:-hmmm Bill... Is the fuel primer switch (toggle) really functional. Do you really have to toggle 2-3 times to get a engine start?RB

Sirs,What's the situation with the R4D? I've seen lots of screenshots of her but I'm confused as to how many versions there are and the different websites it's on. Can I buy the Gmax R4D from MAAM?Regards,Bob

I purchased the download version of the B-25 on the day it was released, and it was great. I normally avoid military stuff in FS, but the B-25 really got my attention. Some time ago I had a HD crash and lost all my addons. I know I should have backed everything up, but I was lazy and kept on putting it off.Anyway, I've got everything up and running again, and I've just purchased the B-25 again :)Are there any RAF paints available or in the works? Also, are there any plans to do a B-17? I'd love to have go at flying one of those in FS :)BTW, if you're interested in supporting a similarly good cause, check out the PSS Vulcan. I purchased this too due to my love for the real a…

Finally got a graphics program to resize my digital images so here is what I use for BT. The actual picture was during a 737 session so had the 2 engine jet throttle installed in the console. I have the 2 engine jet, 4 engine jet and 2 engine prop throttles. Tubes are 21" flat screen, 17" and a 15"..Enjoy. Mike B.

Whenever I run at high manifold pressure I get a kind of buzzing in the left engine. The sound repeats itself every few seconds and last a few seconds. But when I drop the MAP and the rpm's to cruise the sound either goes away totally (29.5-31.5 MAP) or becomes signifantly reduced in the 35-39 MAP range. What is this sound? I ask because yesterday I was in mid-flight when I wanted to climb a bit and I heard this sound, but then my engines crapped out on me and I had to restart in flight :). Thinking maybe this sound is a warning or something.

Hello,Just a question about one of the trims on the B-25J Mitchell.I see the one for the left and right aileron.I see the one for the left and right rudder.I don't see the one for the horizontal rudder that is very useful to stabilize the altitude of the aircraft during the flight.Where is it located on the dashboard ?Thank you for your helpBye

Russ,I know you lurk here from time to time. I wanted to tell you that your argument vs the RCS B25 plagarism was coherint, well laid out and extremely water tight. I hope the RCS team will do the right thing and withdraw their pirated software immediately.I have no idea how many flightsimmers have joined MAAM since the first release of the R4D6, nor how many persons around the world have contributed money to the museum on the basis of flightsim software alone, but I have done both. Reading your open letter to the flightsim community concerning this matter reminds me why I have done so and why I will continue to support the Museum. I refuse to let a highly positioned …

OK - this isn't the first aircraft that I've had this happen to me with.I just bought the b-25. This is probably the sweetest friggin' plane I have ever seen or flown, and I own a number of quality addons. GREAT JOB AND SCREW RCS! :)Anyway, after landing at O'hare after flying around for a couple of hours, I did my first landing in the in plane. I wanted a screenshot for posterity - so I paused the sim, and did a replay of the landing. Now the problem - during the replay, the landing gear went back up into the aircraft!! I got my landing, but it was like I was hovering. When I started the replay, I heard the copilot say something about the gear going up and I was watching …

Took the MAAM B-25 up to 6,500 feet of altitude. Flew a short hop of 89.6 nm to Concord, NH (KCON) ADF 206. Refueled. Then (KCON) to Gander, Newfoundland (CYQX) ADF 280. 7,500 feet for only 782 nm. Nice flight. MS may have left out some scenery here and there. Landed safe.Next stop -- Kangerlussuaq, Greenland (BGSF). ADF 382. 9,500 feet altitude. 1,091 nm distance. Fuel should be no problem. Thank you for leaving in the auto-pilot. With a little bit of luck should land in San Deigo, California in a few weeks or so.Nice plane, really nice.Frenchy -- out.

Hi guys, I just recieved the 2 CD's in the mail today, and the CD for the aircraft was blank! I'm guessing its the first :)Well, please contact me via email, and we can settle this, man to man.:)well, good day to you all!

Hi,I was hoping any of you "panel gurus" might be able to help me with this question:I am using FS_Meteo for getting real weather conditions into MSFS. I would like to add the Weather Gauge as a pop-up window in BT. But all the available "slots" (SHIFT-1 through SHIFT-9) are taken in BT. Is there any other way of adding the Weather Gauge, and assigning it to e.g. SHIFT-0?Any input would be much appreciated.Best Regards,-- Stefan

You guys have made a masterpiece! I must admit, out of my own stupidity I held off on getting this great aircraft until now. I wasn't sure if I would really enjoy it. Boy was I wrong! I haven't stopped flying since I got it! You'll have to pry my hands off the yoke to fly your next release! :-lol At the rate I'm flying her I'm gonna be selling everything I own for the engine overhauls very shortly!! Won't need tires or brakes yet though.. Been very carefull with those just like Russ said. Plant her firmly, but gently and aero brake as much as possible. :) The manual even in the download version is excellent. Seriously folks. This is one silky smooth flyer. For anybody …

Hi,I am experiencing some rather odd behaviour during ILS approaches in the B-25. When getting into range of the ILS, I see how the NAV1 needles come to life, and I am intercepting the glide slope. Then, suddenly, both the NAV1 and NAV2 units seem to be going for lunch (the ADF continues to work, thought,) returning the needles to the center positions. I am positive that I haven't deviated from the approach glide slope, not enough to get out of the beam. I also double-checked the frequency settings, and my position on the GPS, and FSNavigator. This happen app. on two approaches out of three, and does not seem to be related to which airport or ILS approach I am going for. …

Bill,I was just wondering if/when MAAM was going to publish the 2003 season for BT (or even if such a thing exists). I know about the show at Toughkenamon PA on June 1 and the MAAM WW2 Weekend on June 6,7 and 8. Will BT be doing other shows? The main reason I ask is because I am planning on simming BT on a national tour this year to celebrate the Centennial of Flight and I'm trying to put together an itenerary. I hope to physically fly BT on the tour etc. At the moment, I am considering using one of the Collings Foundation's past Wings of Freedom tours (B-17 and B-24) if I can't find one for our BT. The link I am looking at is: http://www.collingsfoundation.org/cf_sc…

Guys, I had to format my PC recently and lost the back up of B-25(download version). Foolishly, I didn't make a CD copy. I have it and I fly it because I have FS2002 installed on a second hard drive.( I just renamed the present FS2002 file, reinstalled the game and deleted the new FS2002 file, replacing it with the old one by renaming it again. 14GB of data! ). Thankfully, almost all my add ons work except a few, but I have the back ups. But that's not the case of my B-25. I fly it allright, but I want the back up file. Can you please tell me how I can re download the file? Not the trial version. I wrote to Rob Young several days ago and I don't know if he got my e-mail. …
