I guess I'm more casual when it comes to my flight sim and as such I use a gamepad. Thing is they only have like 10-12 buttons and you have to reach for the keyboard ALL the time. Okay so I was in the process of uninstall and reinstalling ifly737, FSUIPC and FScrew2 for ifly737 and after reinstallation Great time I run fsx after it loads the main menu my mouse cursor goes to the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and it won't move from there when I try to move it just goes right back instantly and when I click at the spot where it's not moving from it shows the desktop and the cursor moves to the top left-hand corner of the screen and and won't move from that spot the only way I can get it to move freely again to press (control alt delete) and logoff which forces fsx to l Close and then log back on. still happening even sense I uninstalled all …

I am looking for an MCP for use with various airplanes in FSX. I usually fly the PMDG MD11, QW757, PMDG 737NGX, and a few others on occasions. What I am trying to get at is that I use various payware planes. During my research I have come across a few possibilities and wanted to get feedback from the AvSim community since it is so large. Currently I am looking at the Saitek Multipanel or the VRInsight MCP Combo. The VRI MCP Combo II is also a possibility; however, it appears to be more specialized. Hello all, This is a problem that has troubled me on my computer the past few years and it usually doesn't frustrated me unless I accidentally unplug my Saitek X52 Pro from my computer while FS is running :P When I accidentally unplug my X52 Pro (or older X52 when I used that stick), my computer instantly blue screens and reboots. Any chance anyone may have any insight or ideas why? Or, even better, a way to fix this (yes, I know...just don't unplug my joystick)? Thanks!

Hello All Could someone tell me if when I try to to update divers using the list of hardware in Device manger ,what is searched ,is it just locations within your own PC or does the update function search the internet as well? When using this option I always get the message that I have the latest driver and no better option could be found. I have tried using driver collector programs and they always seem to come back with some of those same drivers that DO need updating contradicting the Device Manger method. PS are there any freeware driver updaters that anybody can recommend. Anyways cheers to all Andy

hi, i got my G940 replaced for the 2nd time and now all problems seem to be sorted out, however I still have the problem with fs2004, that after using the brakes, the brakes stay activated and can only be released after setting and releasing the parking brake, I've tried the sensitiviety settings and assignments, but the brakes dont get released without the parking brakes? I know that there was a fix for it by reseting something but I can't find it :(

Hey everyone, I've finally gotten around to taking some (crappy) pics of how I game & sim. This is an Obutto Ozone cockpit with the table top and flight sim addons. I have the triple monitor mount too but still rocking one monitor for now. I like the cockpit because it's fast and easy to switch between controllers, and it works just as well for a desk or playing any other type of game. This is how it looks in "regular desk" mode. Hey chaps. Been looking at the obutto ozone cockpit. I'd love to have somewhere to mount all my controllers, thrustmaster warthog, logitech g25 steering wheel and saitek yoke. I'm pretty fastidious and would like a cockpit which causes the mimimum disruption when changing between controllers, tidy cable management and would also allow me to mount triple monitors with a 4th touchscreen below the centre one. Does anyone own this cockpit or could you advise a better solution? Thanks S

I'm trying to calibrate my Saitek Pro Flight throttles using FSUIPC but I'm having trouble. In the Axis Assignment tab, when I move the throttle which is in the Z axis, the numbers don't move - they just sit at 16383. I've tired everything. Thanks for the help.

A few weeks back I began to experience an unhappy phenomenon where my FSX session would suddenly be interrupted by a very hard system lockup and a loud sound loop of the engine drone of my 737 which sounded like a loud BUZZING noise. The only action possible was a physical reset of the PC (hard reset). Note that this was NOT a Blue-Screen CTD. The video was frozen, the sound was looping. An additional problem was unexplained stutters that I could NOT seem to get rid of, no matter what I did with NVidia Inspector or the NVidia Control Panel (driver control software in Windows 7 for the GTX690). Folks I have an issue where the auto-throttle on the QW RJ is a bit dicky. It seems to be overridden by my X52 throttle slider when engaged. If I have the throttle set to idle for the entire flight, the auto-throttle works fine. I posted this on the QW support forum and it was suggested that I reduce the sensitivity and/null zone for the slider. Didn't sound that good an idea on a sliding device. The effect of that appears to simply be a reduced range of throttle, ie I can no longer reach full power with other aircraft. So is there a way I can reduce any 'noise' from the hardware and still maintain full range on the throttle? Or is it something else? Mike

I been trying to reinstall my saitek multi flight instrument. I downloads driver from their site but all it's does is scroll though the ad pics. It worked many times before. I guess I loaded it up while it was plagued in. Even more so the BIP. What the heck saitek get with it and someone help me plz. Maybe I'm not coping something to a file.

