Hello, I've been an FSX user for well over a decade and haven't had a problem like this before (I can usually solve most issues that arise on my own). When using my mouse to set altitude, heading, and OBS/course bugs on both the 2D and virtual panels, each click advances/decreases the bug by 1,000, 10, and 10, respectively (instead of 100, 1, and 1 as it should). For example, in setting my altitude bug, each click advances me from 0 to 1,000 to 2,000, etc. instead of from 0 to 100 to 200, etc. And in the heading/OBS bug selection, it advances by 10 instead of 1 as I have explained. Hi, Having recently received my Saitek Multi Panel, I've been trying to get it to work with my favourite add-ons through SPAD, and all but the NGX failed. I found a neat 744X profile, but that didn't work at all. Even the PA A380 caused trouble in that the lights on the panel weren't lighting up properly. Would these problems be solved if I registered FSUIPC4? Also, could I do a bit of custom programming to create a Level D 767, PMDG MD-11 and PMDG 777 profile in FSUIPC? I have read a few threads on here however this is more a specialized thread. I know I am going to be buying a Saitek Pro Flight, I have an X52 but I rarely fly military aircraft so the joystick fora 737/757 or any GA aircraft is not really doing it justice. I was wondering on the Pro Flight if the T5/T6 buttons could be used as sliders for the rudder until I get my rudder pedals in, also same question on the Cessna Version. How is the build quality of the Cessna Version over the Pro Flight?

I must be getting old but the documentation doesn't seem to get through to me. Right now I only use FSUIPC for the Autosave option but now I have the program, I'd better start using it (to get my money's worth). At first I had no clue what to use it for but then I came up with the idea to set up controls in FSUIPC so I can use buttons on my joystick to set the HDG bug in my A2A C172. Because the buttons I have in mind are already assigned to the elevator trim, I decided to also use another button as some sort of shift-key. Hello everyone! Merry Christmas!!! I just wanted to ask a quick question about the saitek throttle assignment. I just received my throttle quadrant for christmas and i have it paired with my T-Hotas Flightstick. I managed to configure the 3 axis to Flaps,Gear and Main Engine Throttle. My question is can i use 2 axis to work with each engine separately (1st axis for engine 1 and 2nd axis for engine 2) ? Furthermore, i noticed while in the FSX assignments section that i can choose between "Engine Throttle 1-4". I tried to assign 1 axis to "engine throttle 1" and then 2nd axis to "engine throttle 2". I've been having this problem for a while. If I slowly start to decrease power, all of a sudden, the power will jump to almost full power. Even at idle, it will jump to life. Any ideas? Kinda think it's something to do with FSUIPC.... Thanks, Chris

Hey guys, I just got the Saitek pro flight yoke system yesterday, and what i am having problems with, is the rudder. How do you set up the rudder? Without the pedals? I tried binding the rudder yaw left/right to a button on the yoke itself, but it's a ###### staying on the centerline while taxiing and takeoff. Any suggestions/solutions? Best regards, Kim.

Hi, I have just recieved the Saitek Multi Panel. Straight away, I went into SPAD and configured it to the NGX special mode. However, this created an error: The readout on the panel keeps on switching between the NGX readout (starting at 100 knots and 10000 feet) and the default multi panel readout (starting at 0 knots and 0 feet). This means that whenever I turn the rotary knob, the readout switches rapidly between both types of readouts. For example, if I twist the knob to select speed 200, the readout will rapidly go from 100 to 200 and end up staying on one of them. I'm having a problem setting up my TrackIR 5 with the Trackclip pro. The problem is mainly that when I rotate my head (yaw) and I'm rotating 90 degrees right or left, the roll movement is not detected. I tried rolling my head at 0 degrees, and it works just fine. As I remain with my head tilted to the right, I try yawing/ rotating my head to the right, and for some reason, the TrackIR software gradually straightens my head, as if my head is not rolled anymore (while it obviously still is). If I keep on yawing or rotating my head beyond 90 degrees left or right, the roll becomes reversed. With this I mean that if I roll my head to the right, it rolls to the left. …

