The download program loaded to my sim fine, but when I try to load the plane from the menu, the exterior graphics will not load. The interior and gauges are fine, the plane flies great, but I think there is a glitch in the config files for the exterior textures. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix for this problem that anyone could let me know about?

After months of flying FSX, I started to miss my FS9 Avenger so last week I installed my Avenger and 45 repaints into FSX. Beautiful, just beautiful. I didn't realize how much I missed the ol' turkey. The only thing I would add would be some camera views, primarily for the external views. So I was wondering if anyone has created any?? Thanks --WH

I am unable to get the troop ladder, paratrooper, troop seats, or other related animations to work. The jump doors/cargo doors works OK (opens/closes with assigned door commands). My "/" key is assigned (spoilers). My "I" key is assigned (smoke) My "T" key is assigned (tailhook) They work on other models. I'm using the correct versions (e.g. BBMF & "Warton" for paratrooper animations, etc.) I've read the manuals/docs but I can't find anything that I'm missing? Anything I should look for in the .cfg or something that might need correction? (I found the missing altimeters in the other C-47 models & corrected those myself.) Appreciat…

I thought I would give the MAAM DC3 for FSX a try, but it doesn't work. I get no gauges except the sperry autopilot in either vc mode or 2d. The window pop-ups for the Window04=Overhead Electrical Panel, Window06=Cowl Flaps, Window07=Flap and Gear Controls and Window09=Audio fail to open. They flash for a half a second is all. I downloaded the Norm Hancock panel and I now get gauges but the pop-ups still fail to work so I can't even start the engines. Any ideas? Thanks, Alan Using Win 7 with Acceleration, GTX 570

LS, I have happily been flying the B-25 in FSX. However, I now come across a VC panel with no instruments, see picture. I have recently installed FSX Accelaration to be able to fly other airplanes. Could this be the problem. Could you give some advise how to repair this, please. Thanks hanss

Hello, good morning. I re-buy MAAM R4D/DC3/C47 to install it on a new computer ( Win7 64 bits and FSX Accélération Pack ) . MAAM Installer 10th edition for FSX. Everything works well ... but no altimeter in VC panel ...for some variant. If this happens for you, I suggest to verify in panel.cfg , area [VCockpit04] and [VCockpit05] line "gauge10" and rename Altimeter1, and Altimeter2. For me it was the solution. Best Regards Yves

Hi Folks,It is with great pleasure that i may officially announce and present the first WIP screenshots of MAAM-SIM's long awaited first native FSX aircraft model. It is not only our first native FSX model but it's also a new branch on the tree of MAAM-SIM's slowly but steadily expanding collection of virtual examples of vintage aircraft belonging to the Mid Atlantic Air Museum. We have always had a keen eye on that smart looking yellow biplane that mostly occupies the mid spot of the MAAM hangar. Further investigation proved that it is the Naval Aircraft Factory N3N-3 'Yellow Peril' and we thought it would serve very well as a 'testbed' to research the plethora of new po…

Hello... I've enjoyed many happy hours flying the MAAM DC-3 in FSX. Enjoyed it so much I've even done some repaints (of African Airlines of the day) of the DC-3 and had them 'published' on AVSIM and FS.Com. Great Paint kits BTW (thanks Mark) I recently purchased FS9 with a view to 'dedicating' it to older AC from the 40's, 50's and 60's and the scenery that goes along with it, namely that provided by Cal Classics. Of course, I wanted to 'fly' my MAAM AC in FS9 as part of my fleet. Problem, I can't get it to work. I'm aware that the FSX version that MAAM kindly provided is a 'portover' of the FS9 version and I'm wondering if it's possible to 're-tweak' it to fly in …

I have the old original Briefing Time B-25J Mitchell CD for FS2002. I have downloaded and installed the update for FS2004 and the bird flies beautifully in FS2004. I have also downloaded the 2004 to FSX update, and installed it. The aircraft and panel display just fine in FSX, but every time I click on a toggle/simicon shortcut or try to bring up a secondary panel from the views>Instrument Panel options, FSX closes down. I thought I had this going at one time, but after I upgraded to Windows 7, I never tried reinstalling the B25J into FSX until now. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong, or Is this old version not compatible, even by installing the updates? I …

Just downloaded and installed the B-25 "Briefing Time" package for FS2004 - looks, sounds, and runs great. Just one problem... The altimeter is consistently off. It reads 150 to 200 feet lower than actual altitude. I've verified that the barometric setting is correct - 29.92. Any suggestions?

Hi guys, I had the MAAM B-25J "Briefing Time" in FS04/FS9 and enjoyed it a lot. When I saw that you guys now had compatibility with FSX I looked for the B-25 materials I downloaded so very long ago and I think two systems back before this new one. I couldn't find them so I went to your site with the intent of asking if you had any record of me as a customer. Once I got there I remembered that I do like to support worthwhile organizations like yours. So I purchased the CD version of it figuring it as a donation of sorts: Invoice date (and apparently time): 04-15-2013 05:57:51 PM Order ID #14352 Order status: Paid SKU: MSd-BT-CD7 Product: MAAM-SIM No…

Just purchased DC 3 and have it installed and running. Manual start works and flights are doing well, but I would like to know if the alternate panels that are on the website are usuable for the the FSX port over edition that I purchased and installed. I am planning on installing the RXP 530Gns and possibly some other gauges. Just confused as to what I really have and wonder if there is any updates or anything that i need to do. I also don't have any light in the VC after dark. Any ideas? Thanks for your time, any response would be appreciated. Grizz Wallace KBFI Win 7 64 and FSX with accel.

Hi I have installed Win7 64-bit and FS2004. Now I need to re-install the DC-3 from the CD as no gauges are to be found in the gauges folder. The install will start, but a win security message tells me that there is spyware in this file: _inst10.exe This sim is still the best DC-3,and I had no problem whatsoever with it installing it on my former WinXP. I've just accumated over 2000 hours on the DC-3, and to me it's the best aircraft that I have in my folder. I've never had any major issues with it since purchase. I like the old style steam gauges and also having to plan your route without a FMC. I've removed the GPS from the panel folder and rely strickly on the Low Altitude charts and such. Even thou I have PMDG, Captain Sims, LVD767, Quality Wings, Ifly, Feelthere and Maddog. I rather fly the DC-3 anytime, you'll will se me a lot on VATSIM as AAL600, I've flown 865 straight flights with the DC3, my intentions was to do 1,000 but medical reason stop that. SO HOPE TO SEE IN THE AIR.... "OLD TOOT"