On both my Saitek Yoke and Logitech Extreme 3D Joystick the Throttle and Rudder sliders are not working properly. The Throttle operates up to about 80% but the Yoke is OK to the Left but very very little to the Right. All other aspects of both units are OK. I would be most grateful for any advice, particularly on the Rudder which causes absolute mayhem when trying to taxi Many thanks George

I have recently gained a Saitek Proflight Yoke with throttle quad. I plug the quad into the main body of the yoke. I had used the yoke on a win7 note book with great reliable results and now I have a new desktop PC the saitek is unreliable. I can set up and be flying then the yoke control drops out....I have no control over the plane. So I either have to unplug and plug in again to bring back the control or completely shut down FS9. Hello, I'm using a GoldX GXMU - 1201 serial to USB adapter (latest drivers installed) to power my PFC throttle quadrant setup (originally supplied with serial connectors hence the need for the USB to serial adapter). When I was using windows XP Pro, I had no issues whatsoever with the adapter. However, when I upgraded my PC about a year and a half ago (currently an alienware Aurora R2 with windows 7 home premium 64 bit installed), I've experienced random crashes while using FS9 that I've narrowed down to the USB to serial adapter ( Is there any way to establish a hot key of sorts that would reset the prolific drivers for the USB to serial adapter? Hey all, I'm having issues with my Saitek throttle quadrant. My prop and mixture levers aren't working correctly. When I move them from full to idle, they work, but when I move them back to full, in game it's only going to about 3/4 full and I have to use the mouse to move the lever the rest of the way. I've had them since January or February, and I've only tried to use them recently when I've thought I'd try flying some propliners. This is for FS9, with SPAD and the most up to date FSUIPC. Any help is appreciated.

I already picked up a radio panel from saitek, so I was thinking of adding the Multi panel as well.. but looking online there is very few out there in stock. The ones in stock seem to be way over price too. Does anyone know if this is a discontinuation issue or just low stock? Thanks

Hi Everyone For the last three years I have been using a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System for FSX work. I mainly fly PMDG stuff but also Carenado GA types as well. Over the last 6 months or so my throttle set up has become problematical with noisy pots making throttle and pitch controls very difficult to use without excursions from commanded inputs. I have tried cleaning them and it initially made a difference but now its every time that i have an issue. My question is has anyone jut bought the replacement throttle quadrant as the yoke part sems fine? Hi all, today my long awaited ButtKicker® Gamer2 arrived. Even after looking at the quick setup guide, I can't achieve the desired feel from it. So far I have connected the cables as instructed. I am quite confused with the Low filter cutoff/ High Cutoff Frequency & High on/off. I followed the instructions and adjusted the knob all the way to 160 on high cutoff frequency high to off for engine feed back and suddenly the machine started smoking! What sound channel should I select? i.e. Stereo/5.1 etc... I have a 5.1 sound card and I use Stereo setup for FSX atm. Regards, AJ

Hello, A few days ago I started to get a very annoying rudder problem. When I apply thrust, the plane automatically turns left. So either the rudder or the aileron is active somehow. I have no idea where this problem came from and I have not installed anything new, it just stepped into my Flightsim experience As you may imagine this is very irritating and I can't seem to fix it. I use the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X. I have uninstalled and installed the driver, tried a different USB port but with no luck... I have even defaulted all the control settings. I have no idea how to fix this very annoying problem and I would really appreciate it if someone is able to help…

My Saitek Pro rudder pedal toe brakes are too sensitive and it is impossible to use them without them pulling either left or right with differential brakes highlighting. I set them up using fsuipc calibration including the step size (vernier). I have dead zones at top and bottom of travel and reversed the signals. I also set profiles with 'S' shaped curves to lessen the sensitivity at the poles. The brakes work fine separately but it is impossible to coordinate the left and right brake positional data and prevent differential braking. The airplanes respond perfectly with keystroke braking. Should unassign the axis controls from fsuipc and try the fsx calibration or us…

Hi, My Saitek Pro Flight Yoke would be getting on about 3 years old now and i have had it sent for a dodgy hat switch and a dodgy X Axis. Now my warranty is stuffed, I have a bad y rotation. basically all it does is sort of follow the level of mixture I had but in the mean time it is jumping from full to cutoff and jumping all over the place making it impossible to fly. I had a go playing around with the null zone and sensitivity but that yielded no results. Is there anything with software I can do or is it hardware?

When I apply changes to the default Nvidia FSX profile, and hit apply changes, are these settings held only for that session, meaning that one has to change them each time they wish to fly with FSX using adjusted Nvidia profiles? When I make changes and hit apply, and close the application. and then restart Nvidia inspector selecting the MS FXS profile, it comes up without any previous changes I've made. Is the profile not saved? I don't know if my changes are being applied to FSX when I run it as I'm suspicious when I open up Nvidia Inspector only to have the defaults revealed.