I simply want the clutch button to operate the F9 key when I press it. I have programmed this for all three modes and saved the profile. When I re-open the profile, the F9 programming shows there fine. But when I press the button on the joystick, nothing happens (e.g. open FS Navigator). If I press the FS9 key on my keyboard or the key on my N52 keypad programmed for F9, then all works as expected. The X52 button would me much easier for me to use, so any ideas why it's not working? After many years of Flight Simming using old joystick (which does not work well now), with Christmas money in hand, I am finally ready to move up to yoke and rudder pedals. Would appreciate knowing of the best of these two items. Dave Hinson

I received my Saitek Rudder Pedals as a gift for Christmas, and they aren't working properly in FSX. When I use the toe brakes and push them down all the way, it feels like I am only getting about 40 to 50% braking. I have read that others have had this issue and some had said that using FSUIPC would fix it. I tried that, and unfortunately, it did not help my issue. Anyone know how to fix this? I posted this in the Carenado area here in the Avsim forum also. Sorry but I find that area of this forum confusing. Yesterday I bought the 206 on sale from the Carenado website. I have the Saitek switch panel. When I try to start the ac by turning the mag knob when I go past Both/All it crashes the sim with a loud repeating noise that makes me have to restart the computer to stop. Any ideas or anyone have simular experiance? Thanks

Hi all and Merry Christmas Well Santa was very nice to me and bought me a nice shiny Saitek yoke and throttle system but the nasty people at Amazon are out of stock for the rudder pedals,My question is therefore what is the best way for me to control my rudder until I can get my hands on a set of pedals? I did think about using one of the switches on the yoke but if there are any better suggestions would be grateful for them Thanks

Hello Simmers, Santa arrived 1 day earlier and dropped this in my lap. I would appreciate advice for this installation. I have read in the forums that one should not use the Saitek provided windows drivers. Also that one should not use the provided Saitek Smart Technology (SST) programming software. I am unsure about that and whether I should use the FSUIPC4 system to manage these controls. I intend to use the new controls mainly with the Carenado CT206H Stationair, the PMDG737 NGX, and stock Cessna 172 Thanks in advance!

This is a prime example of how computers wilfully and maliciously change things of their own accord to drive their users crazy!!! I've flown with the Saitek X52 for years, mostly with no problems. But this evening as I try to take off in FSX and pull the joystick back, the elevator goes downwards, and so does the nose! Up until yesterday pulling the joystick back brought the nose up, so what the ****** is going on? I haven't changed anything in X52 at all (my FSX.pr0 file has the same file dates as before). When I started using FSX I was able to use the hat switch on my Saitek X52 Pro to freelook around the 3d cockpit in FSX. However now, the hat switch only moves the camera a couple of degrees and then snaps back to the center. I am no longer able to free look around. If it makes any difference, I'm using a tripple monitor setup using ATI eyefinity. Thank you for reading, I'm willing to try anything. I can submit a video if it's confusing to understand.

Here's a weird one. For nearly a month now whenever I create a BIP profile in Profile Editor, when I go to FSX the BIP always shows the old profile.The problem started same time as I purchased a second radio panel and installed it.. Eventually I saw the Mad Catz Support question - "I’ve updated to the latest software and my profiles no longer appear in the pop-up list ,,," and the answer held a clue. However in my case, it was not a question of copying from old folder to the new one. FSX/ BIP is still using the profile stored in the old folder to display in the BIP. When flying after a while the yoke disconnects and reconnects. Everything is fine but the PTT and hat buttons doesnt work in FSINN and Ezdok. In the Saitek control panel I can see the buttons are activating but the softwares dont seem to recognize it. i have checked my USB power settings and made sure it doesnt turn off.

Hi, I was an avid user of flight Sim 98, then FS2002, then FS9. I have been away from this great hobby for about 7 years !! I have returned, but all my hardware (except my new computer) is gone. So I am in the market for a new joystick. Previously, I used a CH yoke and rudder pedals, but this time (at least for now), I'll be looking for a joystick to get reacquainted with the software. I've been researching joysticks, and I am considering getting a Logitech Extreme 3D pro. Any comment/suggestions? Thank you, Tom
