I have a GTX 465 NVidia card running 2 monitors on Vista 64 bit, Dual core I5 CPU.FSX. All drivers are up to date.Problem is with add on Twin Otter and Dash8 where the panel is showing only the instruments on a flat white panel and the external paints are also blank white. On the aircraft selection panel the paints show correctly but disapear on selection. These aircraft all worked correctly on Win XP. All sliders for graphics are set to maximum. PMDG and others all display correctly.Second issue: The second monitor keeps going to sleep and the only way I can wake it is to go to the NVidia panel, de-select the second monitor then cancel, which wakes it up again.Regar…

I have just ordered parts for a top of the line PC (I run a Mac normally) which includes an nVidia GeForce GTX 570 card. I intend to build a dedicated cockpit around my system eventually. I am torn between these options for video so any help, advice, suggestions will be appreciated. Two 32" 1080P LCD TVs behind a false windshield with the center brace covering the bezels. Two 32" computer monitors. One 1080P projector onto a curved screen. 1. or 2. above connected to a Matrox Dual Head Digital box and the second port on the card available for a glass cockpit. Hey everyone. Ive been having a few visual problems with FSX recently, i guess i could say these have been happening from day one but only now do i really notice them. My monitor (an AOC E2343F) has been giving some very weird flickers recently, like rewinding an old video in a video player. I can get distortion lines going across the screen during FSX game play. Another problem (and i think this may be linked) is that no matter what tweaks i do i am constantly getting stutters, i am currently using FPS limiter @30FPS max and i still get stutters. I made a really silly mistake and ordered a Matrox Triplehead2Go and then found out my 5870 can support 3 monitors (I was able to save myself, luckily), with a DP adapter or something required for one of the monitors. However, can I get the same performance just hooking up the 3 monitors to the card, or do I need to get the Eyefinity as well? Sorry if these seem like silly questions.

Hi guys, I am thinking about replacing my 3x24" (1920x1200) monitors with 3x40" (1920x1080) lcd tv's. I can imagine the immersion being a lot better in some areas but I have a few questions if there are any people out there doing something similar! I am worried about how good the image will be. Sure, it wont be a crisp as my monitors but will it seem fuzzy or give me some sort of eyestrain after a while trying to get a focus that I will never get. Also, does anyone use trackir on large screens like this? Does it work well? Does it induce any ill effects, like feelings of vertigo etc, with such a large screen panning around. I just built a nice new system and would like to add a new monitor. I am tossed as to go the Triple Head w/ 3 23" monitors vs. a 40" tv plus my current monitor. My video card us a GTX 580 so either way I think I am safe. Also if I go TH2G would I need an additional video card for gauges? If so I have an old Radeon 5700 but can Imnix and match nVidia & aTi? Hi All, I have been reading through all of the threads on the 480 Vs. 580 and the infinite detail that the top sticky goes into. Excellent thread.But the problem is it has left me none-the-wiser as to what card to get when building a new machine for FSX and all of its add-ons (REX, PMDG, et. al.).The GTX 580's are quite simply out of my reach financially (they're closer to $600 here in Australia) .The 480 for me seems too slow, and I don't want such an old card in a new PC. Hello all, I am hoping someone who knows more about this stuff than I can assist me. I had an 8800GT graphics card that worked great until it stopped working on me about a month ago. In a haste, I bought (what I thought was) a temporary replacement to get me through the summer months before I decide to upgrade my system with a Sandy Bridge around October (when the weather gets cold again!). Connecting Th2go digital to 560i with 3 22" 1680x1050 monitors. Change res to 5040x1050, looking good no problem. Lunching FSX, FSX load fast, to fast, gets to 100%, tells me that complete loadig, and nothing from there, get to Task Manager only to find out that FSX is "Not responding" Any idea ???????????Tnx in advance Yair

I have an 27 inch lg e2750 led screen as a primary, and also am using my old 22inch hp lcd screen on a 580 card.How can I use the primary (lg) for fsx, and leave the secondary running other apps or the internet?Is that possible, as the secondary goes blank when I run fsx?Thanks for any advice.I am running w7 64bit on a i2600k with 8gb ram.P.S. while I am at it, anyone know how to calibrate the lg, as the colors are way too bright, and no info is available on this model for some reason, and the driver disc fails to install.

Hey Fellas,I'm presently running 3 - 23" wide screen Acers (1920 X 1080) with 1 GTX 580 and a GTX 240. I like to fly GA, VFR over the PNW area. I do not have TH2Go and so I am having to live with 3 undocked windows in VC mode. I would love to hear your opinions about whether or not it would be better to invest in TH2Go or to purchase a second GTX 580. If I went with a second 580, I am guessing it would be good to tie them together and maybe try something like Nvidia's Surround?I'm hoping that I might hear from both sides here as I am really not at all sure which way to go.
