Hardware Controllers: Joysticks/Yokes | Throttle Quads | Rudder Pedals | Drivers etc

I have 8 saitek instrument panels plugged into a satechi powered 12 port USB hub. I have two hubs actually. When I plug all eight panels into one hub, the blue led gets really dim and the panels don't start up. I'm pretty sure the hub is bad and plan to,send it back. When I plug them all into the other hub they turn on, but lock up from the get go. When I plug them in four in one hub, four in the other, they usually work or seven out of eight of them anyways. I've tried reinstalling the drivers. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, I am interested in using the Logitech G13 on FSX. I have read various comments in the forums, all positive, yet I can' t still figure out how this device can be so "..can' t do without it.." for FSX as it appears on various posts. I understand it can be a great added value for managing views (which anyway can be well managed via the keyboard), but what about VC panning ? Does it help in "moving around" in VC ? How is the little joystick used ? Thanks Regards

Ciao to all, I just got the Saitek Throttle and I would like to use it with the Ifly in fs9.. I did not understand how to asign the commands . I've also got registered FSUIPC... I've tried to use also SST but with no results...it seems the "throttle" has allready pre-assigned buttons (for instance "change of view" etc...) Is there a way to turn off the neon green LED panel on the Saitek Pro Flight System yoke?

I've got the Saitek radio, multipanel, and switch panel. I don't want to attach them to the yoke because that would block the view of screens I have placed behind the yoke. I haven't seen any info on the Saitek website or in stores indicating that there is a freestanding base or rack that the panels can be attached to. The problem is that the tower that forms when you stack the panels atop one another is somewhat unstable, vertically, and there are no non-skin pads or anything on the bottom, so when you try to activate the switches, especially for the landing gear, the tower is prone to toppling over, unless you hold it steady with one hand while operating the switche…

Hi, I just noticed the remarkably low-priced 747 EFIS from Opencockpits, with a price tag of 144 Euros. Since I fly my airliners in FSX most of the time, I was wondering if there is a way to easily set up this panel with the LDS 767, PMDG 747 and PMDG NGX. I only fly in FSX. Is there a driver out there that does what I'm looking for? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

HI Can anyone offer assistance or advice when it comes to calibration/slope via FSUIPC to achieve the most realistic feel for a default mooney? I totally understand the consept of using fsuipc's slope. But what I don't understand, is how the Mooney should feel, at least as close to possible. So can somone offer a good start point and some guidance to get this as close as possible? Thanks E

I have the VRi EFIS?MCP?COM and have just done a PC clean up and reinstall of FS9 and today I tried to make a flight with my Level-D 767 and wnen I went to start the panel I got a message telling me the "Devices not found check connections". Everything is plugged in the same way it was before the clean up. I have never had this problem before, it is so easy to install and I don't know what's going on. Any help would be gratefully received..........Thanks in advance.........John

Hmm I've been doing flights today and been experiencing some odd joystick issues. So I load up FSX, set everything up and joystick is working and all fine. Then at random times it can just stop working altogether and I look in the controls menu of flight sim and it isn't listed as one of the devices. Although It still listed in device manager and I look in the settings and it seems to be working there but inside FSX it just stops. It does it at random times so I could be on the ground or in the air. Has anyone had this issue before or know a way to fix it? Never had it before. Joystick: Saitek X52 FS: FSX

Plan to buy a Saitek yoke, but not sure if the clamp is wide enough to fit over the thickness of my desktop (about 4 inches). CCan anyone tell me how big the clamp mouth is? Thanks

Well, my Cyborg X has just died yesterday, the rudder trimpot has a split contact that rendered the whole joystick unusable, specially since these parts are non serviceable (maybe if I short circuit two of the rudder wires, I could recover the rest of the stick, but still no rudder) :(. Anyway, I'm thinking about both Saitek X52s, the standard and the Pro. However, there are some differences starting with price ($40 more for the Pro in Amazon): - Stick stiffness: I understand the Pro is stiffer than the standard, but how high are the forces comparing with the Cyborg X? I did a search for this problem and found some FS9 related issues but nothing for FSX. My problem just cropped up so I'm thinking it may be that my pedals just need to be replaced, but since it's a problem that others have had I'll hope there maybe a an FSUIPC fix or something. The issue is that as soon as a even nudge one of the toe brakes, the "DIFFERENTIAL BRAKES" message appears on the screen and will not go away. The plane begins to slow and the only way to clear it is to turn on the parking brakes then turn them off. I am trying to assign the left hidden PTT button to a the CTL button. Using the STT profile software on the Pro flight Saitek. Simple you may think? Nomally I remember when you pressed the PTT it would tell you which area to complete the assinment in. IE D, A1, A2,B1 ect. That isn't working. OK great when you hover over the boxes the illustration highlights(in blue) the button which relates to the box, and where you put the assignment. In my case I just want to link CTL with the PTT switch. It is Button 1 I think. The trouble is that the PTT button is hidden in the illustration, it is not lighting up in blue when I hover over any of the the assinment boxes.…

Hi My Saitek X52 rudder is so erratic that I've had to unassign the axis to be able to taxi straight. A video on YouTube suggests that the potentiometer needs cleaning with 'tuner cleaner'. I can't seem to find this product in the UK, does anyone have any leads? Thanks

My current setup would be the my keyboard & mouse, the dual keyboard mod, and the logitech attack 3. Second trackir "pro" headset clip just broke. First the plastic piece that covers the wires on the back popped off and had to be glued. Then the joint where the little rubber o-ring is broke (again to be glued). Finally the trifecta, when the larger joint near the clamp snapped off (normal use). Believe me I am careful with my hardware and possessions, but this thing is obviously made on the cheap. Sigh..

Hi Folks, I remember back - when I was a boy (10years ago :P ) The Microsoft Force Feedback Pro joystick reigned supreme in the peripheral department. Some of my best memories are using it to play NFS Hot Pursuit, FFB in all its glory made the game very satisfying for the time. I think i,m pulling the trigger on a new yoke. Just wanted to see if anyone knew the difference between the PFC Saab Desktop yoke and the PFC 737 yoke. The 737 yoke is $300 more Is it worth the extra cash? I fly the NGX the most and will also fly the PMDG 777 when it comes out.Also should I get the Hall effect model or just the plain one? hello I have just been given a set of thrust master elite rudder pedals unused! boxed ,with a games port connection? ,is there anyway these can be used with win 7 64 bit or is it a case of just put them in the skip? I've got the Go Flight throttle quadrant plus the CH Yoke. With turboprops, they seem to almsot have power set to 25% so I start moving immediately. Where as with jets, I don't move, the power appears to be set at 25% (lowest value). The yoke power is set to 0, the mixture and prop pitch are set to full. I use the ch Manager. Any ideas how to make props work better?
