Hi folks. I have an interesting issue..at least for me it is...and really annoying as well. Everything works just dandy with my three monitors except the runways lights, including taxi ways, VASI, PAPI, are enlarged with a halo effect that almost entirely obscures the runway at night. If I shrink the window FSX is running in they look perfect. I almost always use windowed mode. But even in full screen it does the same thing. Is this a scaling issue? Something I've messed up with the surround config? The knot on my head from mashing it on the desk is getting sore...any ideas? Im using a 970 GTX with the latest drivers. Hi all, My birthday is in a bit (I'll be what...25?) and was thinking about having my kids surprise me (SURRRPRISE!!) with a 4K TV. I've been doing some shopping and prices at Best Buy seem to be all over the map. I'm looking at something around 45-50" and, yeah, if I can even figure out if they're capable of 30Hz, I'll do that. So, does price matter? Brand? Anything to stay away from or lean toward. Cheaper are less painful if they go out. More expensive brands might last longer...maybe. Thoughts?

So loving my 4k monitor BUT everything is hard to read now since the pulldown menus and popup line text are so tiny. Is there any way to improve on this? This FSX btw. Not sure if other sims suffer the same.

Hello all, I have been looking over old threads including Rob A's to find out how to set up SLI in P3D V3.3. I have got as far as enabling it in NCP. However when i run P3D my SLI config goes out of Sync eg; 1 GPU on 1355mhz core and the other 1507mhz, this results in stutters. I have been looking for solutions but im running out of places to look. Any help would be really appreciated. Do I have to use NVI to set a certain profile? Driver: 368.22 Vsync on, TB on, unlimited frames, 30hz. Kind Regards James

While I'm thrilled with my new 3-monitor "surround" VC, I'm struggling how to best read the instrument panels without having to back away from the 6000x1200 display. Although I've used the "-" key to zoom out as far as I can, it's still not enough for me to properly view the flight deck without physically moving my chair further away from my desk. It makes using the mouse a bit of a challenge. I'm also using TrackIR and found disabling the z-axis helps, but still doesn't solve my zoom-out limitation. I almost feel I should do my flight prep in single monitor mode (1920 x 1200) and save my triple monitor display for when I'm in flight. But what I really am hoping for …

Hi to everyone! Im having a first world problem, should i get another 980ti or roll over to a single 1080? I run a 49" 4K tv locked a 30hz. Would SLI scale accordingly? Thank you for any help or advice in advance. James

Hi I need some help as I just bought a 9" monitor to have the GPS run on it and I can move it from my view which I have three monitors for. 1st problem the small monitor became my main menu monitor so I succeeded to change that Now I can not put my prepar 3D in full 3 monitor screen because it jumps to the forth monitor Cover a Free GPS I downloaded from one oF the members posts . I need to have still a full view on my main three monitors 24" and have the GPS separate on my new 9" monitor I have Navida latest card and I am using the multiple surrounding option on it Thanks for any input

Good Morning guys, so finally made the jump to 4k, with the purchase of a 1080GTX that so far, with a little bit of OC on liquid, is running really well! So, generally, thanks to the 6700k and the new GPU, both on liquid and OCd, the sim is running over 70fps, 4k with 2xSamples on the AA. This is 777 out of FRA with ASky and the usual Global+Vector+REX Clouds. Now, I have a 4K GSYNC Monitor, 28" 60Hz, and I am struggling with the screen tearing, as it shouldn't appear and yet it's quite obvious and severe. Any idea on how to improve this? Hey guys Has anyone else tried this driver yet? And how does it respond with ASN I have tried it with asn same settings with enhanced overcast and thunderstorms ticked With pmdg 777 Cloud algorithm is set to 0.50 i think Can't remember eaxactly which folder to check And it's a little bit of a slide show whereas the previous driver was fine. Just wanting to know if anyone else has had same issue Thanks Mike

If anyone has experience or suggestions, they would be appreciated. I own a 4770K overclocked to 4.4 and a GTX 970 GPU. I am somewhat confused about the following: 60mhz vs. 140mhz; g-sync vs v-sync; response time, brands, etc. If necessary, I am willing to spend up to $550, although would prefer a lower price. The main reason for the monitor is P3D, photograph editing, and the internet. I don't want to overspend, but do want to get the best quality for my uses, primarily P3D. Thanks, PDX

Good Evening all, I currently have quite a powerful set up that is running my p3d v3.2 smoothly... but I wanted to switch to a bigger screen from my 24" GSYNC, going to a 27" 4K GSYNC. Considering that I will not be running SGSS anymore in 4k, and my current setup (6700K OC and 980Ti OC), will I see a major drop in performance? Thanks for the feedback!

Hmm, i must admit after a reinstall (clean) from 364.72 to 368.22 i see much better performance and less GPU load in heavy weather I actually do not need NI this time. Only tweak is maximum power setting in Nvidia configuration panel and AM=85. 30-35 FPS in ESSA ORBX today with alot of clouds maxed out and butter smooth in the NGX even with shadows all on receive and RSP 1.1. Back in October 2015, I purchased a new PC for flightsim. Specs are: -I7 4790K -8GB RAM -Zotac GTZ750Ti 2GB - CIT 500W PSU -ASUS H81 -1TB HDD -Windows 7 Home Premium After two months, I got white dots all over my screen while playing flight simulator, I returned my card and was told that it was faulty. I received a replacement a few weeks later and installed the card. On the original card, I was getting a decent amount of FPS with heavy scenery and addons. Even on integrated the performance was still pretty good, my replacement card is now giving me 20FPS less then what I was getting on the original card! hey, i have a 21:9 panel 3440x1440 and when i play p3d on it , there seems to be quiet a bit of distortion on the sides. is there a solution to this ? i tried fiddling with the zoom and above a zoom of .7 the distortion starts to minimize, but the scenery starts to blur/ decrease in quality . maybe an option to adjust horizontal FOV ? my lack of knowledge in this field leaves me without a solution :s kind regards

As per the topic, and for users that switched from a 980Ti to a GTX1080 and use P3D. How much better (if at all) the 1080 is regarding the 980Ti? Please only legitimate replies, as i am thinking about an upgrade from the 980 and i don't see the 1080 outperforming the 980Ti by that much in 2K/4K resolutions while still costing an arm and a leg here in Portugal (~799 euro). The 980Ti costs a little less now, but the 1080 still didn't make its appearance, so the prices will drop further down the month, making the Ti much more attractive. I'm not considering a 1070, it's either 1080 or 980Ti. Thank you.

It`s seems you will probably need a waterblock for cooling, take a look at this review. i for one will wait for the Asus ROG GTX 1080TI Poseidon, because with stock cooling either you will burn your fan out running it at 80% + or will not enjoy the full clock speeds that Nvidia have promised.

I have what I think is the most current version 1.9.7.6. On running the application, it is missing the small button with the wrench and screwdriver on it that previously opened the configuration pages. I now have to run the separate program in the folder called "NVidia Profile Inspector.exe" to access these settings. Is this normal with this current/latest version or is my installation fluffed? I have Windows 10 pro x64 and GTX980Ti. Thanks,

Hi all, I have some issues with my nVidia Inspector recently (do not ask me since when...): I can simply not access the nVidia Inspector Profiles anymore via the tab on the nVidia Inspector GUI, as shown in the screenshot below, this tab (usually situated just right of the "Driver Version" line) is simply missing. I can still access the nVidia Inspector Profiles via starting the separate .exe, but this is not the idea. And: I think that because of this small glitch, my Inspector Profiles are not loaded anymore... Any solutions?
