always takes my Saitek controllers as a priority over my Onza. Which is amazingly annoying as I have to disconnect my Saitek Flight kit in order to play BF3, then hook it up again when I want to fly. Is there any way to increase the priority of the gamepad? I have it currently set to my "Preferred Device" in Control Panel > Devices & Printers > Game Controller Settings > Advanced... Any suggestions…

I just got a new Saitek throttle quadrant to replace one that was 4 years old that had a lever that apparently had a dirty potentiometer and was spiking. The unit was out of warranty and Saitek said there was no repair path. The new TQ lacks a meaningful detent before you enter the reverser button section at the bottom of its travel. My old TQ, as well as a second one that I have which is also 4 years old, both stop the lever action on the way down with a firm detent before you enter the reverser range. With this new one, I find that I am not feeling the detent and often wind up firing up the reversers when I have no intention to do so. I was wondering if anyone else …

Hi again, I'm sure some of you have seen my earlier post; I've now worked out how to do it from another forum, but to do it, I need to set the microstick's axes to manual through the CCP, but even having looked through much of the manual, I have no idea how, some help with this, in as simple terms as possible would be great. Regards, Charlie

Hi there, for some background, I've bought a HOTAS Cougar off eBay which arrived today, I haven't had time to read the manual, so sorry for my ignorance. My question regards the assignment of the throttle RDR cursor slew key to the TGP slew key in DCS A-10C, is it possible, and if so, how? I have the TMS, DMS and CMS all set up, as well as the rest of the stick and the majority of the throttle, but with the RDR cursor having micro-axes instead of 'buttons', the DCS controls manager does not understand how to program it. If you can guide me on how to do this, that would be very helpful; I'd particularly appreciate if you could make it as basic a possible though as I do kno…

I've got a CH Eclipse yoke and have been looking to add pedals. After reading reviews, it seems that the best way to go is the new Saitek Cessna/Fighter pedals. I'm wondering if I can use these with my CH yoke? Thanks!
