The long overdue patch for the missing altimeters has been uploaded. Mea culpa. To be perfectly honest, I have been more concerned with my duties as the volunteer webmaster and on-line store admin for the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum than my responsibilities as the sole survivor among the MAAM-SIM team. Bill, I was and still am, extremely sorry that Jan has had to retire, but it is for his best. My question is "Will MAAM-SIM still be publishing new aircraft models, such as the P-61 and a new FSX version of the R4D and the FSX version of the Turkey? I am just curious about it. I am operating FSX with the MAAM DC-3 suite of aircraft modified for FSX.. I have had the much debated issues with missing gauges that I have resolved with information from this forum. The loading and engine start procedures go well and I takeoff normally. However, at about 2000 feet altitude I hear a "chicken/turkey" sound over the speakers, the engines reduce to idle without any input from me and I settle slowly onto the ground. This only happens with the MAAM DC3 aircraft. The default FSX aircraft perform normally. The "chicken/turkey" sound must be part of FSX or the MAAM files - programmers with a sense of humour! MAAM-SIM's good friend Alastair Monk has converted the B-25 'Briefing Time' 7th Edition Software User's Manual to a printable Word document - available in both A4 (113pp) and US Letter (120pp) formats. He's also provided both Word 93-97 and Word 2010 versions of each. All four downloads are approximately 10Mb in size. These conversions are nearly identical to the original HTML version, other than minor image resizing and insertion of clean page breaks for printing. I ordered a download of their B-25 five days ago but have not received any download link as yet. My order history for this item simply states "paid" whereas all others state "Complete/Shipped". I installed the Task Force 16 scenery and when I go to CV8 Airport which is the Hornet, my B25 is sit on top of a 'JETWAY' in the middle of the ocean. And the other carrier VN25 is the same, a "JETWAY". Hi . On the 03/AUG/17 I purchased the MAAM SIM B25J V7 for FSX , downloaded and installed. When I selected the aircraft in freeflight , I found the aircraft twitching and moveing on the tarmac , with no engines running in cold/dark. It has taken me 4 days to find the culprit , but don't know if I have isolated the correct item , below is the two repeated entries in the aircraft.cfg file where only one should reside. Does anybody on hgere know how to download purchases from MAAM-SIM? I made a purchase two days ago which was shown as only availablke by digital download. But there were no instructions on how to downlad, I have received no emails from them and I have tried to contact them three times through their enquiry form but these seem to be being ignored. If I have to, I will get my bank to retrieve the money paid by card but I would obviously rather prefer to get what I have bought. John

I bought the DC-3 (FSX version) yesterday. No instruments were visible in the main panel (except the autopilot) in both VC or 2D cockpit. No mouse click icons were visible in the 2D cockpit. I'm using FSX SE, Windows 10, 64-bit.

A question about using projectors with the Briefing Time B-25. I'm using Prepar3D v3.4. I don't want the aircraft interior to show in the projector view. In some aircraft types which have in the Models folder a file called airplanexx_interior.mdl I am able to do this by "commenting out" the line in the model.cfg file that refers to that file, like this: //interior=cessna172sp_interior. This causes the display system to draw only the outside view. However I don't see such a file in the B-25 files. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Many thanks in advance. Don Whyte

I just purchased and installed "MAAM-SIM Douglas R4D/DC-3/C-47 - FSX DOWNLOAD VERSION". As soon as I try to open the overhead electrical panel, FSX crashes to the desktop. There is another, less critical but possibly related symptom: When I start FSX, and when I try to select any aircraft from the Free Flight screen, I get an error "There are multiple objects with the same title name. They must have unique title names. Just a simple question - I've just found the MAAM B-25 online, and wonder if anyone has had this working in P3Dv4? I'd love to have a B-25 in my hangar but $30 is a bit much to speculate with for a possibly non-working model. I've got plenty of FSX models working fine in P3Dv4, but I'm a bit cautious with models originally built for FS9. Thanks for any advice, Andy

After a recent computer crash I am having to re install all of my models. I have searched and searched my email and looked at my order history on MAAM and can not find my download link again. All I can find is the invoice for payment. What am I missing gents?

Some DC-3 users have reported missing gauges after installing the DC-3 package. I’ve been stumped by this, suspecting it had to be something in the OS, but not sure what. I just did a Google search and came up with this on the PMDG website. It sounds like this is the problem. Credit to them. A couple of days ago , me and another member of the 91st , where flying the maamsim b25 on joinfs version 1.2.10 , we tookoff from KNUQ and had just passed the first vor GTD on our route and turned towards our second vor when within a split second of each other our flightsims had a fatal crash , as anyone else flown the b25 in formation on joinFS and had any fatal crashes. Search for but couldn't find the textures used to create the exhaust stack flashes. I'm not fond of them and would like to remove them. Does anyone know where they are and what they're called?

Hallo, I have the following question, I installed the Avenger in FSX but when i switch to the TO or Main panel a black part appear in the lower side of the screen. I can manually adjust this part of the screen to full screen mode. But is there a way to adjust this in the panel cfg to keep the background in full screen mode during switching between panels. thanks so far. rgds Willem.
