For some strange reason I cannot open the Nvidia control panel.I used to access it with a right click on the desktop. Now it doesn't show up at all. Hi, I connected the 10m length HDMI cable to my TV. When I start FSX it starts to flicker. Sometimes more often. Maybe once every minute. Sometimes almost every 10second.Have you experianced it? If yes, please help.That happens only when running FSX.

I reciently installed the .net framework on windows XP, and now I get errors from time to time, asking me if I want to continue or exit. I always just continue. It doesnt seem to affect anything, but it is a nucience. I would like to get rid of it if at all possible. it is ver 3.5, and I uninstalled version 4.0, seems it wasn't being used by anything, but was getting the error before that aswell.

Apperently FSX needs the microsoft .net framework to run a lot of addons properly. When I was looking at the different versions of the framework, the newest version, 4.0, needs a lot higher system specs then the 3.5 version. Seeing that, im wondering if there is a big peformance difference between the 2. For most the addons that require the .net framework, they only require the 3.5 version. so what do you guys think? should I get the 3.5 version, or the 4.0 version? is there a peformance difference between them? I would rather get the newer one, 4.0, but if its ties up a lot more of the system then 3.5, ill stick with 3.5, becuase thats all that is nessary. But if they bo…

Hello, Well my performance is just fine with the drivers but they keep seem to be failing at some aspects. For instance my DirectX 10 preview in FSX keeps disappearing. When I re-install the drivers it comes back but after a few restarts or something it disappeared again. I also had trouble with X Plane cos OpenGL stopped working. A re install helps but is not a permanent fix. Thanks,

Hey its me again. So i had a 9400gt before, about 15 FPS in the VC of the NGX at CYYZ. So, i get the 460 abd i get the same frames. hardly any gain at all in FPS. However, in any other game, it runs great. (BFBC2 runs at high at 60 frames)Thanks for your help :)

MATROX's DH2GO digital edition only uses the VGA analog input and has no DVI input as does the TH2GO digital editionTheir DP edition seems to have a DVI inout but they are out of stock or unavailable at NCIX Can I use a DVI-to-VGA converter from my Graphics card? Hello, To optimize my display under FSX, I began few days ago to update my driver of GCU...a lot of hours (!) later, I do not still manage to have a correct display FSX.from a correct display (with small aliasings), I passed to very unrefined display(posting). I am under Windows 7 / Boot Camp / Imac 27. When I use AMDdriverdownloader, he indicates me that I have a mobility ATI 5850 ! And thus invites me to download and to install the appropriate CCC (version 11.8). What I made, but the results are not good. I also tried with the CCC for "normal" ATI HD 5850 but not better... Is it possible to just copy over my entire hard drive onto another one? will that make a backup so if windows crashes and I need to reformat, I just have to reformat that hard drive, then copy over the backup that I made?Is that possible?

Hi all, Shopping around for a GTX 570. I keep reading the reviews(as well as lots of helpful forum posts here) and I am going back and forth between the 570 and 580. I currently have a 285 and I think the card has reached it max potential with my current clock speeds, addons etc etc. Has anybody with specs similar to mine upgraded to a 570? Will this card perform well on my system at the high resolution that I run FSX?(1920X1080). I also run at the high levels of AA and AF suggested by Ryan in the PMDG forum. I think I have settled on EVGA for the brand. I am also going back and forth on a pretty standard card vs the "superclocked" version.

HiI want to buy a new screen to my new computer .I thought of buying Samsung SyncMaster BX2450 but i wander. Would it matter if i'll buy a TV monitor ( LED Full HD ) with a bigger size ? Morning guys, As you do, you always find yourself tweaking around trying to improve things that little bit more, so my question to u pro's is would i see much improvent by overclocking my 580. Its a gigabyte gtx 1.5gb and at stock clocks 772 mhz. I am happy with perf but i do like to push things a little further, so would it be worth it? BTW, i only have stock cooler for the card. Im torn between the two coming from a 9800GTX+ my current setup is an i7 920 @ 3.2ghz mild OC, 6gb OCZ ram, 750W crappy CIT PSU, Intel DX58SO smackover mobo and a Zalman 3D M215W native res 1920 x 1080. Which of the above cards would be more suited to FSX? bearing in mind I play other games too like Crysis 2, and will be playing BF3 when it comes out. Any help much appreciated.

I'll be getting a new graphics card soon, but the two cards I'm looking at--the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 TI or the AMD Radeon HD6870--both require 500 Watts of power, while my dell xps 8300 can only provide 460 watts. Is it necessery to have a IPS monitor when it comes to gaming.LCD monitors are a big pain regarding flying at night. Is IPS monitor helping it out a bit? I am looking for two or three monitors. I've been trying to discover if the Samsung 2443BW+ monitor has one of those high gloss protective screen covers on it. I've checked the Samsung specs and I didn't see if mentioned anywhere. Also, is the display ratio 16:10? So please advise and thanks!Mark
