Help Using the AVSIM Forums

I can't find any other place to post this request, so here it goes.When I quote a post my answer is posted directly underneath the quote: on other forums (using the same software) there automatically is space inserted after the quote, which makes it far more pleasant and clear to read everything.Example of how it is now: And this is my reply.Example of how it looks elsewhere: And this is my reply.This is an option in the forum software that afaik can simply be enabled... Maybe Avsim could enable this here too? It happens that short answers almost go by unseen under long quotes... and it just doesn't look good...

So I bought/installed Tapatalk on my new 4S, and I can't really figure it out.While the app is selfexplaining, when I enter participated, the timestamp on what I think is the date/time of the last posted reply is not correct - in the upper right part of the topic window is the grey date/time... what should this time represent if not last posted reply? And it's always bringing up older topics, where noone replied for couple of days.Unread is pretty unpractical since it displays everything unread... Hello,I Have had problems for a while now, with the Avsim Forums not displaying correctly on my desktop. I am using Google chrome on windows 7 64bit, and have also tried using the forum on internet explorer but it still wont display properly, even in compatibility mode. However the forums do work with my laptop and it has been the only alternative to viewing the site properly.I have attached a picture to give an example of every time I open the site with my desktop. But to give it a brief description, basically the website background is completely white (pictures do not display) and all I see is the text. Also if I view the main forum page with cache then it only partiall…

How do I send a PM to another member?I can't find a Send me a message button in any members profile: nor can I find any reference in my own profile to Enabling/Disabling messages. A click-by-click guide would be helpful.

Can any one help me please.I know that moving the sliders adjusts the scenery but does anyone know what exactly is being adjusted and what does each slider does to the general picture you are seeing.e.g. Mesh complexity what is being adjusted ? Pixels ?Also Mesh resolution, Texture Res et alIf I knew what each slider did I could work out what the best setting would be for my system.Thanks.Michael

Hi, I tried uploading a screenshot today. Opened up a Flickr account to support that, but when I paste the URL I get a red cross in a box and when posting it says I cannot upload anything with that extension. But it is a jpeg image, so I guess I need some help here. Thanks Menno

I had using Tapatalk on my Samsung Galaxy S2 Android device during months, but yesterday, when i try to enter, appears avsim forum but in guess mode. i try to login with same login info but says incorrect name or password. Now, can't acces anymode, it says error accesing forum .... Anyone have the same problems???

hey Guys, I need some help, my friends fsx is having trouble with autogen trees and buildings. Autogen Disappears withing 10 mins after i fly out side of the radius i started at. i he adjusts the graphics settings they reappear on ly to disappear in a few minutes, everything worked before but this recently started.Things that I have tried:1. Deleting FSX.cfg. no affect2. Complete reinstall of fsx ( uninstall and deleted all files pertaining to it EVERYTHING)3. Installed original graphics card drivers and software.4. Hi Apologies if this has been raise before. I did a quick search. I was trying to figure out why there seems to be a relatively poor response to our 'new' club in the Gatwick area. There are a lot of simmers in the London and South East who may like to attend but dont know it exists. The UK club forums are not too obvious anyway but I noticed that the whole Hangar section can only be seen when logged in. Is it worth considering highlighting the presence of the clubs on other sub forums?
